this donut shop is on another level. So good I had to write my first review You come in expecting great donuts (which, by the way, are all fantastic--soft, fresh, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming), but what really steals the show are the sausage rolls. The bread alone deserves its own spotlight--pillowy, slightly buttery, with just the right amount of golden crisp on the outside. It's the kind of bread that makes you wonder how something so simple can taste that good. And then there's the sausage--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every single time. Together, it's the kind of bite that makes you pause for a second just to appreciate it. read more

This place is always consistent with large preorders for my husband's work and very responsive with messages.

There are admittedly a dozen or so donut shops in Rockwall, and almost all are good - but this has become our go-to spot. Convenient parking out front, well-stocked display cases with wide variety to please kids and sweet tooths (my wife loves the Fruity Cereal toppings! Service is super-friendly, although there can be a small language barrier at times (watch to make sure they understand your selections). But we love the shop, and Marguerite is GREAT! They have a rather unusual birthday party donut service that looks like it might be a hit w youngsters! read more

These donuts were excellent!! We always say the donuts in our small town are the best but these were way better. They were still slightly warm too which made them even better. Highly recommended! read more

Absolutely the best Donuts in Rockwall! I bring my daughters here every Sunday! And their Kolache's are my favorite!

PROS: I figured this would be your basic mom-and-pop donut spot, but I was really impressed with how nicely decorated the Santa donuts were and how amazing they tasted. They were warm and the frosting was great. I liked them so much that I ate the one I got for my brother. Couldn't help it. CONS: Pricier than expected, but that could be because the Santa donuts were a little fancier. read more

I wanted to see what all the hype was about, so we drove from Wylie to this place. For the amount of money we paid and still not being full, this was a let down. I think the big craze here is the personalization of a donut order (e.i. birthdays, sports, specific creativity, etc). I will give props on the idea. Very colorful and creative. The donuts we ordered tasted dry and the consistency reminds me of eating a muffin or a piece of cake vs. a fluffy inside. Icing wasn't as smooth tasting, seemed dry as well. My kids did have cool decorative selections. My croissant kolache was pretty good. We ended up driving back to Rowlett where we normally go and had to order more. Jenny honestly does this already minus the specific personalization. I know she could do it though if she chose to. read more

The creme brulee donut has made me into a regular here. Freaking delicious and the service is great!!

So disappointed this morning when Donut Station #4 lost my Birthday Donut order for my daughter and her teacher. I brought my order receipt order in to prove that I placed the order and they just kept questioning me. They even gave me a hard time because I placed the order 4 weeks ago. I know mistakes happen but as a business there comes a point when you need to make up for your mistake. I am the one who had to request a refund and ask for donuts. They just wanted to keep talking about it. Luckily my daughter nor her teacher were expecting custom donuts, but I just am disappointed in the manner in which they handled this situation. I ended up just buying a random set of donuts. I will be doing custom donut orders with another business from now on. read more

Not only are these donuts festive and fun, they are absolutely delicious! I needed birthday donuts for my niece very last minute. I called and left a voicemail in the middle of the night of what I wanted, and Kate had my order ready by 8 am without even speaking with me first. Service is beyond friendly. Prices are great. And everyone in our party was so impressed with the colorful presentation. This is our new permanent donut spot. Five stars. read more

I stopped in to see what type of other breakfast options they had. I had a wonderful croissant sausage and cheese sandwich. The croissant melted in my mouth and was delicious. It was late morning when I went in, and they were still doing a nice business. During times when no customers were there they were busy restocking the front and cleaning everything. Very nice place, the donuts must be good as people were taking them out by the box full. read more

Inside this unassuming little shop are some of the best donuts and breakfast items that you will ever have the pleasure of tasting. Personally, I believe the secret here lies in the dough. It is simply unmatched by any other donut shop, not even the famous Hypnotic Donuts. Light and buttery, yet somehow still delightfully substantial, it's difficult to imagine how it could be any better. This quality is especially prominent on the "kolache" style items. The dough which enrobes these little sausages is somehow even tastier than that of the donuts. Must try breakfast items: ham, egg, and cheese sandwich and the jalapeño "kolache". Must try donuts: all of them! If you like cream filled donuts, be sure to try them here, because their cream filling is just as fantastic as the rest of their offerings! read more

2016 Yelp 100 Challenge Review #38 I had a hankering for some donuts. I did a quick Yelp search and wa-la! This place is a typical donut shop. They have a clean interior with a few two-tops which is nice in case you want to sit and savor each bite. I like their beverage case offerings. They have about three or four of them loaded with a wide selection which I like. They have Starbucks Frappuccino drinks, milk (white, chocolate and strawberry), lots of different juices and juice blends along with bottled water. The service was good. Nothing special but nothing lacking. I got a chocolate- and maple- glazed donut, cinnamon twist, an old fashioned blueberry, egg, ham and cheese croissants and pigs-in-a-blanket. I like that they have croissant sandwiches. They warm them up for you if you like. Donuts were standard, what I'd expect. The only thing that I did not like is how they packaged my donuts. I mentioned I had glazed donuts and they put them in small bags with another donut which of course creates stickiness amongst the donuts or with the bag. I know I kept adding to my order but either they could have put a wax paper in between or made the decision to just give me a box. I may be back but I am not committed. May try other local shops when the craving hits me again. read more

So I was looking for a Shipley's which Rockwall doesn't have. So glad I found this gem! My 3 yo is the pickiest donut connoisseur and he loved this place! They had lots of choices and they were fresh and delicious! He had two pinks with sprinkles and four "Baby" kolaches (mini). I had plain glazed because I'm an old school purist and a croissant kolache. They were delicious! read more

I'm not sure what they do differently, but their donuts are a step above the typical strip center donut shop. The glazed donuts are incredible. It does cost a little more than other shops, but it's worth it. Also, don't plan on eating at the shop if you have more than one kid-there are only two small tables. read more

I'm not sure how they do it, but this place is amazing. The kolaches and donuts are both awesome. When on vacation, we usually search out famous or well known donut stores. They never seem to compare to our humble Donut Station. The owners are always friendly and include free samples with our order. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews on here as it is always pretty busy, but the lines moves quickly. read more
