Generally, my experience with Carl's service department has been OK; nothing great, but passable. Got an email from GMC today advising me of an issue with my safety restraint system and further advising to get this car into the shop within a day. Sounds somewhat serious wouldn't you say ?y first contact with Sydney of the service scheduling department proved unsatisfactory as she was only able to put me on a voice mail marathon with a service advisor. When I immediately called back and explained my frustration with her seemingly lack of concern for this issue, she again offered to put me through to an advisor. Sydney did check my vin for recalls and told me there were no open recalls-but wait a minute I said, what about this GM warning. She said she knows nothing about any such notice and furhermore told me that she could not offer any additional assistance. Now is that any way to run an airline I ask you. read more

Bad Carl's experience like above review, this was with a 2010 Pontiac that GM said would be repaired at their expense, except Carl's doesn't fix the car, they keep making it worse and then say we will have to pay to have new problem fixed. I bought my 2010 Fusion Hybrid from Carl's Buick in Stuart, January 6, 2015. The car was priced at $13,000. I had looked at the car on a Sunday to check out the exterior. I believe It is the top of the line Hybrid. When I got to the dealer to drive it I asked the sales rep to just confirm that the price was $13,000 and didn't have a bunch of hidden charges. He checked and said yes. We went for a ride. I knew that I was going to buy the car while I was driving it. We got back and wrote up the sales contract. They said they would take my personal check and the sales rep actually drove the car home with me. I gave him a ride back to the dealership. I have put close to 10,000 miles on the car and I love it. The gas mileage is great and it's a very comfortable car. read more

SCAM! Was not happy with the service provided at this location. Definitely got the "used car salesman" stereotypical vibe when I was dealing with employees at this location. Especially when I told them I wanted to buy the car, they wrote up a contract & got manager approval on the contract, I went outside to look at the car once more and by the time i came back in - they told me the price was not actually what the contract stated and told me i would have to pay more for the already agreed upon price! bought two vehicles in the same month this year. got a silverado 1500 that has so many scratches in it looks like cats did a line dance and it needs new rotors and brakes. It has a deep scratch in the fender, a huge chip in the glass, no stereo came with the truck. It smells like dog inside from the previous owner. The detail on it was awful when I received it. it has already had a starter put in.they obviously don't do an inspection before a customer buys a vehicle from them. bill kessling is rude, when we bought the car and even afterwards.. I asked him if there was any way carls could help me on the cost of the rotors and he basically said you're out of luck we won't help you, not can't won't... the only bright spot that I've encountered there is David Benjamin... I think if you spend 15,000 for a truck the brakes should be good for more than a couple of thousand miles. The service tire monitoring system light comes on. The list is endless. I know they saw the brakes, cause the truck needed smaller tires put on cause the 20's it had on it were to big... I feel swindled and would not buy there again, I will tell all my friends that I can find on the internet, all because a rude salesman and a poor inspection of the vehicle. ... their slogan says try carl's, it should be try being honest.... read more

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE This place is loaded with lying sleezeball salespeople. Read the one star reviews before hand, I did not. I went on the lot to purchase a 3/4 ton truck to tow my camper. Sleezeman Brahim Aboujja was the one that lied from the begining. He told my wife and I that the half ton truck could pull 11,000 lbs with max trailering ( showed us on his phone and yes this is true ) so I said show me a truck with that package. He showed me the 2017 Sierra I purchased. I looked up reviews on the forums to see if people were having issues with it pulling campers and such, the reviews were great, people were pulling 9,000 lbs through the mountains with no complaints. I ended up purchasing the truck. Fast forward 3 weeks when I picked up my camper and the truck overheated (excess of 255 degrees) and I had to stop 3 times on the way back. Trailer weighs 6,760 lbs. I went back to the dealer to confront them on the truck not having the max trailering pkg I was told it had. He then said he never said the truck had the pkg and that the truck could only pull 9,400 lbs then sent me to the service department for the repair. The Sleeze MGR Paul Monacelli tried to sell me an $1,100 radiator for my 3 week old truck. When I got in touch with the owner Sleeze Owner Carl Fisher he told me to drive it until it overheats and get a picture. So when the truck shuts off and my family is going out of control with no brakes I will take a picture. So I called the customer service number and opened a case, case number available on request. I have been stuck 4 times with the transmission overheating and these SLEEZEBALLS refuse to fix the truck. Currently I am still in a battle with the customer service number. This place is a absolute CESSPOOL. They will not stand by their sales or service. GMC says the truck will pull 9,400 lbs but yet the truck overheats pulling 6,700 lbs. The service department lied on my paperwork and said they inspected the transmission pump but yet they did not pull the transmission. I bought 3 cars at the used car lot, one for me,my wife and son, trade in. the cars were great except for my sons car who had lost steering after a few months and at that point had 40k miles passed the bumper-to-bumper at 36k warrantee. They wanted to charge us $80 just to look at the car and additional charge if there's a problem which was ridiculousness! This was a GM product that was defective and it caused a safety issue bc i almost got into an accident when i lost the steering, why do I need to pay something I didn't break! I went to Wallace chevrolet next door and they took me in without any hassle! Wallace chevrolet payed for everything and gave me a rental for 5 days because my electrical power steering went out and the part to replace it was in North Carolina. They were worried that it could injure me or someone else next time if it happened so they took appropriate steps to resolve the problem. Carl's Buick GMC had lost me as a customer. They don't care for the people's safety, they rather count miles and look at the warrantee over someone's life. They over charge people for everything! Took my truck in for brake service and was told I needed new breaks, master cylinder and booster. It was going to cost $1600. I told them to forget it. I talked to another mechanic and he said all I needed was the master cylinder and the pads are still very good. He charged me $100 and I spent another $100 on the parts. read more

