From the moment that you walk up. You know, that this place is special. You can smell the coffee wrap around you like a warm hug. As you walk in, It feels as if you've walked inside of a fancy cafe. It's a slice of heaven. Also, everyone is super warm and inviting. Which makes you instantly smile. This place is happy and energetic. I loved looking around at all of the different decorations, treats, and treasures. There's plenty of seating indoors or limited seating outdoors. Everything is spotless! And, they're fast, efficient, and no matter what you get it is perfect! It's a great place to go and study, hangout, or sit for an incredible cup of coffee! Iced Latte-This drink was simply incredible! It had notes of smoked cocoa, toasted macadamia nut, candied orange zest, sultanas, and deep notes of dark caramel. It was a dream. It's a little on the strong side. So, add extra cream and it'll be perfect! Mocha cookies crumble-Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino Blended Beverage with caramel drizzle and coconut flakes and salted caramel This drink was absolutely amazing! If you're a huge chocolate caramel fan with a tropical twist. Then, this is the drink for you. It was smooth, creamy, and dreamy! This Starbucks location is newly renovated--at least I hadn't checked it out since the update--and it's giving total downtown city vibes. I'm all here for it! The inside is really cozy, too. I got an iced vanilla latte with protein cold foam, and it was made to perfection. Also love that they give out their used coffee grounds for gardening. Such a great touch! read more

I always love going to Starbucks! But, this one is extra special. Everyone was super nice. The place was sparkling clean. There was limited seating. But, it was a super cute location! I love this location so much! It's so charming. From the moment that I walked in, I was greeted with a big smile and immediately helped. It was so refreshing to feel welcomed! I then ordered my usual iced caramel macchiato with blonde roast. It was one of the best drinks that I've ever had in my life! It was the perfect combination of sweet, nutty, creamy, and delicious! I was so happy that I stopped in for a drink. It's a rare occasion that they are made so well that I smile the entire time. I will definitely be back! read more

I love this Starbucks! They replaced an old eyesore local business that took up so much prime space in downtown Wheaton. Hallelujah and thank you so much! The previous Starbucks shop was a little one just across the street that could barely handle all the customer traffic that wanted to patronize it. Our downtown got much prettier and classier with this large Starbucks shop! read more

I have to say good bye to Starbucks after their latest price increase. My tall (small) flavored latte is now $5.99. That is just too much (they finally broke the camel's back). Early last year this drink was under $4.00. read more

Great Coffee, excellent location plenty room to sit and relax! I will be missing. The coffee. But I am sure the hit chocolate will be delicious as well. The pastries are very good. I like the fact you have so many choices to pick from. Want to come and sit and relax bring a friend or a family member the smell of the coffee beans will alert you read more

Small and comfortable Starbucks on the corner near the train station. Street parking only so you're going to have that challenge if you're spending a lot of time here. And from what I could see, it looks like quite a few people spend time here. There are not many tables and the few that there are, are occupied by the laptop crowd. Otherwise, it's the same friendly *$ with coolers of pastries and sandwiches, free wifi and power outlets. On a warmer day, sit outside. read more

I'm very disappointed by my experience at this location. I walked in to order a drink and was browsing their ceramic cup display and saw nice design that I've been eyeing for a while and was excited to see it on clearance. Well as I'm picking up the cup and my husband is browsing at other cups, one of their staff members was very rude to us. She told us that if we wanted something from the display we needed to ask her for it. No where on the display was there a sign saying not touch anything. My husband and I were very upset with her rude tone. Had there been a sign saying not to touch anything we would've respected it. How are we to know to ask her for something? If they didn't want anyone touching anything they should've taken the display down or stick a sign so people know. Needless to say we won't be coming to this location again. Very unfortunate because it's walking distance from our in-laws apartment and we are from out of state so we don't know the area very well. read more

Just moved into town and went here for the first time. Saw that they had real coffee cups on the shelf, so I asked for my coffee in one. The useless guy behind the counter said he couldn't do it. "To go cups only". I asked why since the cups were right there and he said, "covid". I told him other restaurants serve coffee in cups, dinners on plates, water in real glasses, real silverware. Even another coffee shop in town served real cups. The guy was just being a dick. Starbucks is so far from their original atmosphere, they should just have drive-thru serve by robots. read more

