The sandwiches were served on fresh, crispy focaccia made in the brick oven. And they do NOT skimp on the ingredients. One of the best sandwiches I have had. Fresh pesto was also good. This place was AH-mazing! We came in here to grab food. Was passing by from Sedona to LA. ordered Mac and cheese and Brie tortellini and they were delicious! Comes with a side of bread for both dishes. Mac and cheese was a bit salty but with the tortellini it was great. I can't believe I was so lucky to run into this place! Station 66 was awesome! My family and I stopped here on our way home from Bearizona and it was soooo good. I Yelped restaurants close to our location and saw some pictures of the lasagna and I was hooked. We tried the cheesy bread for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. Then we all split a caprese salad and the lasagna of course. The lasagna was perfect for my wife and I to split and we also got a couple meatballs on the side. The meatballs and marinara sauce were so good and the inside of the restaurant is super comfortable. When we venture back to Williams, we will definitely stop in for some awesome Italian food! read more

This place is so strange. They spent a lot of energy and resources to make it cool. Everything inside seems designed with a purpose, like clever signs hanging around, funny writings on the bathroom doors, cool looking menus and that sort of thing. But they seem to have given no thought to the taste of the food or the service. Came here after a day at the Grand Canyon. Ordered a Salumeria pizza ($22) and the penne with pesto plus chicken add-on (15+4). None of it was good. Also, the pasta was delivered to the table 12 minutes before the pizza. So each of got a chance to sit and watch the other eat. When the waiter realized that the pasta arrived first without the pizza, he went back to the kitchen to check on pizza and returned to tell us that it would be at least 5 more minutes for the pizza and that he would give us a discount. (15%). Pesto: no flavor. So strange! It was the right color but had no flavor and was very watery. After tasting it, I went on yelp and saw that some others had the same opinion. Chicken was $4 add-on and there must have been maybe 5 cubes of chicken (1/2 inch cubes) total in the dish. Not worth it. The pesto was so watery that it dripped from the penne. Pizza: crust was decent. But it was mostly cheese, cheese and lots more cheese. The cheese was so thick. It was thicker than the crust and toppings. The entire center of the pizza was soggy from the grease of the pizza. Had to eat slices by rolling them up because they were too soggy to be eaten otherwise. Sauce either not existent or bad no flavor. I can get a $22 pizza from San Francisco that is remarkable. This was just sad. I think the trick to their success is that they likely rely and thrive off of one time customers coming from the Grand Canyon who will never return so they have no urgency to adjust their food to make it taste good. I went across the street to pine country something or other restaurant for chili because I was still hungry from the crust and toppings I ate at this place. read more

Went to The Station 66 today with two colleagues for a post-lunch cappuccino. Walked into the restaurant and up to the bar where we stood for about ten minutes without being acknowledged by the blonde girl behind the bar or the server with sunglasses behind his head who was walking aimlessly around the restaurant. While standing there, we saw a couple, who had not yet ordered, leave the restaurant after speaking with the girl behind the bar. They were clearly disappointed. As we were waiting, someone else walked in and the person behind the bar immediately asks them if he needed help. At that point, I asked whether or not we should have gone to the hostess stand versus the bar for service. The girl behind the bar literally looked at us, ignored us and once again asked the gentleman who walked in if he needed help. Honestly, I have never felt this type of disrespect at any restaurant I have ever been to. My only guess is they figure this is a very touristy area with little to no repeat business and customer service is not necessary. I often travel to Williams often for work, and needless to say, will not be returning to this establishment. Huge disappointment. read more

the famous route 66. looks like only a couple blocks of stores.. went here and got a margarita pizza and a pint of their craft beer. both were good. i especially like the vanilla flavor porter. pretty expensive.. its a tourist spot. the launching pad to grand canyon south rim... the damage was 20 for the pizza and 10 for the pint i think, total with tax and tip was around ~$35-40 read more

It was our lucky day when they wouldn't let us in and we wandered in to the 66 Bistro. We had pizza and it was one of the best I've had in some time. After a long day of being on an ATV adventure, we decided to try Station 66 Italian Bistro. We ordered wings, Fettuccine Alfredo, and pizza. All were delicious. The wings came with sauce on the side, so you could mix as much or as little as you want. Pizza is thin crust and cut wide. The food was ordered on-site and ready in less than 15 minutes. Ordered two pizzas and two pastas (to share of course not all for myself) and they were all great! The pizza was cooked great with slight char on the bottom. The fettuccine Alfredo tasted great. The lasagna was so bomb. Great portions for one. This isn't even mentioning their beer selection. A flight of beer offers you the chance to try every beer and all of them were solid. Didn't expect that much from a small town Italian restaurant. I would recommend their IPAs as they were all great. The service I was also great. No complaints across the board. The people were nice, the restaurant had a pleasant ambience but the food was so-so. Of course all we ordered was a pepperoni, sausage & jalapeño pizza to go with some cheese sticks.
