I brought my favorite dress here only for them to ruin it. Worn only once for a family photoshoot, I brought it in to get a stain cleaned. When I went to pick it up, I noticed that one section of the pleats looked like it had been steamed or pressed completely flat. As in, my pleated dress came back to me with a section of pleats missing. When I pointed it out, they said they would send it back to get it fixed. I came back to pick it up and once again, they did not fix it. The fact that they were about to let me walk out of there without telling me that the dress was ruined tells me everything I need to know about this business. I had to request to speak to the owner to find out what happened. While he was apologetic and offered to compensate me for the dress, the entire experience ruined the business for me. Be warned - they will ruin your clothes, they won't be up front about whether or not they can clean something properly without ruining it, and then they will avoid the issue unless you bring it up. Run from this place. read more

DO not take your shoes here for cleaning, I totally got ripped off here! I spent $189.42 to get my 7 pairs of shoes cleaned (4 leather sneakers and 3 suede oxfords) and they did a very poor job (see pics). When the shoes were ready for pick up I was lied to that they all look brand new with the exception of the brown suede shoes. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The white shoes are still dirty and look pretty much the same when dropped off. The navy suede shoes also still look the same when dropped off. read more

My wife has a porcelain bride doll that was given to her by my mother years ago. It was in the closet of our apartment...and the roof leaked. We didn't even realize it for a while. When we did realize it, months had passed. The once white dress had big splotches of brown. We just moved into this area, and I saw Zesty Cleaners there, so I took the doll in. Obviously, this is not your average cleaning job. Well, they sent it to a specialist, he handled it overnight, and they called me the next day to say it was ready. End result: there is still a tiny amount of brown on some of the hem, but it is hardly visible. It turned out a lot better than I expected. They were quick, professional, and careful. They even had to cut the dress off and then sew it back again. Would I go again? Yes. Yes, I would. read more

Excellent service! Even tactfully advised AGAINST taking our vintage clothes b/c they might not survive the cleaning process & would be VERY expensive. Not pleased with service for alteration or sewing....though I communicated my issue of a down coat needing a small section re-stuffed and a seam repaired I was advised to bring the coat to cleaners. A day later, I was advised the seamstress was allergic to feathers! Could've saved an enormous amount of time, with drop off and pick up, very disappointed. read more

Friendly service and clothes came out nicely. We don't normally use cleaners, but we are glad they are great and will go to them in the future. When we dropped off the clothes, the very nice and inviting woman was helpful when it came to different options for each types of clothing. Highly recommend! Love them! I feel like they take care of my clothes as if they where their own. Super friendly and helpful. Once I had trouble with my car and while I waited on help to arrive the owner came out in the rain with an umbrella for me to use and tried to help me figure out what was wrong- they are great people, can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

We switched to Zesty after using MW for a few years and I'm just sad I didn't switch earlier. They are more organized, personable and the prices are much more reasonable. I also haven't had any lost items, which happened at MW a few times. Highly recommend. read more

I've been looking for a dry cleaners closer to home. While this place has prices that are slightly more than I'd like to spend the kind staff and great customer service makes it ok. When I got it back the second time, it had been burned. The lack of communication, failure to honor what was promised, and damage to my item made this a terrible experience. I definitely won't be returning, and I can't recommend this business.

I brought in a beautiful, beaded sari choli (a fitted, structured top worn with a sari) that was several sizes too large and needed to be taken in for an upcoming wedding. During my initial visit, I tried to explain the fit I was looking for, but the staff member did not take the time to properly assess the garment. She looked at it from a distance while I was wearing it and told me it didn't need alterations, without coming over to examine the fit. Only after I asked her to take a closer look did she briefly pinch the sides and agree to take it in, while still insisting the shoulders were fine. Nothing was pinned, and when I asked if she understood how much to adjust, she simply said, "yes, I know." I later received a message that the garment was ready ahead of schedule. When I came in to pick it up, I almost didn't try it on, but I'm glad I did! The shoulders were still very loose and had not been adjusted. The sides were stitched in, bulky, and hastily done, but my primary concern was that the garment was still ill-fitting and loose. The original tailor that I encountered upon drop-off was not there and another tailor stepped in, properly assessed the fit, and pinned approximately 1 inch on each shoulder, something that should have been done correctly from the beginning. I then had to leave the garment again. The revised pickup timeline was not met, and when I called, I was told I would need to pay additional fees for work that should have been identified and completed properly the first time. During that call (with the original tailor), I was repeatedly interrupted. At one point I was told, "can I talk?" and "are you finished?" before I had completed a sentence. I responded, "No, you can't talk. I'm the customer and I'm trying to explain where this went wrong." After that, there was a pause and she gave the illusion of listening, but I was again asked, "are you done yet?" which shocked me to the core. It wasn't until I became audibly upset and tearful, that her tone changed, she became concerned. She then said, "Don't cry. I'll fix it! I need my customers to be happy," and offered to have it ready within 30 minutes. The shift in how I was treated in that moment was significant. I do want to note that my experience was not consistent across all staff. However, from a workmanship standpoint, this garment required significant size reduction. In my experience, pieces this oversized typically need to be properly reduced and reshaped, not simply taken in at the seams. The final result feels like excess fabric was left rather than fully restructured, which affects both the comfort and overall fit. The interior finishing is also rough, and the shoulder adjustments appear bulky rather than seamlessly tailored. I've included photos for reference. I chose this place based on its strong reviews, which makes this experience even more surprising. I can honestly say this ranks among the poorest customer service I've ever received. The pattern of dismissiveness, the shift in tone, and the less than acceptable craftsmanship I experienced raised concerns for me about bias in how I was treated. I so regret that I did not use my regular tailor across town. I will not be returning.

The bigger washers start at $8.75 for a regular wash and go to $9.55 if you want to add an extra wash. The regular size washers are $6.75, the bigger dryers are $2.10, and the regular dryers are $1.60. You need to load up a laundry card to get the machines to work, but it's super convenient that you don't need quarters. You can pay with Apple Pay/card, EBT, or cash. Note that it's $1 for the card (I think). They also have a bill breaker. I would definitely recommend it here!

I can't say enough good things about Zesty Cleaners! They truly went above and beyond for me during a difficult time. While my son was in the hospital, I had an important work event on a Sunday and couldn't pick up my clothes on Saturday. I was completely tied up and feeling overwhelmed. The owner stepped in and told me not to worry--he personally delivered my clothes to my house so they'd be there waiting for me. That kind of customer service is so rare these days!
