Stopped in to grab a coffee and a muffin since I was in the area, Staff was friendly and helpful. They do offer sandwiches and more as well. Coffee had a smooth flavor. There is a lot of room and plenty of tables. Only negative I had was either they were roasting beans or someone had burnt some food, because there was a smokiness in the shop. This is a very popular community gathering place and unique coffee shop in old downtown Bonner Springs. A lady at another coffee shop recommended this place. Said the vibe is very nice. The vibe is indeed different - open space seating with larger couches and table towards the back. There is a nook with bookcase as well. Merchandise includes baseball caps with the Third Space name/logo; they even have baby onesies! The drive from my Lenexa KS hotel to Bonner Springs where this coffee shop is located was very scenic, took 45 minutes at 8:30am on a weekday, along one lane countryside rolling roads. Just what I needed for an introspective drive before leaving for the airport after 8 days stay in Kansas. This trip is my first to see a midwestern state, and am glad it couldn't have been better than Kansas. I love it here, I now know why my boyfriend Matt Dz*****z was born and raised to be such a wonderful downright gentleman. Third Space (which I found out was aptly named to mean third space aside from your family, your school/close institution) coffee shop has the offerings of really great coffee concoctions. I had an iced pumpkin spice with foam latte. It was as delicious as it looked. I also ordered their sausage, cheese and potato burrito. It was served hot albeit I got it to go. Needing a close place to work near my parents, I stopped in Third Space in the afternoon and grabbed an iced caramel latte and a Turkey Avocado Melt. This sandwich was the perfect mix of turkey, bacon, pepperjack, spring mix, avocado, tomato, onion, mayo and honey mustard. The atmosphere has plenty of places to work or to lounge and have good conversations or curl up with a book. I did notice there were not a lot of spots next to outlets, so if there is a good amount of people, it could be hard to work (I lucked out and someone left as I circled back around). The coffee was okay, but the mix wasn't quite as smooth as I like, but still good. The sandwich was the show stealer. I usually don't get super excited about a sandwich, but that one was exceptional. read more

I was greeted warmly by the staff and found a nice cushy armchair to read my books in while I enjoyed my sugar-free oat milk latte. I visited Third Space Coffee after hours during a KC Influencer Meet-Up and I was overly enjoyed with how cute this coffee shop is in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Although every single food item that I tried tasted amazing, my favorite was the Ham & Cheddar Croissant. My favorite desserts that I tried at Third Space Coffee were the Chocolate Croissant and the S'mores Bar. The buttery and flakey croissant is loaded with the perfect amount chocolate chip. The S'mores Bar was chewy but soft and packed with marshmallow fluff and chocolate. You can't go wrong ordering any of the coffee options either. Our summer intern recommended this coffee shop. So I made the drive up to Bonner Springs and had one of the most delicious homemade cinnamon rolls and cold brew. What an impressive place in Bonner Springs. It is very spacious and the baristas really seem to care about the people and the place. We got here just at eleven in the morning, and were only able to enjoy an orange cranberry muffin with a coffee for our late breakfast as they stop serving at eleven and switch to lunch. So, my husband and I decided to stay a while for lunch, and were glad that we did. We both enjoyed the Chicken Philly sandwich. I wished that I had remembered to take a photo of the sandwich because elsewhere someone posted an image and the bread looked like toasted sourdough, what this one was made with was a baguette or Italian roll, which was still very good. I enjoyed the sauce that came with it. I highly recommend the potato salad too, it was very good. I'm glad that we hung out here for a while, as we both enjoyed an iced latte with bourbon apple sauce, with a tad bit of cinnamon, and this was delightful. read more

