I've always used CC's services to clean clothing and household goods, most recently I had taken in my down comforter which turned out great. I was trying to figure out what to do with my 2 old down pillows which I really liked, but didn't want to throw away. I noticed on CC's website that they have a method of cleaning and rejuvenating them. I had a Valentine's Day coupon so I figured, why not? My two old down pillows came back like new in two days! The feathers were removed, cleaned & sanitized. They were then stuffed into new soft ticking. For less than $18 each I got back two essentially new down pillows. Quick, professional and courteous service as well. Who knew? Well now I do, and am happy to share this info. with my fellow Yelpers! read more

This is my first Yelp review but my service was so terrible that I have to say something. I will never go back. I brought a pair of pants in to remove a small stain. When I got to the car after picking them up, I noticed that the stain was still there. I went inside and the associate told me, after looking up the order, that the stain had not been worked on. I need the pants for tomorrow and they cannot work on them today. She called her manager when I asked for my money back. I could overhear part of it. The manager told her to tell me that she was wrong and that the stain was worked on and they just didn't tell me that they couldn't clean it out. Clearly she changed the story so she didn't have to give me my $10.65 back. Wow. Shady and I won't go back. Terrible!!!! (Also-they are so wrinkled!!) EDIT: regarding your reply--the sales associate did not offer to clean it again after the event. And she did say that they didn't work on the stain and I could clearly hear what the person on the phone was instructing her to say. I understand that you don't promise that a stain will come out, but you did not try. It did come out when I brought it to a different cleaner. And--in order to refund my money, she wanted to write down all of my credit card information on a piece of paper to let the manager refund my card the next day. This is not ok--it's a good way to compromise my credit card information. I would never let a stranger take down my credit card information, including the security code on the back. read more

If I could give it less than a star I would. Horrible lady was so rude to me. I parked there and ran into taylors bakery DIRECTLY next door (took me 3 minutes tops) and went to my car to put the cake in it and to grab my clothes to be dry cleaned and she went off on me for parking there before she even considered the fact I was about to go in there to get my clothes dry cleaned. Safe to say- I ended up not giving them my business and went else where . I do not recommend this place and hope this lady gets fired. I love this place. I have been doing laundry there for probably 3 years or so now. Like most laundromats, it always has an interesting crowd in there, so it's entertaining, to begin with. Most importantly, of course, is that they have plenty of machines so it's rarely so crowded that you have to wait (which always makes doing laundry less enjoyable than it already is). Partially equipped with entertainment media, they have 2 TVs that hover above the room, usually airing some terrible soap operas, talk shows or other painfully mediocre, disposable network programming. There is also an old-school, arcade video game, at which most kids of today's generation laugh, when compared to their post-Play Station era home machines. In addition to the laundry, which can be done self-serve or a pay by the load service they offer, Classic Cleaners offers dry cleaning service, which is always spot-on (pun recognized). Not the cheapest dry cleaning, but it's great quality. For some, and for some clothing items, quality is all that matters. Finally, and the only reason some of their customers walk through the doors, Classic has some serious tanning beds up in there. Stand up, lay down, crawl around, turn brown. You can do it all under the fake sun at this place, and the avid fake-n-bakers show up religiously to enjoy the multiple tanning options Classic offers. Wonderful staff, to boot. And wireless. While staying in the hotel nearby, I discovered Classic. I have custom shirts and won't let just anyone handle them. Classic knows what they're doing. The extra price is worth your clothes coming back prefect - even if you do spill red wine on them. The email notifications for when your clothes are ready, discount offers, etc are a great bonus. read more

Extremely pushy and rude Classic Cleaners salesman came to my door. I politely asked him for information to pass onto my husband (who handles our dry cleaning), but he pushed me for our names and phone number. I politely declined to give him this information, and he pushed further because he wanted to come back and "follow up." I let him know that I live in a no solicitation neighborhood (it is clearly posted in the neighborhood), but he said that it didn't matter unless I had a sign on my house. I said that it mattered to me, and he said, "Well, whatever. You have to have a sign on your house!" I gave him his information back and told him we'll keep our current cleaners. He once again said, "Whatever." I think I'll stay clear of this place if they treat potential customers this way. read more

I am very happy with classic cleaners. Once after a storm and the power was out, the got my clothes with a flash light. I needed them for a funeral. They also cleaned my silk drapes which were sun bleached, on gentle and got them clean with no damage. They have specials all the time and email me when my clothes are ready. They are so much better than my previous dry cleaner. read more

I have been dry cleaning suits and clothes since the late 80s and never once have I had to deal with horrible dry cleaning smells like I had to do with my first (and likely ONLY) visit to Classic Cleaners. It's been seven weeks since I picked up my suits from their shop at River & 146th in Carmel and the horrific smell is STILL in the suits. The ammonia smell was, and to some degree, remains, overwhelming. It's hard to wear a suit knowing I am walking around in public smelling like an unclean cat litter box thanks to Classic Cleaners. Stepping into my closet where the suits hang is like a punch in the nose. I have tried hanging them outdoors for days, tried using Febreeze on them, and NOTHING can get rid of Classic Cleaner's powerful "stank" they left on my expensive suits. Had you asked me a few weeks ago, I would have said they were ruined, but at nearly two months since the cleaning, the smells on my suits are starting to subside. While the speed of the cleaning process, and the cleaning itself (visually) was fine, the stunning ammonia smells that make the clothes unwearable for weeks makes me have to rate Classic Cleaners the lowest rating possible. read more
