What a quaint coffee located right outside a house ranch! So unique and such a great space to read a good book or as I did, have a personal meeting! They have seasonal fall drinks at the moment and I went ahead and gave the hot apple cider a go and it warms the soul!! The perfect drink for a chilly afternoon. They also had pumpkin and a couple other options that I thought were very unique! The pastries looked scrumptious and I'll have to bring my mom back just for the views alone!!! Perfect coffee shop! (Loved the sign inside!)

A super cute cafe to add to my regular rotation in the greater Kansas City area. The Shawnee locals seem to be truly loving this place. It was packed at 10am on a Sunday morning and even with the colder weather people were enjoying the ample outdoor space! The staff were super warm and friendly. They won me over with their recommendations, their generosity (all tips this weekend are going to Harvesters!) and reward program (punch cards are a classic). The menu was pretty standard but they have a seasonal menu and an additional holiday/events menu (specials for Halloween and Christmas to lure people away from their regular orders). I got a fall menu drink: the French Toast Latte and then a bacon breakfast burrito, both were excellent. Overall I'm excited that I tried this place and can't wait to come back again soon!

It's a cute place. Very peaceful and nice in the morning. The breakfast burrito was great. Also have outside patio.

Cold today. It I bet this area is fire once it warm out

Cool coffee shop with a ton of outdoor seating. It a cold day today but the coffee was hot. This spot made a decent Breve. It was hit and fresh with silky smooth foam. I ordered a large but should have gotten a small or an extra shot (or two). My drink was much more milk than espresso but it did have good flavor. The beans are a good roast with no bitterness. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of merch available. Cups are compostable... if that is important to you. The dining area was packed on this cold Saturday morning but I'll be back to enjoy a cup with a pastry out on the patio area once the temps warm up.

Love this coffee shop, so cozy yet upscale in its way. Nicely appointed outside patio with colorful chairs, patio umbrellas, corn hole area. Even recycle and trash receptacles conveniently available a few steps from Entrance but cleanly maintained and labeled. Inside is an area to the right where there's a restroom and several tables and chairs where you can quietly work or read or just about escape. The order counter had display of pastries and cookies. There are menu on the wall behind the counter and more syrup and refresher drinks selections displayed on the counter. I got a can of DRAM citrus and blossoms sparkling water and ordered a hot honey lavender latte. It was tad too sweet for my liking but not enough to take away from the 5 stars that am giving for the ambiance and staff service.

If you blink you might miss this location, but it is worth the stop. Surprisingly there is a lot of space inside. However when you read the history of the building it make a lot of sense, Dating back to the 1930's when the building was build as a gas station, In 1971 it was Shawnee Fire Station #3 and then finally in 2024 it was turned into what is it currently used for The Station 3 Coffee Shop. My drink had a lot of flavor and was definitely what I was needing that morning.

Good coffee. Great pastries. Friendly service. Loved the outdoor seating. There is a smaller indoor seating area too. A former firehouse turned coffee shop making it a very unique experience.

This coffee shop is housed in an old fire station in Shawnee, Ks . This coffee shop is a great place to visit as it has a large outside patio for the warmer months in Mar-Oct limited seating inside . Coffee and food item are available. There are local artists art on view and available for purchase.

Lavender latte with oat milk. Chorizo burrito from Scratch Bakery

Went for the first time last Saturday morning at 930am. It was a beautiful day and they were very busy. There was also some post-race traffic so that may have factored in. I would say about half of those in line stayed and the others ordered to go. There is an inside and outside seating area. The tables inside are pretty small and the tables outside vary with one big one available. The outside is beautiful and I recommended finding a seat in the garden area. They have lots of coffee and food options. The bakery goods and burritos are from Scratch Bakery. Good but not made on site. The staff were very busy and I don't think they were prepared for the traffic. I ordered the lavender latte with oat milk. The coffee was good but I felt the oat milk was a heavy pour and overpowered it a bit. The chorizo burrito was great as I've had those before. Overall a decent experience. If I am back in the area, I would go again.

Solid new coffee stop in western JoCo!

