5 stars. Starcrest Cleaners was an amazing luxury after we downsized and I no longer had my HUGE washer and my old dryer too FOREVER and a day to dry anything. They offer delivery services and would even separate our clothes by person!!! (Super easy to tell in my family at that time) Everything would be returned folded and shrink wrapped by person - ready to go into the drawers/closet. Well worth the investment. read more

My dress changed in color and lost its beautiful orange vibrancy during the last StarCrest Fishers dry clean in APR2023. The dress lost its "pop" and went from a beautiful bright tangerine/papaya color to a dull dingy dark orange (burnt orange) & looked almost dirty and no longer matched the corresponding suit jacket. Starcrest employee Jess who was on shift stated she clearly saw the difference between the before and after color. It was suggested to come in and speak with Bill, the Starcrest Cleaner Fishers owner. Arrived at the store, waited for a brief period for Bill who came out and did not greet me, "the customer". He just stared at me. I tried to greet him and only after the third attempt, he stated, "it has just been one of those kinds of days."  I prefaced never having a problem before with their cleaners or with the cleaning of this dress and advised that the dress had changed colors and showed him the difference compared to the matching jacket. He looked at the account and stated that the dress was at least 4 years old and shrugged his shoulder. He offered to dry clean it again. He asked if I would leave the matching jacket and I declined that offer. I told him it appeared dress had been washed with dark clothing or something that had pulled the color down, darker. He confirmed that it was washed with darks. He stated there is a white load dry-cleaning and dark load dry-cleaning and he would not want the orange to fade on the whites (translation: that he does not mind black fading on the bright vibrant orange). I told him I would never wash orange and black together. He stated with a nasty attitude that he had been doing this business for X yrs. In other words, he was the expert (which I respect). He very rudely said how I wash clothes in my house was my business and how he washed clothes at his cleaner's is his business. I stated, "Sir, I am not trying to disrespect you or have a bad business relationship with you". He also tried to bring another customer (Dr.) into our interaction. The Dr. did not engage. Note, it is so unprofessional to drag another customer into an interaction that they have nothing to do with. Thinking Fushia pink (e.g.) dress washed with dark clothing, shouldn't there also be a colored bucket. He stated the jacket had not been cleaned by Starcrest but by Classic Cleaners (good to know). To further persuade me to leave jacket, he told me he was not going to dry clean my jacket. (He said it first and not me. How could he be trusted?). I told him I was taking my jacket with me and once he had cleaned my dress again, I would know whether they matched or not and if they did not match, clearly it would not matter to him based on how he had been speaking to me. I left the cleaners. Usually, when I drop off clothes, they say thank you and tell me when the item will be ready for pickup. None of this customer service received this time. I always drop my clothes off at the drop off door, but I needed to go inside to learn the true character, non-professionalism, and business reputation of this cleaner. This should have been a respectful positive interaction with the owner valuing a customer. I came in peace and desired a continued business relationship. He instead had a severe attitude when I had no attitude. I was pleasant and respectful from the very beginning with valid feedback about my dry-cleaning experience this time. I just stated the facts. Nothing rude, no ill words, no ill intent, just the facts of the experience. As a customer, I was not in the wrong and nor did I do anything wrong.  The poor experience was not deserved or warranted. I always thought this was the best cleaner. The best cleaners are good to their customers all the time, not just when they are paying money but when the customers have valid concerns and provide feedback. I picked up my dress. It still does not match and will have to be repurchased or replaced. There was clearly a lack of professionalism and a lack of maturity in receiving feedback. A lack of customer care. Bill should not interact with the public. read more

I love this place. Their cleaning is awesome. Beyond the amazing cleaning is the stellar customer service they give. There is always enough people to help and my evening gown was too long me to carry so a very tall gentleman carried it out for me. Pricing is average and great hours and fantastic workers keep me coming back. I had a custom order and the manager called to walk me through the process. I couldn't be more pleased. read more

