I visited Texan Donuts which is located in a light manufacturing and warehouse area in Garland. The store is located in a small strip shopping center. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a friendly staff person (may have been the owner). I told him it was my first visit to their store. I ordered an apple fritter and a few donuts. One of the donuts was a pumpkin spice cake donut for my daughter. She is still raving about this donut. The apple fritter was very good and filled with pieces of apples. If you love donuts, you need to give this donut shop a try!

Ordered some donut holes and an apple fritter. The donut holes were bland, if not for the chocolate there would have been no flavor. The apple fritter was better. They run a pretty brisk trade every morning, in large part because of their advantageous location directly across from the high school, so you can definitely expect to see some high school kids waiting in line to pick up a sweet treat to start their day.