Western Shawnee has some wide open spaces. Some of that space gets filled with housing; some gets filled with small businesses like Station 3. And Station 3 is bringing a stellar coffee game to those spaces with the vibe of a west coast kaffehaus. For starters, out here there are plenty of coffee options. You know, Seattle and the like, but not much in the way of locally-owned spots. Housed in a former firehouse and overlooking a small equestrian space, Station 3 has found a home. Their patio area is very nice, a few tables or Adirondacks spaced nicely, and the inside has enough seating (with WiFi!) to accommodate a few folks. But if weather allows and you're staying, then outside is the jam. The coffee is their own blend, strong and nutty, and holds up perfectly in their beverages. Their menu is a bit smaller but focused and the options for almost anyone still exist. Whether you like your drink hot or iced, there are lattes, Americanos, tea drinks and more to marry up with their pastry selection. The food comes courtesy of Scratch Bakery and tends to rotate, so you might find some seasonal choices as you progress with the sun cycles. Parking is plentiful, even though you abut the main road that leads to Station 3. But there is a private lot, adorned by a lovely mural on the west side of the building, with lots of space. If you've spent much time in these stretches of western JoCo, then you know how nice it is to have something close by instead of trekking inside the loop or further for great coffee. Station 3 has the makings of a mainstay and it's local for denizens of the western part of the metro.

Shhhh don't blow up this spot but keep it just popular enough to do great business! This is a fantastic little gem tucked away off of Midland and SM parkway. Small and cozy with excellent espresso and a clean, bright atmosphere perfect for reading, studying, or a good chat. No mugs or glasses, but compostable cups are a good consolation. The outdoor seating is also plentiful on a nice day and the bathrooms, while not usually a factor for coffee shops, are incredibly nice. Serving up Hammerhand is another win in my book!

Super cute place with fabulous drink options and flavors. I had a salted caramel mocha that was delicious. Clean bathrooms and free internet. The only comment I have is that their gluten free pastry was touching the gluten pastries. It should be stored separately so there isn't cross contamination. I would have bought one if it were separate.

My wife and I are building a new home in this area and we've been trying to hit some local spots. I think we hit gold with Station 3. The setting alone was worth the visit.. Nice to find a local spot with great coffee and character.

I was standing behind a woman that was already placing her order and I noticed how rude that the barista was to the woman that was ordering. She finished her order and then I stepped up and she was completely rude to me also. Absolutely no reason for the treatment that either one of us received. I ordered two of my grandkids their refresher drinks, and then I ordered mine. She was so rude that I made a mental note to look at her name tag, her name was Kierra. I sat down and waited for the drinks. Two kids came in right after me and made it their order which was three drinks. My grandkids refreshers came out first and they enjoyed them. But then other people's orders that came afterwards came out before mine. I had to walk up to the counter and ask where my cold brew was. Sat down again and waited for it and finally it came out. It was actually terrible, I go to another Starbucks location often and that same drink is excellent there. This drink was extremely dark and the coffee almost tasted burnt. The place was generally a mess and none of the workers were particularly friendly. It's a casual atmosphere, but not friendly! I will not be going again.

You are definitely paying premium for your drink but especially the baked goods as their bread is all made in house by Ibis Bakery. Now more than one barista helped me review the massive menu. Payton ended up taking my order: CBS with MIXED GREENS, MATCHA TEA and a MUDSLIDE made with SOY MILK! The space is very large with multiple seating areas, quiet corners, plenty of open dining and enclosed room dining as well. It has a walkthrough to the bakery side along with mini store selling cups, Messner Farms merchandise and more. Now I really enjoyed my CBS: marinated chicken, bacon, red onion, cheddar cheese, tomato and chipotle mayo on brioche potato roll.. sounds pretty good huh! It was devine! Those combined ingredients made for one of the best chicken sandwiches hot or cold (because I could finish it in one sitting) I've had! Now I picked at the chicken solo and it didn't have too much flavor but as a sandwich everything comes together well! I wasn't too impressed with the Mudslide.. it was dreary, no hit of chocolate or creme so I'm not sure what it was supposed to be. My mom said the match with honey syrup was decent. Everything for the price definitely ensured my only trip.

This local spot is located in the little historic Lenexa downtown, which is itself somewhat hidden away now that the Lenexa Public Market is open and draws folks that way. Coming to this stretch of suburbia feels charming and quaint, and I love that there is a really fantastic local coffee shop nestled into this shopping center. Now onto what makes this place so special. There are tons of great cafes in Kansas City, but what sets Maps apart from the pack is that they roast their own beans in house and they are all super fresh. You can taste the difference in the brew and it's a nice change of pace to have something a bit different since many of the local spots in town use the same local roasters. Once you find out about Maps you'll start to notice other cafes and restaurants that use their beans. It's not as many as say, Messenger, but Maps holds their own in this arena. They also make their own chocolate! And when I say make, I mean make. They actually make the chocolate bars and not just the candies. Even more impressive, it's damn good chocolate. Honestly, if you haven't been to this spot and have a love for coffee and/or chocolate it's well worth a visit. The cherry on top for me is how unpretentious the entire place is. You'll feel welcome, and the staff working will be happy to chat your ears off about their products. 5/5 for me!
