After this incident, we went back to them expecting at least an apology. What did they do? They offered to refund $29.35 and didn't even say "I'm sorry." And again -- this is not speculation. Their last health inspection specifically pointed out negligence around food safety, including improper storage and handling of ham and cheese croissants -- exactly the item that made my son sick. This is beyond disappointing. This is dangerous. If they can't keep bread and ham safe to eat -- something you serve every day -- then how can anyone trust them with any food? Parents, friends, and neighbors -- stay far away from this place. Your health is NOT worth their incompetence, and your family shouldn't be a test subject for their lack of standards. With Donut King being open 24/7, they've NEVER let me down when 'called' upon. Which goes to say, Hubs & I are frequent customers of the late night variety. LOL But hey, I'm sure the consistency we've experienced means we'd likely get the same tasty goodness & friendly service at ANY time of day--at least that's what I'd like to think.
