This is a great stop while driving on the 20 because it's right off the freeway and it has a drive thru. Double bonus! A big setback to this is the line for the drive thru. It's always out almost to the entrance of the parking lot and on my recent visit, we sat about 30mins in that line. Had it not been for the truck behind me, I would've left 10 mins into this wait. But the baristas do a good job on making the drinks and despite being so busy, they always are smiling and friendly. read more

Well first off I'm a big coffee fan and this place is a great place. I've stopped by this place several times on my way home and back to school. The drive thru is very quick with orders and has never messed up my order yet. The inside is amazing and is HUGE, almost a little too big... but hey this is texas after all. I waited over 35 minutes in the drive thru. They seemed understaffed and the ones that were there, weren't very friendly. In the past when I've had a long wait, they will usually comp the order, but here they didn't even offer to comp us one drink. The woman at the window said 'sorry for the wait there's only 4 of us here', but then continued to stand at the window while we waited for our drinks. I think she should have said 'Sorry, there are only 4 of us here and only 3 are working'. read more

If I can give this place a ZERO STAR, I would! The sign says open at 5am and it was 5:05am when I pulled up, the location was not open. I called and was told, you have to wait for a few minutes because we don't have enough people! Wait....wait a min! Worst starbucks ever. No paper for receipts out of peppermint flavoring , out of cup sleeves and after a 4 minute wait for drink , my drink was made wrong. Site had one working unit and coffee was really bad. Y husband brought his back and asked for it to b made again and unfortunately it was just as bad. This Starbucks is usually awesome. The employees are nice and friendly, but I have an issue with service in the morning. It's waay to slooow! Exception on the days when the faster employees are there. I also have an issue with the iced coffee. I love iced coffee!! At times when I order it and ask for sweetener to be added they might say "it comes with the drink" so I get my drink take a sip and guess what??! No sweetener! I refuse to get any other drink at any starbucks since they all taste the same to me just a little change of syrup here and there. read more

Ok. I have been to A LOT of Starbucks in my life, and this one was by far the nastiest one I've ever been inside. The tables were dirty, as were the floors. Let me just tell you about the bathrooms...WORST. EVER. There was pee on the floors, no toilet paper, no paper towels and to top it off, the kid in front of us didn't flush So, so gross. Extremely friendly staff, however I have to give it 2 stars bc its extremely dirty. I travel to East Texas about once a week and stop here for a coffee everytime, and everytime it is the same thing. DIRTY. I finally today decided to mention it to the staff. The barista tells me that they are understaffed. I understand that part and realize it isnt his fault but rather the Store manager. The bathrooms are disgusting. The only reason I have continued to go back is bc its the only one for milea around. I DON'T eat the food bc Im worried about sanitation issues. The manager needs to speak with the company and see about getting some more help. read more

Pros: This is a shockingly big Starbucks. The interior size is one of the largest Starbucks I've seen. The people that work there are friendly. Cons: Dirty! The bathrooms are always trashed and I lifted up my back pack to find 4 grasshoppers. I've never seen so many bugs in a Starbucks. Also, many of the plugs do not work so good luck if you need to charge your laptop. read more

So just walked out of there because of a rude Lily C. She told us it was a 20 minute wait, we asked if that meant for specific drink, she said no everything. My husband said 'may I ask why?' and then the attitude came out and she shook her head and said because there are only 2 of us here and we don't have all the supplies we need. So jokingly I said so we get a discount for the wait and she liked at me with the rudest face and said uh, no. That's when we decided to leave. This wasn't the first time we have experienced rude employees at this particular location, luckily there is another off I-20 30 minutes, the way we are heading. read more

I live in Terrell and this is my "regular" Starbucks. Over the past 5 yrs, I've experienced SO much employee 'turn over'. I stop here, on average, 4 times per week. My order is VERY simple and I can't even begin to tell you how many times it's been messed up. This location is right off of Interstate 20, and I TOTALLY understand that their 'busy'. I want to like this Starbucks, I really do, but every drink I've had here is just yucky. I order from Starbucks at least three time a week in our hometown and there's three different Starbucks that I regularly use and I'm always happy with my order. This Starbucks is right by my parents' house (4 hours away from where we live) and I order the exact same things I order at home and here it's yuck, every time. I waited to post a review to make sure I wasn't being too harsh just because they were having a bad day but this has been consistent over many months and at least 10 drinks. I frequent this store often during the day when on the road. It is ALWAYS disgusting, ie floor, creamer station, bathrooms. Creamer is often empty. Today both bathrooms were COMPLETELY out of toilet paper and seat covers and even soap!! There were shreds of paper all over the floor and the toilet bowls needed to be cleaned. And for goodness sakes....if you're going to make me share bathrooms with men, the least you can do is mop the floor of all the dribbled urine so that the bottom of my pants don't have to. read more

They just remodeled this location but dont seem to be living up to their new diggs. My wife and i stopped on a tues around 345. Bathroom was very dirty. Trash on the floor in the main area. Serving counter was a mess. We saw they were backed up behind the counter, which seemed odd considering the time of day and the short line inside, so we both ordered hot tea. I have always seen the cashier add hot water to tea and hand it right back like they do with regular coffee orders but she put it in line with the rest of the drinks. I hate to be picky but we stop at starbucks while we travel because we usually receive a quality product, predictable service, in a clean environment. This is not the first time we have had similar issues w this location but i hope it is the last. read more

One of the slowest Starbucks I have visited! It was painful to watch these people "work." They have no sense of urgency.

If you are a parent of a child in diapers, definitely do not go there! There is not a changing table in either bathroom to change your child, and the bathroom is filthy. When I complained to the manager, and told her hat I should have used a table to change my precious daughter. She informed me that would be a health code violation, and she would not allow that. Can you believe that!?!? I was LIVID!!!! The health code violation should have been exposing my precious baby to the disgust of their bathroom. I was so upset with myself the entire time I was changing her that I hadn't commandeered a tabletop. It was so gross in that bathroom, and she kept rolling off the changing mat or touching the nasty disgusting floor. I don't understand why Starbucks would not provide adequate facilities to parents of small children and babies! I will NEVER go back there EVER!! I encourage you not to either. Parents should not patronize establishments that do not respect our most basic of needs when caring for our children. And if you do go there make sure to change a really poopy diaper on a table directly in front of the counter. read more

My Mother lives about 2 minutes from this Starbucks. I used to come here all the time. The last three times I have been here have been very bad. Very rude staff. You can't even ask a question without someone jumping down your throat. The first time, my daughter ordered a frap, they got the order wrong but corrected it. On the way out, we discovered they gave her a cup that was cracked. It leaked all over her and the car. She took it in and never even received an apology. It should have been free at that point plus an apology. The second time, I ordered a waffle cone frap and they mess that up. When I finally got it, it had one piece of waffle in it and almost no caramel at all. Today we went and ordered a regular coffee with cream plus 2 other drinks. As she handed them, my husband asked which one is the regular, she proceeded to get upset and tell him which ones were grande and which was the venti, like we were idiots. Then told us she didn't put the cream in the regular and said she never heard us order that. Does she need a hearing aide or perhaps a new speaker system?? So she put the cream in it. It was leaking all over by the time we got it to my mom. Another bad cup. The other drinks tasted burnt and were obviously not stirred. What's wrong owner--no decent workers in the Terrell area?? I suggest you train or fire the ones you have--used to have a great staff--not anymore. I won't be back. Won't hurt your business because there are no other coffee places until you hit Forney. But at least I won't waste my money on the horrible attitudes and broken cups anymore. read more
