The worst dry cleaning service. My husband picked up dry cleaning 2 weeks ago, they were busy so he assumed the rest of our items were not ready yet. We waited for a text, no text. I come in today looking for my missing pieces and the clerk was extremely rude and uninterested in providing the customer service that's a part of her job description. When I spend my money supporting local businesses, I expect good service! Your prices are high, and your staff is rude! It took me requesting them to run the cameras for someone to go to the back to look for my missing clothes. Lo and behold. They found it. No apology, nothing! DO NOT COME HERE! Go somewhere you're appreciated for choosing the establishment. The worst dry cleaning experience! They're reviewed a 3.9 for many apparent reasons. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COMET. read more

Took my pants here with a minor stain from the night before. Had asked the woman there to mark the stain so it wasn't missed. She didn't and the stain was not removed. I requested it be redone which they did. Just picked my pants back up and they were over dry cleaned, now ruined. read more

So I walked in because this was the closest cleaners to my house. As I walked in I noticed they had a Tuesday special posted on the door, And the lady mentioned a first time customer discount, however both discounts unfortunately did not apply to my jacket. Disappointing but not a big deal. In all It cost $67.92 to clean my leather jacket which did seem kind of pricey. I didn't walk in looking for a discount, however I do appreciate a good value. When I picked up the garment It was all speckled from the soap afterwards which reflected brightly all over the jacket which was kind of annoying to go back and wipe down. I suppose it was clean enough otherwise however it did stink of chemical for some days afterward. While I'm on the topic they could have conditioned the leather or done something for it, it would have been a nice touch or made the service worth it. It came back rather dry with soap residue. it's a nice jacket, not old no cracks but could use a condition. supple still. The second lady was nice and did offer for them to rewash it when I picked it up as she must have seen the soap speckles when she showed it to me but I didn't want to be a pain and nitpick the job and I needed my jacket as it was getting colder then. The jacket did stink of chemicals for about a week afterward. While I do like the smell of starch this wasn't that. So in all, I've a few jackets I may take elsewhere. I arrived to pick up my dry cleaning at 4pm today. I was the only customer in the store and at first didn't see any employees when I entered. I then noticed a woman sitting behind the second counter. I was not greeted upon entry and after a few moments at the desk she proceeded to ask if I was picking up or dropping off. I advised her I was picking up and was then she rudely informed that it would be a bit, she wasn't sure how long it would be before they could get my order. She advised me that the girl in the back was checking. In a delivery and they couldn't help me until she was done. After checking a computer screen she told me it would be at least 10 minutes. I told her I couldn't wait 10 minutes and could she not pause the check in or could she not help me? To which I was told no and I should have waited to come pick up my order when I received a text saying it was ready. I proceeded to tell her that I did get a text a few days ago. Another customer walked in and she then turned her attention to her but in the middle of asking the new customer her name she asked me my name. I told her to help the other customer as she was not helping me. She asked my name again and I responded the same answer and she responded that she runs the store. I told her to help the other customer as she already made it clear she wasn't going to help me and she finally turned her attention back to the other customer. Less than a minute later the girl came from the back and explained that they only have one computer and she has asked repeatedly for management to fix the other 2 computers. I told her it was fine and thanked her for getting my order. I have never been treated so rudely as I was this visit, and by the person who "runs the store." Horrible customer service and an ugly attitude. I won't bring my clothes here again. Do better Comet Cleaners, fix the computers so customers don't have to stand around and wait just to be treated so rudely by your staff. read more

I moved to the Katy area and had a hard time finding exactly what I was used to, especially when it came to caring for my dry cleaning garments. I tried Comet Cleaner, and to my surprise, they exceeded my expectations. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. I recommend them to all of my family and friends. Dropped off two comforters to be cleaned. One had a bunch of stains from baby formula, spit up, and coconut oil. When I got it back, there's not a single stain left! I'm super satisfied with my experience and feel like it was money well spent. It was about $50 each but worth it to have all the stains gone and have my comforter looking brand new again. It did take a couple of days for them to be done but I didn't mind. read more

They put a big yellow stain on my $150 button up shirt and said it was there when I brought it to them. offer me a free cleaning but the stain was still there, they told me they don't know what to do. This place has gone down hill quickly! I have only used them since moving to the area but will never return. The customer service is some of the worst I've ever experienced. I pulled up in the drive through once and both the woman and her grandson didn't budge. I had to get out of my car and walk up to the window and he looked annoyed he had to work. She didn't even budge. Another time he just stood there trying to hand my dry cleaning through the drivers window. Every other time they place in car without just standing there dumbfounded. My last bill for 2 dresses was $29 and was dropped off on a Tuesday when it's supposedly 25% off. That is ABSURDLY overpriced as I've paid less than that for 4 dresses at another location. Customer service and pricing is awful. Neither want to work and seem inconvenienced anytime you drop off or pick up. Will never return to this location. read more

I have been coming to this location at 22810 Morton Ranch Road since it opened a couple years ago. I really can't say enough good things about this place but they do all of my dry cleaning my ironing and the occasional sewing on a button. JoAnn is the best she always has a smile and she's always quick to take care of my cleaning needs. I SO wanted to like this cleaners as we just moved to the area and its close to our house. I thought the first time maybe the lady was just having a bad day because her customer service was horrible. a simple kind hello or thank you shouldn't be too much to ask. I have visited this location in Katy and the one on Westheimer and I have had a great experience on both. Very professional staff, very reasonable prices, and great specials. They were professional one time I tried to save an old jacket which they explain in detail how will they try to save it before I agree to clean it and another time I got a special for 25% off on Tuesdays and Thursdays on dryclean pieces. I will go to either location and I know I'll get great service. I recommend this cleaners business for their prices and professionalism. read more