I was in from out of state for a wedding and had a wrinkled dress from the luggage. My portable steamer wasn't working so we scrambled around to 3 different dry cleaners, but nobody did on-site service. We found Starcrest Cleaners and the nicest gentleman didn't hesitate in taking my dress and he steamed it right away as I waited. That type of service is hard to find these days! I've tried at least 75% of the cleaning places in Hamilton County over the past 35 years. I can assure you that Starcrest is the finest example to be found in the area. They're always extremely cordial and happy in all interactions. Their delivery service is perfect. They are wonderful about keeping you advised as to what is going on with your order and most importantly STARCREST IS THE ONLY PLACE I HAVE EVER TRIED THAT CAN PROPERLY PRESS A DRESS SHIRT. It's uncanny. They get it right everytime. The collar: perfect. The cuffs: perfect. The collar (the part that most other cleaners just can't seem to figure out) : PERFECT! I don't know or care how much they're charging me but I wouldn't mind if they charged more. It's worth it to not have to ever again find myself standing at an ironing board at midnight in my pajamas, trying to get ready for a 6am flight re-ironing a shirt I've as already paid another clueless cleaner to press. Just use these guys. You'll never be sorry you did and you'll look great in your properly ironed shirt. read more

I love the new ownership at this place! What a difference! The customer service is the best! I love how they text me when my dry cleaning is ready. They also now have same day pickup and delivery. I recently took a suit in and my wife's dress that she shore at our daughter's wedding. The suit came back looking professionally cleaned and pressed. My wife's dress dragged on the floor at my daughter's wedding. It had black marks all over the bottom. They were able to get all of the black off the dress and made it look as good as new! Starcrest is always reliable, fast, and reasonably priced, which is all you can ask for in a good dry cleaner. Or is it? We've also had great luck with alterations here. For some reason I'm always needing pants hemmed...and this is a great place to drop off for a quick fixer-upper. Can't go wrong ... easy in-and-out as well ... gotta love a drive-thru! read more

I have used Starcrest on a weekly basis for the last year. I've always been very happy with the quality of their work as well as their customer service. It's easy to give great customer service to a happy customer, but the true test is how a business handles an issue when things have gone wrong. Starcrest recently cleaned a pair of very costly white dress pants and somehow they came out of the cleaning pink. I don't think there was any negligence on their part. They were completely stumped as to how it could have happened. I was able to speak with Bill, the general manager about the issue and he did everything he could to correct the problem. In the end, they sent me a check for the cost of the pants and I was able to replace them. I am completely impressed with the way they do business and I will continue to use their services. read more

I just moved to the area and was searching for a new dry cleaner. Error on first order resulted in an unexplained 2 delay in the delivery of my dry cleaning. This is also one of the most expensive dry cleaners I've ever been to. $7.00 for dry cleaning a pair of pants and 2.98 for laundered shirts. This is my Go To cleaners..I love the drive up window fur drop off and pick up! The actually put the dry cleaning in the car ! They text message me when my cleaning is ready and I get a choice to pick up or schedule a drop off at my house. Convenience! They do excellent cleaning on all clothing and trust them with my most valuable clothing . I trust no one but Starcrest Cleaners! read more

I was disappointed with this service. I purchased a Groupon to this cleaners and the first time they took my laundry, three shirts went missing for a week. They did return the shirts, but it was after I continued calling and asking. Overall, I was hoping for an easy transition to a new cleaners and this wasn't the place. Not exactly express. Dropped off my dress and was told it would be ready in 24 hours. Was called 3 days after I dropped off my dress and they wanted to speak to me because they did not start the dry cleaning process because they were afraid the beading on my dress may discolor. As a result, my dress was not done by the time I needed it. Don't waste your time with this "express" dry cleaners. read more

Better be careful, they really don't wash your clothes, if the washer thinks its clean when you bring it in, then he will handle over to the pressers just to press, and customer just thinks its clean. The manager of the store, can't handle employees and knowing clothes aren't clean, but just don't say anything so they won't quit. The owner has not taken care of equipment, and wont pay extra, everything is patch up including delivery truck which is in very horrible condition. Customers pay very high prices at this cleaners and believe me it is not clean, nor is cleaners equipment is not equip to be a dry cleaners. Just be Leary about this cleaners and not cleaning customers clothing. read more
