My visit was all about the beignets! They are made to order. So enjoyable fresh and warm! These things are huge and super tasty! My daughter and I really enjoyed them and will definitely be back to eat some more. We also tried there maple and glazed donuts everything was amazing! I came in after 10 am so I know next time to go earlier for more options! read more

Came by for a visit looking for the best apple fritter (good size and amount of apple and crispy on the outside) for Father's Day and it delivered! It was late on a Sunday morning so we got the last apple fritter but there was still a good variety. The little shop was clean and had a few tables if you want to eat there. Service was quick and there was minimal wait. read more

I'm in LOVE!! I came here on a quiet Thursday morning at 7am to get a dozen beignets for my co workers. I called ahead to put in my order and when I arrived I was greeted by the owner Kay (or K). Kay was extremely happy, friendly, professional and completely amazing. I felt so special when I came in as a customer. We chatted about life as her pastry chef finished off frying my beignets and she completely made me feel at home. I told her I found out about her shop through my cousins and I hadn't had a beignet since I was 13. I told her I just wanted a little bit of powdered sugar on my beignets and she said okay! They were so fluffy and hot when I got them!! They were amazing!!! These are the best beignets in DFW hands down. When I was leaving Kay called me back and she told me she just made dinosaur donuts for a 4 year old and she wanted me to take picture of them for Instagram and I surely did! I feel like I became her friend in the 20 minutes I was there with her. Not only that she gave me some free samples. I have to say this place is amazing and I am officially going to only come here for beignets in Dallas! Thank you Kay! read more

I bought a dozen of different kinds of donuts here and they were all delicious! Most donuts are always pretty good to me, but these were beyond "normally good" donuts imo. My favorites were the apple fritter and blueberry but all varieties were fantastic! I did not try any of the chocolate varieties. read more

Beignets are great. No need to fly to New Orleans to eat it. I usually call and order before I go, because it takes 4-5 minutes to cook the beignets. Other donuts are ready to go. There is a line inside when they open in the morning. Excellent place. A few small tables for sit-down eating. read more

Beignets were delicious, authentic, and BIG! They make them fresh after you order, so they were piping hot and fantastic. I had no idea what the Boudin Kolache was going to be but I tried it! Turned out to be cajun sausage & dirty rice baked inside a bun. Very tasty, I can see myself getting a weekend craving for these. Really lovely staff, they dealt with everything in a calm and friendly way, including people's squealing children. Tip them!! (especially if your kids are nightmares.) read more

We drove a mile and a half further than we needed to just because this place was rated 4.5 stars. We got there and asked about their sandwiches and croissants and were told they didn't sell sandwiches or croissants anymore. We went with kolaches, jalapeño and cheddar. Got home and noticed that the top of them were glossy and sticky almost like they were brushed with something sweet. They were terrible. When I bite into a cheddar kolache I expect to get a bite of cheese which I did not. Unsure if it was in the sausage, I just couldn't tell! I won't be back. read more

We went this morning after the doctor appointment. The lady was so sweet. We were the only ones in there so maybe people think the are closed. Go out and support your local business people. They need it during this time. The place is super clean and smells like heaven. I was happy all the way home smelling the beignets. read more

Although I've been here several times, I finally tried their regular glazed donuts and they were delicious! They are slightly larger, soft, and fluffier than other donuts I have tried. I had a sample of their new strawberry cake donut which was good as well. Not too sweet. I think it'd be great for the kids who like strawberry. Service was wonderful as usual. I will be returning! read more

This place is over rated, went here to try the selection and it wasnt all that... they have what you would find at any other donut place, for a fraction of the price, and have it in stock... they run out of stuff and offer you whats available when its still in the early morning, instead of making more... customer service is ok, but not good enough to come back for what ever is left... wont be going back read more

First time at this place. When I heard they were selling beignets, I was sold. We ordered their beignets from UberEats and when they came, they were still nice and hot and covered with powdered sugar. When I took a bite into them, it was really fluffy and warm. It tastes so good! Warning: one beignet can really fill you up (which is a good thing!) One of the best beignets I've ever had! read more

I could not be more impressed with Cajun Donuts II. In trying to place a donut order for my son's birthday party, I was unable to reach Cajun Donuts by phone. I sent a message request in through their website and heard back from Andy within the hour. He confirmed our order right away and even called back to clarify that he had the order exactly how we wanted it. We emailed back and forth a few times and he made it clear that he was happy to serve our needs and to do the job well. Andy was very thorough, professional, organized, and made me feel over and over again that our order was on his radar and would be ready when we needed it. He went above and beyond!! Also, their beignets are amazing... a must order!! read more

I rarely stray away from Shipleys but this is a good friendly local neighborhood donut shop. The beignets are freshly made and the donuts and kolaches were pretty good. One of the best chocolate donuts I've had in a very long time. I would definitely recommend this place!

I wasn't a fan of the beignets. They were not the light, fluffy beignets I am accustomed. These were just plain donuts with powdered sugar. And they were undercooked. read more

I was looking for Beignets in the Dallas area and found this location. I'm so glad I went. The service was wonderful...such a friendly, welcoming young woman at the counter. Not only are their Beignets really good, but their jalapeño egg, sausage and cheese rolls are absolutely the best! Tried a few styles of donuts, as well, and was impressed with all. Found a new donut shop! It's about 15 minutes away, but worth the extra drive. read more

My home being as close as it is to Cajun Donuts II is one of it's greatest attributes. My kids are crazy for the variety of sprinkled donuts, some of which even come with a full on toy on top. The donut love of my life is the maple bacon bar. It's got a massive amount of chopped bacon on top of delicious maple frosting all atop a fresh bar donut. It's perfect. They also make fresh beignets, some humongous pastries with all the makings of a breakfast dish inside, some with cajun sausage plus they can fill any donut with jelly or cream right in front of you. There is no need to go to any other donut spot, ever. read more