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the music. People were constantly in and out ordering. Food came out fresh and piping hot! I ordered the sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit - with breakfast potatoes. I'm not sure the breakfast potatoes were supposed to have been cooked this way - looking at all the other photos...but mine had been cooked with onions and almost an Indian cinnamon spice on them. This place had some of my favorite coffee that I've had the whole summer. Being in Drum Corps, we would walk to many places over the entire country that were near our housing sites and this place was really one of the favorites. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful and gave me a very great suggestion on what to get (salted caramel white mocha, i'm not sure I remember the cold foam flavor but it was so good). All is WOW good here this morning for a drink and food experience. Is fun. Really nice restoration in old downtown. The best! The Toast is unusual version. Amazing grainy bread toast, made in-house, crunchy peanut butter is something different and possibly made in-house also, real honey, sliced bananas...really good. Third Space Coffee was a surprising treat to find in downtown Bonner Springs. We were nearby and searched for a coffee shop still open on a late Saturday afternoon and... voila. Decorated in a farmhouse/country cabin chic with lots of holiday accents being late December. Lots of nooks and tables to unwind and slow down and enjoy a great brew. The cortado that I ordered was smooth and served with the often overlooked glass of seltzer water and a spoonful of chocolate covered espresso beans. What a comfy and cozy vibe! It was love at first sight. The interior invites visitors to stay long and order coffee after coffee. The décor is industrial modern, but with none of the snooty hipster touch. The menu is varied and features homemade syrups. On this day, the cardamom, and spiced vanilla flavors caught my eye. I ordered a double latte, and it was the perfect balance of toasty coffee beans and warm sweetness. The staff is very nice and accommodates every request with batting an eye. A nice touch was the artwork that hangs on the walls. I will be back for at least two paintings, and another coffee or two. It has a thick texture of sweet, cinnamon coffee. Also if you're like me and often aren't fond of that much sugar in the morning, they recommend to cut in their house cold brew. I tried out Third Space Coffee for the first time today, while I was killing some time in Bonner Springs. This little coffee shop gets 5 stars for the seating and environment alone. I go to so many coffee shops that have quality stuff, but the seating is cold and uncomfortable. A coffee shop should NOT just have tables and chairs. Third Space has a couch, several high tops with assorted barstools and benches, regular tables, booth tables, rocking chairs, group tables, and more. My favorite is the wall desk looking out the back window with 2 cushioned bar stools. They also have a kids section with some toys and a mini picnic table. I actually feel comfortable hanging out in here and working, and that makes this place a gem. I ordered a Cafe Mocha, and it was delicious. Props to them for using Messenger Espresso. The prices are decent, with this cup being $4 for 12 oz. They also have a pretty robust food menu, although I didn't order anything this time. The wifi is open and free. There were a few disconnection/speed issues, but I won't judge too harshly this first time. The only unpleasant thing about this visit was a woman at a nearby table listening to a Christian sermon at full volume. Pretty distracting! :) Definitely will come here again if I'm in the area. read more

I recently started as the farmers market coordinator in bonner springs. I came in here for a meeting, and now every time I come into town I feel like I need to stop. I love the vibes in here. And the owner is extremely nice and friendly. The coffee is delicious, flavorful, and not watery. Everything mixes perfectly. I've tried a few things on the menu, a sandwich and a Buffalo chicken wrap. But my chosen side is always the chicken and wild rice soup. It's delicious. I can't seem to get enough of it, and even writing this review makes me want to go get some. Downtown Bonner + hip/shabby chic kaffehaus? Of course! Don't all small metropolis-edge towns have this? Spacious, inviting, and conversationally friendly - this makes for a great coffee place. And in an old, repurposed building with stamped tin on the ceiling? Yes. And please. Portion sizes are very generous for prepared breakfasts, and the coffee and 'not coffee' selections are pretty standard (not an overwhelming menu). Baked goods are fresh and super tasty (peach muffin killed) and while I didn't try the lunch paninis, they are totally calling for me to come back again. Five stars for the fact that this is in a small town downtown. Five again for atmosphere and decor. Five for tastes and variety. And maybe four for pricing, but still, it is a great place! read more

I cannot think of one negative thing to say about this place. I was already amazed by Third Space's perfection then the owner happened to be there that morning and I chatted with her for some time and found that Third Space goes even beyond amazing. She has worked both ends of the coffee house spectrum; a non profit to Starbucks. She gathered her knowledge and opened Third Space. The craftsmanship in itself is worth the trip if you aren't close. There are so many different nooks in this place you are sure to find the perfect for your mood that day. They even have a kids space. Love that, people are going to bring their kids to coffee shops whether they are inviting to them or not so you might as well offer them something to do to keep them entertained. The space is clean and organized as well with courtesy guidelines posted. There are plenty of outlets so you can work from here and recharge as needed. They have two stations to get what you need for your coffee and two restrooms keeping the place moving and not crowded. Everything is spaced well so you never feel on-top of someone else. You can see the kitchen from the order counter, love that so you can see your food is prepared from scratch in house. The coffee is Messenger and they brew it properly. Cold brew is smooth as well. The Breakfast bites are breakfast sandwiches. They are just like you made them at home and they are again made as you order so it takes longer but it is worth it and there is plenty to look at while you wait. The veggie bite is eggs filled with fresh crisp chopped veggies and served on delicious bread. This place is perfection. Everyone works as a team and work to learn your name. It truly is a third space for all. That was the owner's intent, to make all welcome and in my opinion she has done just that. The prices are just right as well. read more
