I was searching for a new donut shop since my previous favorite spot went downhill. Called this place 30 minutes before closing to see if they still had kolaches in stock and they did. I was warmly greeted even though I came 10 minutes before closing. Their kolaches are airy which is how I like my kolaches. The croissants were so good. Jalepeno ones were super spicy. My kids loved the mini ones they had. Worker threw in lots of donuts and a variety of donut holes which was nice of them. Will definitely return. read more

My husband and I went to Honey Donuts in Richardson to pick up donuts to bring to work. We ended up getting a dozen kolaches, a dozen glazed, and I had to have a cinnamon roll. All of it was delicious, they were devoured very quickly. The gentleman who gave us our order was very efficient and friendly. He even threw in some free donut holes. I really wanted to like this place more than I did. The service was friendly, it's not far from my house, and the reviews seemed promising. Came here with my daughter around 10:30 on a Wednesday morning. The place is clean and brightly lit. There is one table for customers that seats up to 4. My daughter got a chocolate donut and some chocolate donut holes with sprinkles. I opted for a Bavarian cream donut and glazed holes. I also grabbed a bottle of OJ from their fridge. My Bavarian cream was fine. Nothing to rave about, but it was solid. The holes were quite stale. Like...not fresh at all. And my juice tasted off. So much so that after my first swig, I checked the expiration date. It was supposedly good until September of 2023, but it was definitely off. I didn't finish it. My daughter enjoyed her donuts, but she's also 4 and thinks plain boiled pasta noodles with butter is the best thing ever. I really wanted to give it more than 2 stars, but with the stale holes AND the rancid OJ, I can't justify giving it higher than a 2.5 rating. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll be back. read more

I've been going to this donut shop since 2022 and it's my favorite in Garland! The owners are SO nice, and the place is very well kept. I like their jalapeño kolaches the most and even though I've moved a bit further from their location I still go out of my way to go to their donut shop! Highly recommend! read more

They called me around 12 and 12:15 to tell me they were closing and I was like, oh no! I am still 20 minutes away! They said no problem, we'll wait for you. I was really dreading showing up at 12:45, having made people stay late at work on a weekend - or worse, maybe showing up to a closed store and having no idea what to do at the last minute for my son's birthday dessert! This place is close to home and the family that own and work the shop always make us feel welcome! I bring my kids almost every weekend-let them pick half a dozen, and a breakfast sandwich for me and the wife: everything is amazingly fresh and you can obviously tell if you let the food sit for too long. They're selection is great with all the classics and always a few unique ones to try. My kids love that they also always have a few kid themed ones with characters like iron man or Barbie.
