There's an overall scent of spice and fancy coffee. I was really excited to see an Ube Shaken Espresso on the seasonal summer menu, so that's what I ordered - made with almond milk. The cashier that took my order was very polite and let me know that the ube cold foam was made with heavy cream and asked if that was ok. A glutton for anything ube, I said yes - however, I found it had a strong milk flavor that kind of overpowered the ube notes more than I'd like. The drink could have also been a little sweeter, I wonder if there was a flavored syrup or ube syrup I could have added. They had both dessert and food options, including a lot of Halal empanada options that looked delicious. I'd like to go back to try more of what is on the menu and see what's on their next seasonal menu - the Yemeni teas would be of interest, as well as the baked goods.