This is probably the worst Starbucks in Wheaton (since we have at least four, I feel that I can say that.) I'm not going to comment on the menu, since it's the same at every Starbucks. This location is very small. There are only a few tables inside and you basically walk down a narrow aisle along the coffee bar. It gets crowded very quickly, but there isn't good crowd control. The staff seems easily flustered and does not handle the crowds well. I was here on a crowded morning and saw 4+ drinks be messed up while waiting for my mobile order to be ready. Everything from using the wrong type of milk to the barista telling a woman "I know you ordered a green tea, but we thought you wanted a green tea latte. But then we messed up and made you a green tea frappucino so here that is." I was SHOCKED by this transaction. On top of that, I didn't get the cream cheese with my bagel. A relatively small thing, but given Starbucks' normal commitment to quality, I was not happy. read more

Amazing service. The people probably know me. I go all of the time. It is a bit small but the staring area never usually has anyone in it.

I like this place because it's Starbucks, and as much as I like to use my dollar vote in favor of local, independent shops and roasters, I can't help but love the taste of this coffee giant. This location in particular is always lively. The only downside, for me, is that it's very difficult to navigate from the front door on front street to the back of the line. There's just enough room between the counter and the tables for a single file line, and squeezing through with one or two little people in tow is not an easy feat. I know, I know, just use the side door. But sometimes I forget. Also, if you have a stroller or wheelchair and need to use the accessible side door (or the restroom), you need to work your way back through the aforementioned line. read more

Starbucks - Grounds for your garden, how adorable! Empty bucket though, and I don't garden. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Wheaton, Illinois

This Starbucks is pretty small with limited seating. I always feel a little squished inside here since it's always so crowded and they don't have many big tables that you can comfortably sit and do work at. But the workers definitely work hard to meet your needs and are super polite and greet you when you enter or exit their store! One thing I'm not a huge fan of is how loud they play their music--if you're looking to come here to study or get some work done it might be a little distracting. It's hard to even listen to my own music with earphones in unless you're good at tuning out background noise. They accommodate so many different customers from babies to teenage groups to professional work meetings. They usually always have all my drink ingredients available so I'm able to get whatever I'm craving, and their pastries are so tempting wheneve I look at them. It's hard to not buy them while waiting in line to order! read more

Run out of ingredients too often. Especially with fall drinks!!!!! Super annoying and inconvenient. read more

Worst Starbucks experience ever! After I placed my order, I was told by the barista that she'd bring the order outside to me because dogs weren't allowed in the store. I waited about 20 minutes outside (with my ESA dog) until I finally decided to check on the status of my order. Of course it was just sitting on the counter and had been for who knows how long. Thanks for helping out a 7 month pregnant woman!! read more

The place is really nice and I have been here a few times before the service at this one is always a little slow. today at 4:30 PM I came in with my daughter and we stood there for at least 5 to 7 minutes and the girl who was supposed to be the cashier did not even acknowledge us once. on the way out we told her she took too long and we would not be able to order. She Apologize but really didn't care. It's too bad because that is our neighborhood Starbucks read more

Overall a great Starbucks with great coffee (wouldn't expect anything less). A little small and cramped on the inside as it's in a older building - so it's different than a lot of other Starbucks. One side note: As I was sitting sipping my iced vanilla latte, I saw an employee coming onto his shift, grabbed a NYT and went into the bathroom. Employee came out several minutes later and placed NYT back on rack for customers to buy. read more

So last week I didn't even make it in the door because the line was so long. This week, I was in the area again and I decided that it was time to have coffee or hostages might be taken. The space is tiny. The building is cute and all but for the location, this is a Starbucks that could do well to be maybe like double the size it it. Go in the door on the northwest side, not the one that faces the tracks, because if there is a line, and it seems like there always is, the end of it will be at the northwest door and getting through the the throng at the register is kind of obnoxious. So yeah - cramped, to say the least, and if you don't want to be be smushed, you might look for somewhere else to get your coffee on. That said, the folks working here seemed super nice and offered to remake my iced coffee when they didn't leave much room in it. I didn't need them to do that, though the thought was a nice one. And even though the line was long, it moved fairly quickly, which was nice as I figured I'd be waiting a lot longer than I did. read more

This is the THIRD time I've ordered a traveler (coffee box) and had to wait for it. This location has repeatedly not had the order at all, or it's not ready when I come in to pick it up. Terrible service. read more

