My sister and I heard about this place in Food Network Magazine the month before we were planning our Grand Canyon trip. We were hooked when we heard Italian food and rooftop dining! After 9 hours of driving we were so excited to arrive. The walk downtown to the restaurant was a lot of fun, too. Lots to see and do and we enjoyed taking lots of silly selfies along the way. I was excited to see that they had vegetarian options which of course is always a requirement for me. I had a salad and the bruschetta sampler and my sister had a margherita pizza. Everything was delicious and we ate it all. I also enjoyed sampling their beer. They also sell souvenir glasses with the beer so that was exciting. I always need more beer glasses. We are coming back this way this winter and I would like to be able to stop in and try something else. They have an extensive menu and there were a lot of other things I would like to try! read more

Stoped by after a day at the Grand Canyon for a very late lunch. Service was very fast got our salads in five minutes and pizzas in 10 or 15 max. The pizza was amazing - they use some homemade dough that's super light- tastes very similar to something you would get in Italy. We had the side salad & a Cesar which were good as well - Only feedback I might go a little lighter on the dressing on the Cesar Which I would ask for on my next visit. Stopped in here for lunch after reading the great reviews. Got the ziti with meat sauce. It came out cold in spots like the sauce was kept in the refrigerator and not properly heated up. I sent it back, and at least it came back warmish. Now the meat sauce was sweet, and way too heavy on the carrots which is probably the cause for the sweetness. The meat was a bit dog food like. The dish came with garlic bread. The garlic bread consisted of a small piece of pizza with no sauce or cheese. Basically just pizza dough. Could not taste any garlic. Now my wife had the lasagna which had the consistency of canned dog food. Taste was very average at best. My ziti was $18 and the lasagna was $22. Not exactly a value. Do not recommend. read more

I guess I should have trusted my Yelp instincts and went with the much raved Red Raven since I was not impressed by the food at the Italian Bistro. We ordered meatballs for our appetizer and shared a Romero and Juliet pizza. The meatball was dry and bland and the only thing that saved it was the spicy marinara sauce. The Romero and Juliet pizza was a good size for two people to share and the it was decent but not great. The place is nice and cozy but I expected better food. We ordered mac-n-cheese and Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The chicken was raw and it had no dressing to give it better flavor like they were cooked in boiled water with no seasoning and were dropped on top of each dish! The Mac & cheese was super cheesy and the Alfredo sauce needed more herbs to get better. Overall I was not happy with our food but I may give their Pizza a try if we get to pass that area again. You had to pay and tip up front which I didn't really think twice about until we received our pizzas an hour and 15 minutes after we ordered and it was cold. I understand they were busy but for wood fired pizza it should be piping hot. Isn't that the point of wood fired pizza. That was all we ordered too, one margarita and two cheese for the kids. When we got there it wasn't too busy either since we came as soon as they opened. It was super pricey and not worth it at all, especially with that exorbitant tip. I don't usually post reviews but I'm so upset over this one that I need to. First of all, we are here Memorial Day weekend. We stopped in after spending the day at the Grand Canyon. Stood in line to order our food and drinks at the bar. When I was given my credit card slip to sign they had several options for leaving a tip. I thought twice about it but tipped in advance anyway. Keep in mind this is before we got our food, drinks, anything. After quite a wait (no big deal, that's to be expected on Memorial Day weekend) we get two of our three items brought out. Our sons chicken strips were missing. So I tell the server that and he asks me if they were on the same ticket. Really??? Who orders only a kids food in a separate ticket? So he says he will go check for them and we asked for ketchup and ranch for our burgers and fries. We watch him go by and deliver several other orders - still no food for our son nor ketchup and ranch for us. About ten minutes later he walks out with another server to deliver the chicken strips while taking to another server and they are saying "whatever, it happens all the time". They weren't joking, because the table behind us had the same thing happen with a burger they ordered! I'm very understanding to mistakes, but when at this location beware of prepaying the tip! They don't care and they hold all of the cards for making it right. It ended up that they gave our sons food to another table, however the gal that made the mistake literally laughed about it as she stood next to our table and didn't even apologize. read more

Ceasar salad was good too. The so so: Mac and cheese was okay but loaded with salt. Beer flight, most was decent but not great. The bad The fettuccine was horrible. Dried, sauce less, hard. We had to send it back. Service: Server was nice and gave no problems with taking the fettuccine back and removing from bill. Wasn't excellent but not bad either. Historic, downtown Williams offers quite a few good dining establishments on old Route 66 and this place clearly stands out amongst them. Creative ambiance in a refurbished service station with a variety of seating options including rooftop & sidewalk seating (under cover by the gas pumps). The food is nicely presented and very tasty while their adult beverages tended to be local beers & wine, including pours made by the Grand Canyon Brewery located a block away. Despite being a cool looking establishment the food's clearly the star of the show. It was served efficiently by friendly wait staff who clearly wanted to enjoy conversation with their guests. Mary waited on us and she was exceptional, making appropriate recommendations as requested. My wife & I started with the flavorful cheese and meat plate containing a variety of olives, fine cheeses and dried apricots. For our main course we ordered the Prosciutto Pie which was out of this world! My wife said it was possibly the best specialty pizza she's ever tasted with the tasty riot of flavors: Ricotta, Parmesan, Gorgonzola & prosciutto topped with fresh (uncooked) arugula- amazing! My boys had the Meathead sandwich and the Frankie, both looked filling, meaty and were consumed with great alacrity. Everything exceeded expectations including the location, which was walking distance from other specialty shows in town. Go ahead and stop here when in the area. You won't be disappointed. read more

During this COVID-19 B.S. this place was open. We stopped for lunch the last two weekends while out on bike rides. The one poor guy working was busting his ass. We had several different types of pizza. All of them were good. Thinner crust than you get in most places, but perfect in content for us. You have to remember that you are in a tourist town, and the prices reflect that. If you go during this time of insanity, be patient. read more
