Long story short ... received a perfectly non-stained blouse to them and received it back with stains all over it. Looked like some sort of burns (maybe chemical). They requested the shirt back from me. I sent it to them ... lo and behold it shows up all clean with no note, no email explanation etc. I sent an email asking for some information... they told me it looked like coffee. The staining was in random sports all over the shirt. I'm no expert in splatter, but if it was coffee sure did stain weirdly. And why wouldn't I tell them if I had six + stains randomly all over a shirt (so to make sure they worked on it to get it out)? No longer trust them with my things. read more

Last year, i was referred to Classic Cleaner's to get my faux furs cleaned. I was told that they were the best, so I was happy to pay the high price. The one coat I had done turned out gorgeous. So, this year, I returned to get two cleaned. They charged me $50 for them, before I saw them. To my shock the furs were in melted wads. They offered me no refund, have kept them in their possession and have made no attempt to make it right. Can you imagine? It is mind boggling. They have my coats! I left at least 4 messages and most recently left a message at their coorperate office. I honestly don't think they care. Surely, they would not want a company to treat them in such a poor, unethical manner, but I am just a number. So, now I will leave reviews, contact my bank and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It is a shame. They had been so good! read more

I had given instructions regarding Wrangler jeans to be "heavy, heavy starched with a hard center crease." Being an automated location there was no one to talk to, but discovering the jeans were dry cleaned and folded at the crease I would have refused to pay if there had been a human to talk with. read more

It was black and it bleed on the white ruffle apart and they were saying I had to take it back to the manufacturer at first, and they said we'll take it back from where you bought it I trusted them with my garment and I need to speak with someone in corporate that's over classic Cleaners. They just blowing me off like oh well you need to know you guys were responsible classic Cleaners was responsible for my outfit and they are not taking any responsibility. I've called repeatedly about my curtains which were picked up three weeks ago. I've spent an incredible amount of time trying to track them down. I work a full time job so I don't have time to stalk my dry cleaner. I've called multiple times to try to get them back. Initially no one know where they were, then without apology, I was told they had just been sitting around for weeks but they would be dropped off Friday. Friday came and went and I still don't have them. I've been charged over 200 dollars but I have no curtains. No one picks up my call unless it's to send me to a voicemail that never return my call. I have been a long time delivery customer and trusted Classic Cleaners to bill correctly and be fair -wow, was I naïve!. I can only wonder how long and how many times I have been overcharged. I took my 94 year old father's shirts to the local store at 146th + 421 to wash 4 cotton shirts. They DRY CLEANED them for a bill of about $ 45! Although the account is a phone number they never felt like they needed to inform him of the expense! over eleven bucks a shirt! It made me wonder if my deliveries were being charge that way too. I called the local store and basically "Sarah" was not only rude but was completely fine with the overcharge . . .she basically said "if you don't like it, go some where else. Do not under any circumstances use their wash and fold services. They are absolutely garbage. They've lost my clothes twice, returned to us the wrong clothes once, and last week they completely ruined our laundry. Returning it with everything in the bag stained with black ink and no note or explanation as to why. They took the clothes back to try to "fix" them and have had them for over a week with no follow up. I've sent multiple emails with no response. Oh, AND THEY STILL CHARGED US FOR THE SERVICE! read more

Never had to take something for dry cleaning but it came up that I had to get some coats taken care of. As I do for most things that I'm trying to find in the city I just open up yelp and look for whatever is close to me and head there. Hence how I found classic cleaners! Located in the south broadripple area in the same strip as ukiydo, you find classic cleaners. It's a very clean and well managed space, they got me right in and out. I gave them my coats that I needed cleaned and they let me know that the belts were extra, and I appreciated that honesty! They have a quick turn around time, I could of come back the same day, but had some other things to accomplish. I did get a call and an email when my clothes were ready to be picked up. IMO, best dry cleaner in town! I've been taking my dry cleanable items to this location and always had consistent, fast service. Most recently, I had a job interview and needed a suit cleaned by the next day. No problem at all for CC. My suit was perfect when I picked it up, they even lined the jacket with tissue paper to keep its shape. I took several winter coats in last week and they were returned looking brand new. An added bonus: sign up for their emails and you'll get regular coupons/specials. Also, kudos to Mr. Washington at this store. He's always friendly, courteous and efficient! read more

