Oh my goodness...I've been craving a delicious Donut...My God doesn't disappointment me...So as I was driving down Hazel Avenue heading North, I spotted a shop simply named Donuts, well that's what my eye saw. My God wants me to be a little sweeter...so I had to try out the Donut Shop!!! I'm telling you my taste buds and my tummy were singing. These donuts are the freshest most delicious donuts I have encountered in a long time. I was in Heaven biting into the most crunchiest on the outside and so fluffy/moist on the inside Apple Fritter!!!! This sweet little lady really knows how to make a delicious Apple Fritter. I also tried a cake donut with chocolate frosting...also so fresh and moist...I really enjoyed both of my donuts!!! The cup of coffee with half and half I bought to chase my donuts was very fresh and yummy also. Was the best thing I could have chased my donuts with!!! The little lady behind the count was so warm and welcoming. She even laughed at my sense of humor with me as I paid for my delicious donuts. If you're like me and craving a donut and you're in the area...this is the place for you. Well I'd say it's worth the drive to go out your way for this donut spot!!! We made a spontaneous stop here on a Sunday around 10:30a while on an outing. The inventory was quite depleted. The kind & sweet lady working there was apologetic. Apparently, a big local event was happening that day & a lot of people had come in earlier. The shop was clean. The floor to ceiling windows made it bright with natural light . There were a few tables for 2-4 people to sit & enjoy treats there. We picked a buttermilk bar with chocolate glaze & a chocolate cake donut with chocolate glaze & coconut. She generously threw in a raised glaze! We also got a mocha. The mocha was just basic. The buttermilk bar had a nice outer crust, a tender inside, & the chocolate wasn't too sweet. Just my kind of donut! Little one said her cake donut was delicious & enjoyed it with enthusiasm. The raised was yeasty & not overly sweet. May is very friendly. The donuts are fresh and don't taste like stale oil. May even custom fills donuts with custard if you ask. The espresso drinks are good. I always get a cappuccino. Clean environment. read more

This is the only place we go to for donuts, muffins, and breakfast sandwiches. May, one of the owners, is absolutely delightful and always remembers me and my daughters. We adore her croissants which are so fluffy with a crisp outside and the muffin flavors are amazing! We also get iced lattes and prefer to support this local business over the new coffee chain that recently opened in the shopping center. The store is clean and inviting and has a few spots to sit if you want to eat on site. Definitely a little local gem in Fair Oaks! read more

This donut store makes up one of the triumvirate of donut stores I go to - the lovely lady who works there (whom I see most of the time) is sweet and delightful. The donuts are fresh and delicious and the service fantastic. I normally wouldn't recommend donut stores but I find that I go to one for either myself, my children, or my staff frequently and it occurred to me that this store deserves my praise. read more

Our little donut shop in the neighborhood gets five stars! It's on Hazel in the same shopping center as Mikuni. Lots of parking! The owners are super friendly and happy and you always get an extra donut. The donuts are fresh and airy and delicious. Lots of selections - donuts, muffins, fritters, etc. Also drinks to choose from. I haven't tried the coffee. Price is very reasonable for homemade fresh donuts delivered with a smile. This place is amazing. I had an emergency order to place. (Because at the last minute I realized I had ordered donuts for the wrong day) when I called them and told them I needed 8 dozen in 15 minutes, they immediately got into action, put together the order, and when my sis went to pick them up, they rang it up right away, and she was able to get donuts to a 2nd grade classroom for my grandsons birthday. I had just said i wanted a donut and the same afternoon found us at mikuni sushi next door.....while we waited for our table, i filled a large pink box of happiness to take back to our hotel room!!! It was close to closing about 145pm but everything was fresh ....they even filled some chocolate bars with Bavarian cream for me...they also offered whipped cream filling or jelly filling, too Super nice owner, vert friendly....i think he ever gave us 4free donuts!!!! We ate sushi for lunch and did not have the donuts until after dinner probably 7pm back in our hotel room And they were still fresh and soooo yummy My son said he thought they were the best donuts ever .... we even used them for his birthday celebration!!!! I've lived up the road from this spot for almost a decade. Today was my first visit. And despite my donut-shop-wide annoyances of how expensive it has become to buy them, paired with it being 4:30am and I think doing ANYTHING at that hour is possibly the worst thing ever, I walked into the warmest greeting, service and experience I've had at any brick and mortar establishment for ages. Being my first visit, I got a selection of my favorite donuts: apple fritter, blueberry cake, maple old fashion, raspberry jelly filled, lemon filled....and to give a FULL review, also got a ham, egg and cheese croissant sandwich. Not everywhere has a couple of these and immediately I was happy to see Donut Stop did. I've since sampled a bite of each and no longer do I have the "price and early morning" annoyances....I am overjoyed to report that this place is where to go when you want a quality breakfast treat as well as anything you'd hope for on the other side of the counter. I didn't catch the young lady's name but she was amazing. OH, and the stencil of Bill Murray from "Striped" with "You're Awesome" on the wall should be enough to make this the best donut shop in town. Go try it out and see that I'm right. read more

My boyfriend and I LOVE this place! I have never liked donuts, but after going into this shop I decided to try one of their cream filled donuts, and oh my gosh, my mind was changed! Since then, I have tried many of their items and have never left disappointed. The Americanos are my favorite coffee drink to get here as well! We have been going here for 2 years now because of how much we love it. Not to mention, the service is amazing too! May is one of the sweetest people who recognizes us every time we come in, and happily greets us already knowing our go-to order! Even if it has been a while since we've been in! I'd come back here just for the customer service alone. They were so friendly we enjoyed chatting with the owners/ employees just as much as we enjoyed the donuts! The donuts are very old fashioned donut style with a wide assortment and they even had croissants/ muffins. A great variety of coffee, tea and bottled drinks. You can tell when an owner really cares about their business and this is one of those places. We were getting some work done on our car nearby so we went here to kill some time in a place with AC. It is very clean, neat, and inviting. The employee who I think was the owner was friendly. He gave my son a couple donut holes for free and I saw them give some to another customer who picked up a dozen. That is how you get return customers! I love the Donut Stop! I normally make sure to stop by after having lunch at Mikuni's next door. I have tried the cinnamon roll, maple bars and glazed donuts. They were all excellent. I love Krispy Kreme donuts, but all traditional donuts should aspire to be like these donuts. They also have a breakfast sandwich, which is egg and ham on croissant. Very tasty! We have picked up a few of these for the office and they were a huge hit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside to this place is parking. It can be tough to find a spot because they share a parking lot with the always-packed Mikuni's. You should stop by and try their donuts if you get the chance though...SO GOOD! read more
