We downgraded to a four star for the following reasons: the servers seemed inexperienced, over 20 minute delay for anyone to greet us at our table, and cheap wine pours. Given that, the staff was friendly (although seemingly inexperienced, but it's hard to knock them given it's such a small town). we were in town for the polar express, which is amazing by the way. This is a cute little restaurant right on historic route 66. Nice list of local beers, try the double IPA - forget the name, but it's the local one. Went here during our Grand Canyon trip back in September. Right before we headed back to LA we wanted to try something different and yelp brought us to this place which is located near our hotel. We were here around 11am and obviously not many people are eating. We were greeted by a very nice waitress (forgot her name) and were seated right away. The place was nice and feels very Italian. We shared a delicious well-made Capre salad followed by delicious fettuccine Alfredo. Also had the five pour wine flight, Which was probably not as good as their 2013 super Tuscan might have been. Mama Mia! These guys served us one of the best Italian meals we've had at a restaurant! We ordered everything off menu and Chef ROCKED it--Antipasto, Chef Special Calzone, Hawaiian Pizza with Prosciutto and Homemade Tiramisu. Delish. We accidentally found Station 66 in 2018 when we were visiting Williams and Bearizona. We were so impressed by this Italian bistro! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. The staff were all incredibly personable and very helpful. The food -- lasagna, Romeo & Juliet wood-fired pizza, cheesy breadsticks, Greco salad -- were all fresh and delicious. Even the wine, which was locally made in AZ, was incredible! We had such a great experience back then that while we were driving from Chicago to LA this past weekend, we picked up a pizza to go to help get us back home. It was just as tasty as the first time we ate there. Any time we are in Williams, we will be stopping by Station 66! read more

We totally should have known better after coming from the barrel house that this would not be the best idea. Service at the barrel house was snail slow, but the food was good so we expected the same of here. The staff explained the owners were the same. After ordering, our drinks came quick. Awesome, but the food was cold. For $22 we expected a yummy fresh hot lasagna. I guess it was not fresh and reheated not quite long enough. The server promptly brought us a fresh one reinforcing the idea it was not fresh, but we were happy with the prompt service here. Quick tip: Yelp promotion they advertise does NOT work, more on that below. I will start with the positive. This place drew us in because it has a nice vibe, cool trendy bistro in the centre of town. Nice to sit on the patio at night. Now the rest. The pizza was pretty good, but I wouldn't rave about it. However, when you consider how pricy it is - I would not get it again, nor recommend it. I think if you're from a larger town, you probably have dozens of better pizzerias for half the price. Had this been it, I probably would've given this a good 3.5 stars, considering it's a smaller town, so the selection was limited. Unfortunately, the experience didn't end with the food. When I asked the server (who had been pleasant up until this point) about the offer they advertise on Yelp of 10% off for check-ins, she gave me a look that told me she didn't even know what Yelp was. It's fine if she wasn't aware of the special, I just politely asked her to check with a manager. She went to check, and left us waiting for a good 20 minutes. I had to approach her again, to which she replied "Oh, are you finally ready to settle the bill?" I told her that I was waiting for her to let me know about the promotion, and once again she gave me the confused look. Once I reminded her what it was, she said "Oh right, I checked with my manager and it's an old promotion". No apology for keeping us waiting, nothing. I simply told her that they need to update their page in that case. Not a nice way to finish off a meal or handle your own screw-ups. read more