We dropped off a dress & suit for a wedding. My dress needed an alteration to the bottom because I mistakenly washed it at home, causing the thread to come out. When I dropped off our clothes on Monday, I was told that it would take about 10 days for the alterations to be done, but the cleaning would only be 2. The employee who helped me initially gave me a recommendation on how to temporarily fix my dress so I could have it for that weekend, then to bring it in at a later point if needed. I appreciated this because I felt they were truly looking out for my best interest & didn't overpromise on something they couldn't have done in time. I've been here a few times and it's so overpriced, they also charge more for ethnic clothes to be dry cleaned then western I've noticed. One time I went here and the woman who works here was watching tv in the back, I was yelling and eventually had to call the store phone a few times after waiting for like 10 minutes before she saw I was there. The last straw was when I went to drop off some clothes today and I'm wearing scrubs (I'm a doctor), she asked what hospital I worked at and I told her, completely unprovoked !! she started ranting crazy stuff about bill gates and experimental vaccines. Wtf I'm just here to get my clothes washed and not be ranted at lol and I am not the person who starts fights, it's not productive. If I could give less stars, I would. I've taken two items here, a cashmere sweater for just dry cleaning and a pair of boots for polishing/cleaning (on completely separate occasions). Classic cleaners managed to ruin them both! The sweater came back with a hole in the arm to which they tried to patch but you can imagine you don't patch cashmere with regular string. They did end up paying me about 70% of what this sweater cost but still, disappointed. About a year later after the bitterness wore off a bit a friend told me they cleaned leather boots/shoes for which I needed a pair of boots done after a full winters wear. My favorite pair of over the knee riding boots came back and the cleaner they used caused the boot shafts to stick together (they didn't stuff them with any tissue) and when I tried to put them on, they were so glued together that the interior peeled away from the boot itself. I took them back, they sent them out for a redo, they came back a second time in the exact same condition - stuck together! But for fun, this time the black boots also had small scratches everywhere from the "polishing" they did. I showed the associate and they sent them out for a second repeat and then I don't hear back from classic cleaners for about two months. I just picked them up after a total of about 4-5 months of hassle and while they have stuffed them and peeled the boots apart, they have offered no reimbursement for the damage they did. I was told a manager would call me but SURPRISE, no follow up. I wouldn't take another piece of clothing here if they PAID ME. Absolute horrible cleaning service. You should go literally anywhere else. read more

We've "fired" multiple dry cleaners in town for poor service, poor quality, or bad hours. We switched to Classic Cleaners on College at 49th earlier this year and have been happy with the quality of service and work. What earns a five star rating is the fact that they were able to take a brand new, tailored white dress shirt and save it after it had been hit with blood stains (embarrassing slip and fall...nothing dangerous). I've come to enjoy taking my cloths to the cleaners these days. This wasn't always the case, in fact, going to the dry cleaners was pretty dreadful for me. Classic Cleaners in Meridian-Kessler really showed how to get my starchy dress shirts the right way. With precision execution. First off, the customer service here is awesome - there is always a warm greeting when you walk in, and the place smells of aromatic Copper Moon coffee, instead of stale cigarette smoke (reference one to previous frequented cleaners). Their front office is very clean and well organized, it looks like they run a tight ship. Once they have your contact information on file, it's very simple and quick to both drop-off and pick-up your articles, I get a convenient email notification when my order is complete and ready for me to come and get it. No more numbered tag with chicken scratch writing on it (reference two...). Prices are very competitive, as well. I can get two or three shirts and a couple trousers cleaned for around $20. They also let you pick your starch level, if you like something to be extra stiff. I've also taken my large, unmanageable queen bed comforter in to have it cleaned, which was fantastic. They got it done in about a week, folded in a nice vinyl comforter case, and was way easier than going to the laundromat. I love the delivery service. In over a year, I have only had 1 or 2 pieces of clothing that were not cleaned to perfection. When I returned the item the mistake was corrected. They do some special things such as stuffing your sleeves and replacing buttons if they break. read more

They do a fine job with the clothes and the establishment is very clean but this place is outrageously priced. We recently relocated from Chicago and everything in Indy has been far less expensive with the exception of Classic Cleaners. We recently dropped off 6 pieces and were charged $90. I've used Classic Cleaners home pickup and delivery for 6 years, and I love it. They always do a very good job, and our delivery guy Ryan is great. On the rare occasion that there's a problem with a clothing item, they always make it right. Their service van is through my neighborhood twice a week, which is more than enough to meet my needs. First I want to say the place is super clean management is extremely nice and they do have quality service. However I dropped off nine pieces of clothing five shirts all Columbia shirts and four pair of khakis. My total bill was $75.15. Each Columbia shirt was $8.50 and when I asked why he went into this rhetoric of how it had to go through some special procedure. I have taken these shirts to at least five different establishments and the most I was ever charged was four dollars for the shirts. My only suggestion is that when you drop off your laundry you make sure that you know exactly what price they are going to charge you in advance because when my shirt price and my pants price came back the same I obviously should've chosen a different cleaner. Oh and they did do a very good job I'm not complaining about their quality or their attention to detail but my gosh you cannot charge that much and expect me to come back as a customer. read more
