Ahhh Starbucks! Can't really go wrong with them in my opinion. Although the lines are usually really long they normally go by fairly quickly and the Starbucks in Vestavia Hills on Montgomery Highway was no exception! Also service was nice! The area was really nice! I was up pretty early to grab some things and decided to grab a cup of hot coffee along the way and I was not disappointed with my cup of Pistachio Latte! Very tasty!

Baristas choice. grande iced sugar cookie almonds blonde

I went through the drive thru wanting to try something new so I asked for the baristas choice. I was asked if I have any allergies and if I preferred hot or iced. I have no allergies and left the rest up to them. When I pulled up, a female barista told me she made me her holiday favorite which is an iced sugar cookie almond blonde. The name of the drink excited me but once I took my first sip I was jumping for joy. I would have never ordered this drink and I was upset with myself for only ordering a grande. The drink had a subtle sweetness to it and the sugar cookie flavor was perfect. It was fun letting the barista choose my drink and I'm looking forward to doing it again.

If you have read any of my previous reviews that could include anything even remotely related to coffee, you probably know ..... I DON'T DO COFFEE! Ever! It's horrible! Quite simply one of the top 3 worst things ever. So, why would I go into a coffee joint? Well, really only two reasons. 1) and probably most important, my wife likes coffee .... therefore we go to coffee places for her :) .... 2) they do serve other things, such as teas and steamers (milk with flavoring). This location was very clean, had plenty of employees working and following COVID protocols and were very efficient. They also made a really good steamer. If you've never tried, you need to get a blackberry, vanilla steamer .... as far as hot drinks go, it's about as good as they come. All in all a really good location. I'd be happy to return and would highly recommend!

I've been to several different Starbuckses lately, and that has really allowed me to compare them to each other in terms of their items, customer service, and my overall experience with each location. This location was rather lacking to me. I placed a mobile order on my phone, This location has you wait outside opposed to coming inside to wait like other locations, just be warned you will be waiting in the 90 degree Alabama heat. If I'm doing that, it would have been nice if they had my order ready as opposed to not being able to find it and a worker having to just ask me again for my order to bring it out to me. I got their "birthday cake" cake pop. It was actually pretty delicious! I haven't liked most cake pops I've had. They usually seem dry to me, but this one made me want to try more of their cake pops. It was the right amount of sweet, and tasted like I was eating a candy truffle.

Stopped by for (another) delicious cafe latte. Vestavia location is one of my favorite Starbucks with a friendly staff.

There wasn't line when we got there but the crowd usually follows us for some reason so by the time we left there was standing room only and a line out the door. The bakery items were very fresh and tasty. I loved the Swedish gingerbread cookies - light and crisp. The lemon bar was delicious. They also have sandwiches that liked really good. Coffee - I got a vanilla latte extra sweet (no lavender) and my daughter said it was one of the best. I thought it was pretty good. I would go again when back in Birmingham!

The young girl making the coffee was loudly talking about someone who messed up their coffee order this morning and how frustrated she was. The only other employee was occupied with what seemed a large order of bread etc. When she finished what she was doing she looked at the now five customers, claustrophobically waiting, and said I'll be right back and disappeared. Leaving the one guy serving the one customer. It was 11:30 am on a rainy day. Figured I could do without a cream cheese croissant and coffee and left. Had already waited 5 as the only other person in there and did not want to wait another undetermined amount of time. I know one of the bakers. It's a shame the front has been so bad these last two times.

A bold claim, no? Maybe that's all you need to know... but I love writing about coffee shops so don't stop here. I love real deal coffeehouses (yes, in a house) and it's so cozy in here. I didn't stay to work because every seat was taken both times I came in (late morning), so get here early or perhaps late, if you want a seat in the middle of the week. The baristas couldn't be nicer. They took their time and chatted with customers, a rarity in those crowded coffee chains. Do check out those seasonal lattes (I mean, for February, a cherry blossom latte? Say less). My favorite is on the regular menu, a salted rosemary latte and it's literally perfect. I adjusted the sweetness level to be less so, and I loved the notes of floral rosemary and coffee. Pro tip: skip the line and order ahead!

It really did taste like a blueberry muffin. The patio had a relaxed, cozy vibe that made it easy to just slow down and enjoy the morning. Only downside was parking. I had to circle the block twice before finding a spot, so just be prepared if you go during a busy weekend morning. Thankfully, they do have a drive-thru option which is a huge plus if you're short on time or don't want to deal with parking. Definitely still worth the stop for the coffee and atmosphere!!!

This was the spot we would all come to to do homework. It's still got that same warmth and charm. I came in on a Wednesday morning to sit and do some work. I ordered a cappuccino, bran muffin, and a breakup cookie to take home. The cappuccino is just as expected. Served at the perfect temp, great flavor. The bran muffin, which was my attempt to be healthy, was really a delicious stand-out. I would definitely get that again. And, of course, the breakup cookies are some of the best cookies in town. They bake all of the baked goods in-house, I believe, which gets a round of applause from me. A lot of the recipes are still the same ones I remember from 7 years ago. One thing I noticed that's even BETTER than I remember was the books and gift selection. A lot of the books caught my eye. It's a great curation of fiction, non, memoirs, birding books, children's, etc. They also carry the Village Apothecary candles, which are made locally and have some packaging I really love. Church Street is one of the Birmingham staples. I hope they're open for a million more years. They do what they do exceptionally well.

The plaza consists of restaurants, a gym, and a grocery store. The spot itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming. A great place to hang out with friends or be friends. FOOD: Peppermint Boba (Recommend) A seasonal drink that was a pleasant delight. The peppermint wasn't too strong, it was well balanced with milk and the boba was chewy. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great!
