I've been going here for about 5 years. The staff is very friendly and seems to know most of their customers by name. They do a good job at doing what needs to be done. In as long as I've been going here I've maybe had 1 broken button, and they were very helpful with getting it fixed. They are also awesome with alterations. Quick turnaround. Good prices. read more

This place is sad. I dropped of clothing to be washed and starched and came to pick them up. They were not starched properly, they had wrinkles, and so much lint over the clothing that I had to go home and re iron each clothing. They need to shut down because they don't know how to clean or starch clothing. Please do not waste your time and energy here, the owner will not help the situation read more

A very nice experience and old school mom and pops shop. They still only take CASH!!!! so that's a hold up but they do great work and it's cheap compared to other places. I recommend and probably will go back more to give a more accurate review I only had 2 white dress shirts to do with minimal staining like collar and wrist couldn't tell you if major work can be handled by them like wine or alteration accuracy. Just recently went here this week. This was my first time here. I had two dress pants that both needed the bottom of the legs to be hemmed. They laundered and dry cleaned it. Total cost was $19 and some change. I've never gotten anything hemmed so I don't know if that is pricey or not. But the work looks professional and it looks like they did a great job. Never again will I use this place I don't even think they deserve one star. So I dropped of my hubbys jeans for the first time and asked for LIGHT starch. When I picked them up two days later they were dipped in starch and completely stiff definitely not light. When I told the same Asian man that that was not what I asked for he said that was light starch. You definitely get what you paid for I will go back to my old cleaners and pay more $$$ but will get what I asked for. read more

When I invest my money (in anything) I expect decent professional respectful customer service. It's kind of the American golden rule in order to have a successful business. While this place might or might not be a half decent dry cleaners(haven't decided yet) they certainly have no education on how to be professional. Although I would love to go into detail about my horrible experience here, I still get stirred up just thinking about it and it would cause this review to be much longer than it needs to be. But If you don't mind the staff raising their voices at you and treating you very rudely and also not responding for their mistakes then I don't think you'll have a problem with this place. Just know that leaving your clothes here is a risk itself because if they happen to ruin your clothes then they will make an excuse as to why they are not responsible. Be careful and always check your clothes before leaving the store. Also Pro Tip: If you want to pick up some take out from next door by all means Do Not park in the owners dear parking spots(that currently have no sign reserving each parking spot for each business) or she will harass you and follow you into that business telling you to move your car and telling the manager of the restaurant to move his car in order to give that spot to a customer. If she wants to be that strict and control who parks in front of her business then she needs to put up a sign that says so. Can't expect to yell and harass each person who does. I saw her yell at 3 other people who tried parking in the same spot. read more

The service is very disappointed and very rude to customer. They ruined one of my skirt. When I picked it up, I saw 4 marks of blue ballpoint tip on the skirt. Not only that, the dry clean plastic bag also has the same mark and the location matched where it stained the skirt. There are couple spots where it punctured the plastic and that's when it stained the fabric. I pointed that out to the lady and after a bit argument they took it for a redo. When I picked it up, most of the ballpoint tips are gone, two still left. So, I asked for another redo and they said they can't. I pointed it out that someone from the store did this and they of course denied it, saying that they do not possess a blue pen that could stain the fabric. The lady yelled and rudely pointed out that they only use black pens in the whole store. Needless to say, that I don't have the proof/ carry that dry clean bag which has that puncture, and I was just wasting my time arguing with them about it. So, .. I won't go back to that place again and hopefully it won't happen to other customer. Just beware of this place. Obviously, it's not uncommon to have clothes ruined by a dry cleaners. It had appened to me before, and it was part of the risk. However, they don't have to be rude and start yelling to the customer. This is the part which is not acceptable. read more

This was one of the best cleaners I've been to in a long while. The reason i feel it is the best is because I had shirts dry cleaned and the shirts returned with no melted or broken buttons. This is a huge accomplishment. Pick up is quick, painless and very easy. read more

Ok so I don't usually post rants but I'm soooo mad right now. Last week I stopped by a dry cleaners place on mason called stars cleaners right next to Panda Express and I had 3 pants, one needed hemming one had slime and one was ripped near the zipper. The man inside said he could do it and I told him if you can't it's ok I'll figure it out. But he said he'll do it and charged me $6 for each pair of pants. So I paid a total of almost 20$. Today I went to pick it up and I checked the pants that had slime and it was gone and the gemming was fixed but the rip was really bad. The stitching was showing horribly and I couldn't take that back home for my husband to wear. So I calmly tell the lady hey this isn't right I spoke to a man last week and I told him if he can't do it then don't. And she started telling me the fabric ripped and she had to patch it. Anyways to me it was unacceptable... I paid you for a service that I didn't get. So I tell the lady no I want my money back on this pair of pants, so after calling the man she gives me $6 and I take the clothes and walk back to my car. I notice that the pair of pants that was ripped wasn't with them so I go back into the store and tell the lady excuse me ma'am you have the pants and she said I'm not giving it back to you I have you the 6 dollars and the pants were in the TRASH!!!. Now I'm furious... and I say no ma'am I paid you for service that you didn't do not for the pants. Btw the pants were Perry Ellis suit pants and worth more than $6. But she refused to give me the pants and at this point I didn't give a crap about the money I wanted the pants.... so I pull out the $6 dollars and try to give it to her but I told her to give me the pants then I'll give her the money because the lady was crazy. There was another customer in the store who at this point told the lady to give me the pants and she still refused so out of my anger I threw the money and said please give me the pants. She told me I had to PICK UP the money off the floor and we went back and fourth about this and I just couldn't take it I had to get home to my kids and couldn't deal with it so I jump behind the counter and try to give her the money and she told me to go around the counter. At this point I wanted to call the police because she was crazy and I just couldn't handle it anymore. But I ended up going around and giving her the money but I got my husbands pants back and I took a video of her calling ME a criminal lmao I'm done for the day!!! read more