On 12-19-2015, my wife and I went to buy a VW Jetta 2013 for our son, since he is going to college soon. We met sales person Mattew Carlisle, discuss the price, and agree on a price of $12,319.66 in the form of cash. Mattew handed me a buyers order form and another form that looks like a credit application, with the ALLY logo in the left top corner of the form. Immediately I did ask him if it that was a credit application, since I have an auto loan with ALLY. He said that wasn't a credit application, that they were using it as an standard form for information purposes only. We pay and left the dealer to only find out on 12-23-2015 that an inquiry was run on Equifax by the dealer. When I ask the dealer manager, M. Ben Pridemore, he call me a liar and that I did authorize the credit application by signing that. I did spoke on the phone with Mattew Carlisle, and he apologizes and said that he didn't know the form will be used as a credit application and that he will try to help us remove the inquiry. As of today, no resolution has been made and if I wouldn't know I would it go somewhere else. No need for lying read more

When buying my new car, the salesman kept telling us that it didn't matter how the names were presented on the paperwork, that wasn't true. My husbands name was put on first and my personal license plate (of 18 years) was taken out of my name and put into his, which made my new plate that was purchased April 30, 2017 for 2 YEARS no longer any good. The new registration was put in j his name and now I have to buy another sticker in Oct 2017, 6 months after purchasing a 2 year tag, of course no body could help us and said it could not be changed, I'm just out the money for a tag that was 2 weeks old but good for 2 years. Then the back light above the window leaked and the salesman told me to bring it in and I did and service said, no I needed to make an appointment and I did and they kept the car for 3 days and when I returned to pick up (because I had a call from Mike the service man that was handling the job) Mike was gone for the day and one woman was there and she couldn't find any paperwork for it and finally found a key and told me to hit the panic button to find my car in the parking lot, of course in the pouring rain and the service dept. was closing, we left with the car, not knowing if it was fixed properly or not. Mike promised me as did the lousy salesman John (that was NEVER there when he told me to leave work and come down to the dealer) that they would shampoo the soaked, wet carpet and lift the storage to be sure there was nothing that would rust from standing water, he also said he would have them clean the drivers inside door because another salesman drove my car over to service (the day that they couldn't take it after John said to bring it up there and he was gone and service said they couldn't look at it that day) and got some orange/red sticky stuff on the bottom of the door. The carpet wasn't shampooed, the car was not washed and detailed as promised,the water stains are still on the back above the glass and now there's grubby, black hand and finger stains on the material above the window and on the drivers side back door and seat, obviously from putting the part in, Unbelievable, mind you this is a brand new car with light grey interior. Professionals? I think not, I haven't even received the receipt a or any paperwork that the woman in service told me Mike would send me. (It's been weeks and I'm very disappointed in the whole mess) I bought my car at Carl's because I was a repeat customer and Ben handled the first vehicle, but this John character is a bull shiter and tells you want you want to hear and then never follows through, We were so rushed to take this car home the night we did, that I wanted to wait until the next day, John kept coming out to me as I was trying to remove everything from my car that was being traded and he kept saying come on we gotta get this paperwork done, in that process I accidentally left a pair of expensive, new, walking sticks in my old vehicle and those are gone, the whole thing was very unpleasant and I do not want to deal with the unprofessional people at this dealership anymore. . read more

I brought it in to diagnose an illuminated check engine light, to diagnose why my vehicle was lugging after refueling, and I requested to loosen the valve stem cap on my driver side front tire (it was too tight and I have been unable to get it off to put air in my tire). I was offered a courtesy car wash to which I accepted. The two items were diagnosed and more than a half dozen other services were recommended totaling over $2,200. I opted to only correct the lugging after fueling problem which I know did not please my service writer! The dealership had my truck two days to fix the one problem and when I picked it up my valve stem cap was not loosened and my vehicle was not washed. I drove it right to another dealership for help then paid to have it washed at a local car wash. You failed regarding courtesy! They shouldn't bother offering services to me they're not willing to provide when I accept them! read more

The worst experience of my car buying life occurred at Carl's GMC. Met with the sales rep and then TJ the internet manager. After a test drive, we worked out a deal including my trade in. Shook hands on it and left the dealership to go clean out my trade in while they detailed the new truck. An hour later I received a phone call from TJ apologizing but said the deal was not going to be done! I escalated it to the sales manager, he said sorry but NO!. So I escalated the deal to the actual Owner. He called me the next business day to hear my side of the story. A few hours went by and he called back to say sorry but NO. I have never had this happen in all my years of car buying. Who actually shakes on a deal that took over an hour to make only to take it back after you leave the dealership. If there is one thing I can't stand, it's being lied to and deceived. The next thing is a manager or owner that does not live up to the promises made by their managers! I thought these kind of scams happened at non reputable car lots, but GMC, cone on!! I have since met with the factory GM rep in the area and another local GMC dealer in Fort Pierce and yes, I am enjoying my 2017 GMC Sierra truck.
