I just got back my Cuban guayaveras and I kid you not, they were so clean I did not think they were mine. I brought that up, but the tag had my name and looking closer it was absolutely pristine. I've experienced truly poor service each of the 4-5 times I had visited and I have been nothing but super kind and patient every time. I once dropped a pair of pants of for a simple repair of a small tear. i was told it would take up to 10 days. 3-4 visits later without a single complaint nor even a dissatisfied look on my face.... always smiles .... I got the pants back in ***5 WEEKS*** Upon collect pants that had been dropped off 6/26 on 8/4 I still spoke a word of complaint ___________________ On latest visit, to say that my kindness and stoic like patience was not returned would be a tremendous understatement. Upon visiting to retrieve clothes without a ticket I provided my phone number and was asked for ID to collect (something I've never been asked by other cleaners even when without a ticket, but I can understand this request). ...as I'm standing there the man asks me if I've already paid for the cleaning. I say "I'm not sure, have I?" He responds "okay that'll be $15.90". To be sure... just a quick and polite follow-up question **as I'm pulling my debit card out** I ask: "you're sure I haven't paid right, that's what your records show?" Well for some reason that one follow-up question caused a total freak out from this man. He kept telling me over an over about how I was doubting his service and saying very abrasively and rudely "I'm trying to help you and your doubting my service" He kept saying phrases like that over and over and more about "you come in here without your ticket and I'm trying to help you" For no reason this man took our encounter from a 0 to a level 8 and in the middle of it another customer walks in. All while i was just standing there like a deer in headlights for some reason essentially apologizing to HIM for simply asking if his screen shows that I haven't paid.... once... I asked that ONCE He essentially refused to answer the simple question while still repeatedly running through phrases like "I'm trying to help you..." as I practically have my hands in the air in a "calm down sir" fashion cuz now he's not even reaching for the debit card I've placed on his counter. ...meanwhile I'm embarrassed in front of this other lady as I look like I'm the one being nasty. I was seriously dumbfounded as essentially my question to him was inspired by HIS "have you already paid?" Question to me. If he was so sure I hadn't paid and had the info right in front of him on his screen the entire time this is all happening WHY did he ask me "have you paid?" In the first place? Im convinced this guy was essentially looking for a reason to fight and inspire me to be rude and fight in return. I don't think he wants my patronage, and yes, im sorry, but as a black guy, I can't help but **wonder** if my appearance was part of his issue and why he was going down this confrontational path so quickly. I'm proud of myself for absolutely refusing to let it go there by simply sliding my debit card further and further towards him hinting at him to end it and just take payment. As the need for dry cleaning has increased over the last few months, I'm reminded of our tried and true cleaners. The ownership here is friendly, efficient, and consistent. Last week we brought in a substantial load of dry cleaning and I was pleasantly surprised at the bill. For context, I'd paid nearly the same amount for 1/4 the amount of clothes at another cleaner. Is there a negative star available? I would! This owner has terrible customer service. He does not greet his customers as they walk in and he is rude. As I read some of the reviews it reminded me how he was when he forgot to give me my ticket and I came back for it. He said "You dont trust me? You think I am going to steal it?!" Lol! He gave these people a hard time when they forget their ticket and when I asked for mine he gave me a nasty attitude! Come on now. He plays you with prices, he charges you different prices when I send the same exact clothes everytime. The quality of the work/dry cleaning is mediocre. We have been customers at Cinco Ranch Cleaners for almost 8 years. The service has always been excellent. I can honestly say in 8 years we have had nothing but great service, great prices and excellent cleaning. You cannot beat the convenience of same day cleaning, in by 9am and pick up at 5pm. I would highly recommend Cinco Ranch Cleaners. The quality of service and cleaning at much lower prices than many cleaners in the Katy area, you just cannot go wrong. I HATE THIS PLACE. I stopped going to this guy(the only guy that works there and is the owner) because he insults you so much while you're there. He would not give me my clothes because I lost my ticket BUT knows that he can search by my name and number. I just went in there after 3 years to pick up clothes my elderly mother dropped off and he over charged her compared to the regular price and insulted me after questioning the price... told me this isn't his first day. People need to stop going there and giving this guy any business. I hope more people see this and stop going there. I don't think people should thrive after such terrible customer service. read more

This guy runs a good cleaners. I don't ever write reviews. This is the first review ever. I have used several cleaners over the years and have had problems getting back pressed shirts with buttons missing. I have never received a pressed shirt with missing buttons from this cleaners. During Covid19 many people are working from home and that is hurting many small cleaning businesses. Support small business, now more than ever, especially the good ones like this. read more

I give them 1 star because we have 3 pairs of pants missing and they refuse to look for them or even acknowledge that they could still have them. I was made to feel like it was my problem not theirs even though they were the only dry cleaners I was using. The man at the front is not friendly at all. Poor customer experience. I was informed immediately upon dropping my clothes off that I should not allow my pets to get their fur on my clothing - as though that isn't my reason for getting dry cleaning in the first place. After that unnecessary lecture, I dropped my clothes off, prepaid, and was given a claim ticket. I returned two days later and was told I needed my claim ticket to get my clothes (that would have been nice to know when I was given the ticket!). When I told them I didn't think I knew where it was, I was told to look in my purse or "crawl on the floor" of my car. Disgusting customer service. I am never going back. read more

Just gave back 4 (6 total in the order) of our brand new dress shirts- FOR MY WEDDING- with huge stains all over them. Told us "those stains were there when you brought them in." Yeah, except they weren't, because they were brand new, never worn, will only be worn once because they're for my wedding. We opened the package 3 minutes before dropping them off. Owner said "well you didn't open them in front of me, now, did you?" Ugh. Save yourself the hassle. Don't ever go here. Cheap dry cleaning isn't worth having to buy all your clothes all over again because he ruins them and then treats you like it's your fault. I had used this cleaner in the past and never had an issue. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Cinco Ranch Cleaners again. The customer service is very poor, I had dropped off my work shirts on Saturday and was told to come back on Monday. I left my office at 3:30 and arrived at the cleaners at 4:30. I was told that the ticket says 5:00pm not 4:30, the attendant that was there (I believe he is the owner) told me that I have to respect their time. I, the customer, couldn't believe that my clothes were not ready and that it will take 30 more minutes. He obviously was trying to be difficult. Ive been going here for over 2 years. Absolutely love the quality and speed of getting my clothes back. He has his own dry cleaning equipment on property so as long as my clothes are in by 9am I have them back by 5pm that same day. I don't have to drop them off and wait 2 days like most places I've been to. I won't use anyone else!! read more

Have been going to this cleaners since they opened. we are very pleased with the service....owner is very friendly courteous and helpful. we personally have not had any issues with our cleaning. we moved about a year 1/2 ago - tried different cleaners closer to our new location. that place was much more expensive! went back to Cinco Ranch Cleaners immediately.