I am really impressed by this dry cleaners. They'll tell you to pick the dry cleaning up in a few days but the shirts are only $.99. I told the lady that there was a stain on my shirt...she put a tag on it, and from past experiences, I thought that was just a formality and she was not going to do anythign about it. Customer service is horrible! They will not listen to you if they ruin your clothing. They will come up with some sort of excuse as to why it happen. I've been going to them for years and never had an issue before until today. They did a horrible job cleaning my white shirts and I politely asked if they could redo them but they said there was nothing they could do. They also told me the stains were from wearing the shirts multiple times but I only wore them once since I bought them. KEEP YOUR MONEY! There are plenty of other great cleaners in the Katy area. This is the worst dry cleaners I have ever been too! I brought in a shirt to be cleaned and they put an ink spot on it. The owner blamed me and would not redo the garment nor give my money back. DON'T EVER USE THIS CLEANER!! I took 4 new white shirts in to get them pressed and they stained and ruined all four. When I took it back to have them fix it, the older lady there told me I was a liar and that they were already there on the front and back of all four of my shirts. Truth be told the marks were from the iron. That brown stained look that they burnt into the shirts. Will never go there again. Id advise anyone not to go either. I have been going to this business for a long time and today I took a cardigan out from the bag the put dry cleaned items in and took the tag off. When I put it on I noticed a good size hole that was not there when I took it to the cleaners. When I went there so speak with them and see if they could either try and fix it or refund for the shirt they said it was wear and tear and that it was already there when I dropped it off I must've just not noticed it. I take clothes there that are expensive and spend at least $50 every time I go. They did not try in anyway to fix the problem so I will no longer be going to them. When you take items you expect them to be careful with your clothing and for them to not be returned damaged. read more

Stars Cleaners located at 534 S. Mason Rd. Katy, Texas 77450 is operated by a swindler. I have been frequenting this particular dry cleaner for approximately 9 months. I bring in clothes about twice a month. Every time I pick up my clothes I casually give my clothes a once over just to ensure that there are no burns. It has happened to me in the past and I am sure that it will happen to me again. Upon picking up my clothes today (4/24/13) I inspected my clothes as I always do since I do not wear cheap clothes. I noticed on the first pair of pants that I inspected had several burn marks that had gone all the way through the pants and had left holes on the inner calf of one of the legs. This particular pair of pants retails for approximately $250.00. I brought this to the attention of the cashier who took the pants to the back to consult with a manager. That manager came to the front of the store to speak with me and rudely insisted that there was no way it could have happened there at the store. I asked where else it could have happened since when I brought them in they were not in that condition. The manager insisted that I was to blame since I had inspected my product before leaving the store, implying that I had known about the burn before I had brought them in and I was trying to recoup my money through him. I responded that there was no way that could have happened since I do not iron or wash/dry these clothes ever, they are always brought to the same dry cleaners, his dry cleaner. He insisted that since I had inspected the clothes I had known prior, even though the store has a sign that clearly states that every customer must inspect their clothes prior to leaving or they cannot be returned for damages. I pointed this out and the owner but he insisted that I was still to blame. He then proceeded to ring me up for the balance that I owed him. I considered walking out without paying but decided against it because the other items I had there were done correctly. I instead paid for everything except the ruined pants being the type of person that I am. It is obvious that Stars Cleaners is not operated by an honorable person and I would recommend that anyone considering the use of this establishment quickly change their mind and go somewhere else. Otherwise your clothes are likely to be burned and you will find no help from the staff. read more

I've been a customer for 15 years and although I had broken buttons in shirts and stains in some pants, I still brought my clothes to this place. On March 2014, I brought a brand new dress ($150.00) from White House Black Market that I wanted to wear for Easter. When I picked up my clothes I noticed the dress which was in perfect condition when I brought it had several patches or fuzz or pilling. I brought it back and I was told that it was impossible that they coud've done that. They still took it back to "FIX IT" I never received a call or apology. I went to pick it up weeks later, and this time the "Manager" a very rude older asian man, told me with a smile on his face that there is no way that they could have possibly made that. Insinuating that I brought my dress in that shape! I told him I had been a loyal customer for 15 years!!! and even though I had missing buttons on shirts in the past, I still kept bringing my clothes to his shop with no complaints. No matter what I could say to this man, he still had a smirk with no worry whatsoever for the customer! Customer Service = F!!! I'm never bringing my clothes to this place, and I will definitely learn from this experience. read more