This Starbucks has great customer service, but is not a good place to hang out. The location is very central in downtown Wheaton and LOTS of people come here. You can get claustrophobic when it is really busy. There are not many seats, so if you plan to hang out, realize that you might not get a seat. If you want to work on your laptop, walk up the block to the Wheaton Public Library. They have some study areas that allow beverages. read more

The staff here is great and there is a very neighborly feel from the regulars that come here. Yes, everything they serve is just like any other Starbucks. Do not come here as there is no parking. It's not worth it to circle around and walk far for this location. The railroad is nearby so do not double park or you will cause serious traffic problems and lead to unsafe situations. There is also very limited seating as the waiting line is very narrow. You cannot sit more than 2 to a table and if there is 3 of you, you'll block the ordering line. read more

A Starbucks is a Starbucks but I feel I need to share what a great experience I had at this location. Went here with Dave to grab some iced coffees this morning. It was kind of packed but that didn't seem to have an effect on the staff. Everyone just seemed to be in a great mood. It was refreshing and put a smile on my face. read more

The staff is fantastic. I really like when they take your name for the cup assignments. Makes picking up my drink a whole lot easier. Being in a downtown setting is nice and Wheaton has free parking in its garages which is very pleasant. However, I have to give it three-stars because it is so very stinkin small. I kept bumping into a guy talking to someone at a table by the register. I then had to squeeze around (and holding it while i passed so I didn't knock it over) the gift card display to get by other customers and get my drink. Second, the Wi-fi is abysmal. Surfing is fine but a video is nearly impossible to watch. In a place that has to be no more than 900 square feet, I only have a 75% signal strength. This only adds to the displeasure of the cramped feeling of this place. read more

I like the people and oo la la coffee concoctions. Really enjoy the downtown area vibe.

Nothing bad to say about this location. I don't drink coffee, so I'm more into the Caramel Apple Cider/Fruit Cups/Egg Sandwiches/pastries. I also like how the location stayed true to the building. THey've remodeled once sinc eopening, and it's very nice. Not a very large location. read more

NOT a coffee freak, so cannot put my two cents in. my favorite things to get here are hot chocolate, banana walnut bread(GET THIS). but this staff has to have the FRIENDLIEST staff i have ever experienced at a Starbucks before. Service is always super friendly, all the baristas are great. Coming here at around 2:30/3:00 during the school year is a bad idea though, because that's when all the students (including myself) are here and there's rarely seating during that time. Not a lot of parking nearby so that can be a bit unreliable, and when freight trains go by it gets really, really loud. I admit that I miss the booth seats since they've remodeled. All in all: great Starbucks, poor location. read more

The staff at this Starbucks is the best I've ever known. Super nice, friendly, and accommodating.

I usually don't write reviews but the guy who helped me was so awesome I felt that I had to. I didn't catch his name but he was an older gentlemen with a pierced ear. Honestly some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. I was in there for a bit and he was so genuinely happy and so incredibly friendly with every single person who came through. Definitely brightened my day up. Cheers to you good sir! read more

Service is slow and drinks are inconsistent. Rudest Baristas I have ever encountered. Outright favoritism to male customers. I have never seen female baristas swoon and flirt so obviously. Usually their too busy MAKING DRINKS to have time to flirt. So small there is never a seat with college students hogging the tables singlely. Two stars because... well sometimes they get my order right and then I'm happy. read more

Rudest barista ever tonight (on June 6)! Made the wrong drink, when I (and the nice girl who took our order) told her nicely it was wrong she went into a huff. Our table was not near the ledge and when she remade it she just set it on the ledge and didn't announce it. No one else was there... How hard would it have been to say "latte"? I have been going to this Starbucks since it opened and this is the first time someone has been rude. Also, why did they change it from the soothing colors to bright white? read more

The barista has been out here twice running a broom and a mop over my feet and shuffling chairs around while I'm trying to read. I get it: even though it's a full 90 minutes before closing, they want to make sure they can hound everyone out the door at 9:25 PM and be ready turn out the lights, lock up and be gone at 9:30 PM lickety split. How about I help out by never coming back? read more

Let's be truthful, a Starbucks is a Starbucks. Therefore, as a fan, I automatically give this place three stars. With that being said, the most annoying part of this location is the size. I am convinced it has to be the smallest Starbucks in North America. If you are fortunate enough to grab a table, great. Otherwise, be prepared to take you coffee to go. read more
