This is our stop of choice when traveling to points east, and we've done so on numerous occasions…read moreover the years. As with all Buc-ee's locations, you can expect the cleanest and most plentiful bathrooms in the history of mankind, enough gas pumps for an entire town (I think, I just did a napkin count), and all of the snacks and hot food that you could possibly want, to say nothing of an expansive merch selection. So what's not to like? Nothing. Nothing is not to like, it's just a great place that never fails to deliver on everything. My official hot tip for this and all Buc-ee's: check out the coin battery prices, those little round guys, for some reason, are cheaper here than almost almost anywhere else. There's another Buc-ee's closer to our home, it's my destination for those pesky CR2025 and CR2032, which seem to get slurped up by our devices. There's truly nothing bad I can say about this or any other Buc-ee's. Just make it a part of your travel, you won't be disappointed.

They're clean, the line moves fast, and it leaves you plenty of time to shop for....ANYTHING. Need pool supplies? Check. Flamin' Hot Cheetos? Check. Cookies? Check. Clothes? Check. You get the idea. The staff chops up fresh brisket sandwiches for you to grab and go. For me? I always grab the sugar roasted pecans. I can eat a cone of these sweet, warm treats in one sitting. At that point, my frustration grew, and by 11:45 AM, my mom and I decided to leave since our food never arrived. This experience was extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, poor time management, and obvious oversight by both the staff and management were unacceptable. My mom and I left hungry, frustrated, and completely dissatisfied. I had a very disappointing experience with Assistant Manager Melodie during a recent visit. I…read moreplaced two separate orders, but only one was brought out. I handed the bag to my son while calmly explaining to Melodie that there was another order. She checked the screen, called out the second order, and when I confirmed that was it, she power walked pass me over to my son and snatched the bag off his arm without saying anything he looked confused and nervous as well trying to get it off his arm while tugging it because it got stuck, she shouldn't have interacted with him at all. When I asked why she did that, she simply said she needed to check it. There was only one item in the bag, yet she went through it as if she was looking for something missing. She then handed it back to me without a word and continued to have an attitude for the rest of the interaction. Later, when I returned to the restaurant to discuss the situation calmly with a manager only to find out she is one, I overheard her talking about the incident with other customers, which was unprofessional. When she finally approached me, she did so with a smirk, saying, "Oh, you had another order," in a sarcastic tone. I explained again what happened and how she took the bag from my son instead of simply asking for it. She denied everything, saying there were cameras to prove it and that she "wouldn't have done that." Whether or not the cameras confirm it, her attitude, lack of professionalism, and dismissive behavior were unacceptable, especially from a manager. It's really unfortunate because I've always had positive experiences at this location, but Melodie's behavior completely ruined that. Denny's should take this as an opportunity to remind their leadership team that customer service and respect go a long way and ensure all customers are treated with respect and courtesy.
