    Pumpkin Hazelnut Crunch (So Good!!!)

Scone House Cafe serves a wide variety of delectable scones--both sweet and savory. In addition to the excellent, delicious scones, you will find warm, friendly customer service. Arrive early because the scones sell out quickly!

Scone Emergency = Joyful Triumph! Let me tell you about these scones -- they're not just baked goods, they're buttery, crumbly little clouds of joy. Sweet, flaky perfection in every bite, with a variety of flavors so tempting it's honestly unfair to the other pastries in town. I showed up right at closing time like a woman on a mission -- I had an emergency (yes, scone emergencies are real) because my friends were taking a painfully early flight and I needed to send them off with something that said, "Bon voyage, but with carbs." Not only was I greeted with kindness, but I was offered a delightful selection of scones like it was still mid-morning! The service? Superb. Compassionate. Possibly saintly. The shop itself is also a total gem -- cozy, welcoming, and full of great energy. It's the kind of place where you want to linger, sip your coffee slowly, and pretend you're a local character in a charming indie film. The next morning, I enjoyed the outside with a fresh brew and a scone, soaking in the morning peace and feeling very pleased with myself. Meanwhile, my friends, in their sleepy travel frenzy, forgot their share of scones. TRAGIC for them. But also... YESSSS for me -- more buttery goodness to hoard enjoy! Moral of the story: come for the scones, stay for the kindness and the vibe. And if you're flying out early -- maybe forget a bag so you have an excuse to come back.

We saw the sign scones and literally jumped out of our car . It's a neighborhood spot with lots of ladies hanging out and crocheting while catching up on gossip. We got a couple of the recommended scones vanilla and coffee both were delicious. The chai however was both the best . Will certainly be back if in the neighborhood.

I finished my gym workout in the morning and decided to check out the Scone House Cafe in Winfield. The Cafe has convenient side parking right infront for easy access to cafe. Nice Spacious Cafe with lots of room for many guests to sit and enjoy coffee and scones. Customer service is fast and friendly. I ordered the following items: - Iced White Chocolate Mocha Latte: 3/5 - Blueberry Scone: 3/5 The latte lacked flavor and the scone was ok too - Worth checking out at least once.

    This is supposedly a matcha.

Completely negligent in regard to allergies. Employee was asked to change gloves after handling a peanut butter product and the employee proceeded to get offended. I've worked as a barista for the last 4 years and I don't think I've ever come across a matcha that isn't green, and that tastes like milk with syrup. It was also addressed, and the drink came back out exactly the same. Matcha is green is it not? It's a shame because I really want to support a local, black owned business. But the overall experience was disappointing at best. A pastry and drink place such as this one is typically one of the first stops some people have in their schedule, it's your job to set the tone for the day. Needless to say, the tone was set poorly. Money wasted.

Menu on display. Couldn't get a pic with no glare.

So delicious! Thank you for all your gluten free options! We were first introduced to these yummy scones at the Wheaton French Market. There was a long line of people waiting to get their scone so I knew they would be worth the wait. They have several flavors and quite a few gluten free options! Many times in the pastry world, the only gluten free option is blueberry which is good, but I want my chocolate! No worries here, there are several choices. Not a sweets person, try the jalapeno cheddar option! The physical location is right off Winfield road with street parking and other parking options available. There's a menu displayed of food and beverages (coffee included) along with some comfy chairs inside and tables with umbrellas outside. Such a cute place! Stop by either spot and get your scones on!

Ohhh wow! I stopped in to grab a coffee and HOLY SCONES BATMAN! Scone House Cafe has an awesome selection of 3 things: sweet scones, savory scones and tea! The guy behind the counter could have been lovelier telling me his favorite flavor scone (Cinnamon roll) as well as telling me that their teas take about 5 min to brew. I sprite seeing my expectations up right from the start in case I was in a rush. Plenty of parking outside in the street! The interior is wild- all purple. It reminds me more of a nail salon or kids carnival rather than a bakery. Every pot has its lid!

    Peanut butter and jelly scone

I came in the morning for two scones and was disappointed. I had never been to a place that has so many speciality scones. I got a peanut butter and jelly scone and a birthday cake scone. Never thought I'd have those scones. They were both delicious and left me wanting to try more of their speciality flavors. Additionally, the man who helped me was very kind and helpful. Definitely would give this place a try if you're looking for a good pastry!

My first visit to La Birria Loca…read more I was initially expecting a sit-down restaurant, but it turned out to be carry-out only, with a few picnic tables in the back for seating. That was a surprise at first, but we made it work. One thing that caught me off guard was the pricing. When ordering, I was asked if I wanted pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole, but it wasn't clear these were additional charges. I assumed they came with the meal. Three orders plus drinks ended up being over $100, which was unexpected. I did have to double-check the receipt, and to their credit, the staff quickly removed the extra charges once I brought it up and told him I didn't need pico, sour cream and gaucamole. Our tab still came to $87 for the 3 entrees with drinks. Despite that, the food itself was very tasty. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared, and we were genuinely surprised at how good it was. Consume was one the best I've had hands down. They portion sizes are well worth it. Their hot sauces were also excellent, with spice levels clearly labeled by number, which made it fun to try different heat levels. Overall, even with the confusion around pricing and setup, I would definitely come back again for the food.

While I haven't tried everything there from what I have tried I can guarantee most if not all the menu is going to be a good choice. The burrito was probably twice as big as I was expecting it to be for the price and it was fantastic. The fries were great too. The food also did not take long, which helped if you need to get back to work after a quick lunch break. Drinks wise they have some cans of Coke products and Jarritos, and some bottles of water. This place should absolutely be on your list for lunch if you're in the area.

I'd rate it on par, or even better, than San Francisco's Burmese options. Service was much friendlier here, that's for sure! Tawk was a delightful host...making jokes along with dish recommendations. Sadly, we gobbled up the food before I remembered to take photos. D'oh! I highly recommend the Tea Leaf salad--a Burmese staple and a real treat if you haven't had it before. Very flavorful and just a hint of spice (don't eat the sliced peppers if you're spice-adverse, but we devoured them). We also had Shan Noodles (B8). I also recommend that. A mild to medium spice level and very tasty. Generous portions. Two dishes was enough for two though I wish we had tried the spring rolls or samosas too--we might have had leftovers if we had! The cheese held together pretty well and was like a spread to place on the crostini. Wasn't messy to eat and all the flavors went well together and were amazing. Earthy and a hint of spice that isn't over whelming. Don't realize the spice after a few more bites. Then we shared the Red wine braised short ribs.
