The store itself is a bit of a hole in the wall, but my theory with donut stores is the more hidden they are, the better quality and value of the donuts. I found this store to be the same in that regard. Donuts tasted amazing and the value was good for everything I got. The lady inside was very nice and helpful as well. Overall, I'd definitely recommend for anyone in the Mesquite area looking for a good place to grab donuts!

All it did was make it close to impossible to hear the cashier. 2 - Service was horrible. The whispering cashier hiding behind all that plastic barely spoke English. She didn't understand what we wanted and we had to literally point it out to her because she kept getting confused. 3 - Who serves cold beignets? Their "Yays" were cold little biscuit squares with powdered sugar. As a Louisiana native, I was insulted. 4 - The kolaches were not good. The dough had an off putting after taste. The sausages were greasy and small. 5 - Cleanliness. Dirty and in desperate need of updating. Finally, I know that Texas likes to lock all their bathrooms but do we also need to make them "employees only"? What sort of restaurant doesn't have public restrooms?

The service was excellent and there were many workers to help the growing crowd of customers. I bought several donuts of interest to see what I would like. My favorite was the chocolate long John filled with barbarian cream and the crème brûlée donut. The pumpkin spice was OK. The texture of the filling wasn't what I was expecting. It was more of a whipped cream and I was thinking pie filling texture. Now for the drink, I ordered a brown sugar crème brûlée coffee. But it tasted like maple syrup and milk without the coffee. They must have made mistake on my order. I didn't like the drink at all. I feel that was the most disappointing because I really wanted coffee that morning. This is just my opinion! Try the place if you are nearby. But overall, I will visit again when I'm in the area.
