Big smiles & sincere help when asked about various food selections. They don't rush you when making new choices. Friendly & personal. I have had amazing happy customer service from Janessa & Janette. The new manager Elena is also personable with warm happy smiles. me and my friend scooter to here and we had $20 for the both of us. We go in and it takes a while to order which we're not necessarily complaining about. However, they did take a good minute. We order a Venti drink and I grande and a chocolate chip cookie and it was almost $17 !!! when we're about to pay for our order, and we asked if we could use our points and the lady who attend us said that we were allowed to put our points that was before we even started ordering. Obviously, my friend, and I are confused because how am I a customer supposed to know when I should scan my points or not? it takes 15 minutes for both of our drinks, and they forget our cookie. that wasn't even that good. it's OK place, however, this is my first time on Yelp, and first time, giving a bad reveal on any place, and the workers should work on their attitude, as well as their timing. read more

STUDY AREA REVIEW: My classmates and I reserved their study room on a Sunday, and there was nothing study friendly about their study room. We wanted to utilize their smart tv they had so we can mirror our devices on it but we couldn't because there is no remote to control / accept Bluetooth streaming. We asked for the remote and they have known it's been lost forever. We downloaded the "universal remote app" like they told us to but that did not work either. Something I enjoy about Starbucks is while studying, there is easy access to charging devices. This table had plug-ins but wasn't connected to an outlet - therefore the table outlets didn't even work and the table was too heavy to even move to even connect it. The room looked dirty and they even had a corner dedicated as storage for their product touching the floor. Their study room is also quite stuffy. THE THING IS Visalia truly needs a study area for weekends! I love this idea this Starbucks location has BUT it needs to be worked on. PLEASE add a BIG white board! It's a great option - us students appreciate this. PLEASE find the remote to the smart tv - it's a great thing to have! PLEASE connect your table so us students can charge our devices through studying PLEASE make it easier to book the study room, maybe an online form? 5 stars to the employees who were super kind, and we all enjoyed the food and drinks we ordered. read more

Staff are consistently great. Manager/leads Consistently closes lobby with no warning or notice, doesn't necessarily coincide with closing time, they will just randomly close it. You can place a mobile order then find locked doors, you stare at your drink and ponder if you stand there until staff take pity on you or hop in a 10 car long line for drive through defeating the purpose of a mobile order. Normally not a huge deal but 3-4 times in as many months capped off by finding a closed lobby after walking a mile on christmas day to find locked doors 30 minutes to close? Customer service has always been good. That is not the issue. Speed is the problem. Drinks take nearly a lifetime. Environment is chill. Sometimes it seems like there is a party going on because of how loud it is, which defeats the purpose of allowing individuals who come to study to actually be able to study. Also, bring a sweater, especially if you're going to be sitting there for longer than 15-20 minutes. It's going to be chilly in there. read more

Service felt rushed, no energy didn't even ask for a name for the order. Ordered three hot chocolates with caramel in one and toasted white mocha flavoring. Ended up with basically four milks with flavoring not an oz of chocolate. I could've got 3 gallons of milk at the store for the price I paid. Big building and beautiful decor/design inside, but the service is SUPER slow compared to other Starbucks I've been to. I understand they have customers at the drive thru who need their drinks first, but if you go inside and order & wait, and notice that the customers who ordered after me were getting their drinks before me, wouldn't you be impatient? So I ask about my drink and the person that rang me up asked, "what was your name and again and what did you order?" I told her and luckily the other barista was barely getting started on it. So when I got my drink, they don't even say thank you for coming, or even give me a straw for my drink. So I naturally go to the area where all the straws are at to get my own straw and they only have grande sized straws left. So I tell someone behind the counter that I needed a straw for my venti drink, and the girl leaves and comes back with lids to stock up instead and just gives me this look like she completely forgot about the straw. I was already over it by then and just left. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. But luckily the drink was actually good. I say if you do go there, just go through the drive thru window. And ask for the sippy cup lid because obviously they don't have time to stock up on straws. read more

So disappointed in this Starbucks. I moved to this part of town and I've given this Starbucks three chances and all three times it sucked! They've messed up my drink all three times and despite my pre/ordering, I have had to wait 5-10 minuted each time, which would not be that big of a deal, if the baristas were at least pleasant. The manager or shift leader is always rude (It's the same shift leader and she really needs to learn some customer service skills.) I get that there's new staff there and I am understanding about that. But there's no need for her to be rude when I tell her my concerns. No apology.... Just dirty looks from her! I'm going to drive across town to my old Starbucks on Demaree and Akers... where they are ALWAYS friendly and the manager, Amber, is professional! read more

This Starbucks is always packed! I used to to mobile orders to see if my items would be done by the time I would get there but that never seemed to happen. So I decided to give up on mobile orders at this location. I went through the drive through and the wait is crazy long but I'm assuming do to COVID not many people want to go inside. So I ordered three drinks including two fraps. I'm waiting, waiting, waiting, at the window and the employee asked me maybe three times "do you have all your drinks yet?" I'm thinking yes of coarse I just want to park here and stare at you! Finally they give me my complete order. I live maybe a minute away from this location and when I got him my husband asked which location I had gotten this drink at since his whip cream was already melted. I told him down the street and he said it looked like the drink was just sitting there for a while. Maybe all the time I waited for them making the other drink they kept asking if I had gotten. Horrible on mobile orders. We are 15mins in and still waiting for our mobile order. The walk ins are getting their drinks faster then mobile orders. Second time in the last 2 weeks this has happened. This store is near our home and we were excited to visit occasionally for a special "treat". However, whenever we have gone our drinks have been made horribly wrong (I know, I worked for Starbucks for 5 years). Sometimes, I have had to ask for drinks to be remade up to even three times, even after having spoken with the manager. Today my sister went to get us coffee. Sacrificing service for corporate time goals, the baristas told her they couldn't give her a decaf brew because it would take too long, instead she should order an Americano. When she came home the drinks tasted horrible. She went back and asked them to remake the drinks, according to how she had originally asked (we're talking brewed coffee, not complex inventions from Pinterest). The baristas he spoke with gave her some sarcastic remarks about letting her know if they needed to be remade again. When the drinks YET AGAIN were wrong, my sister informed the barista she likely wouldn't come again... the barista laughed and walked away. This is not Starbuck's standard. HORRIBLE SERVICE! &&SOMEONE NEEDS TO RETRAIN THESE BARISTAS. read more

I went through the drive through of this Starbucks today to order a decafe pour over for my sister and I. When I got to the window I had to wait for a while, which quickly became awkward. Sometime later I was told that the pour over would take awhile and that to save them time they could make me a decafe Americano instead. I said okay cause I assumed they were fairly similar. When we tried our drinks at home and they did not taste anything like what we wanted or paid for. I returned to the store to asked them if they would be willing to remake the drink, this time the way we originally wanted it. They seemed fine with remaking the drink, and let me know it would take a little time. I said I didn't mind, and waited again. When the drinks were finished the barista called me over. This time she was rude, sarcastic, and though she said, "If I didn't like it again she would remake it.", she made it clear that the first remaking was an inconvenience. I said okay, and tasted the coffee it still was not right. I went over to the cream station to add cream (which should have already been added), this made it better, but was still not what we wanted. I decided not to have them remake our coffee, but I did tell them that we would most likely not return to this store. This was not the first time that our drinks had been made wrong, or that they needed to be remade. We were very hopeful for this location, and hope it improves in the future. read more
