its starbucks right, ( I know all you coffee aficionados are complaining now but work with me) and so they have the std drinks and std food servings. I'm assuming we all know this by now and so I'm rating them exclusively on service. I was in here to get some coffee to knock me out of my somnolent state and these guys have to be the nicest bunch I have had serve me at a Starbucks in a while. I was beyond spaced out when i got here, and seriously discombobulated. The barrista was very helpful and that fact he even figured out my rambling of an order and got it right is always a plus. He paired my coffee with the righ sugary confectionery to get my caffeine jolt an additional sugar high ! :) I know people can be so reckless ! The place was clean, the food was fresh, the coffee hit the spot. Woot woot ! I'd def come back if I'm in the neighborhood. read more

This place is hoppin! It's the bees knees! It's the happenin place to be! LOL! Okay, I'll stop :D But seriously, I really am a fan of this location. Indoors they have seating AND unlike most places, they actually have light sockets that you can use by some of the tables against the wall :) Sometimes I need to recharge (literally!) & I appreciate that kind of stuff, lol. There is also a cool little corner with comfy chairs just begging for a book club meeting or some gossip ;) There are some outdoor tables and those not in the shade have umbrellas to keep you from frying to a little crisp. The drinks, like always, are great. Service is good, quick and friendly. Going back to the 'hoppin', I wasn't kidding. I have yet to come into this place and not find it at least 1/2 full. read more

Before Starbucks saturated the market in non-traditional locations such as grocers, airports, and university campuses, it was one of the first things I researched before I traveled to any new city. In fact, my first job in college was as a Barista, where I learned the art of brewing espresso on Thursday nights for students on break between classes, studying, or on late night coffee runs. There's comfort knowing that a venti, skim, non-fat, no foam, hazelnut latte, will be the same product I've come to know and love regardless of the Starbucks site. Seating--they have a pair of comfy seats in the corner perfect for secluded conversations or pouring over good reading material. Several tables outside are protected from piercing sunrays by the structural design of the building. Very few smokers frequent this shop, so you may enjoy your caffenated beverage without being assaulted by smoke. Outlets--if your laptop battery longevity, you'll appreciate the numerous outlets all over the store. Heck, they even have outlets near the ceiling. The purpose of those outlets is unclear but who cares? They HAVE outlets. Ambiance--the background music is soft, the lighting is low, and the furniture consists mostly of chestnut colored tables for 2. The store is painted in earthly greens, browns and other neutral tones. Hours--A lil early this one closes @ 9:30PM nightly. Drive thru--avoid this queue at all costs between 7-8:30AM. WiFi--Without a contract with T-Mobile, you can get online for $6 p/hour or $9.99 for a 24-hour period. read more

I don't want to leave a bad review because the staff is so friendly at this location but this store has gone down hill. My husband and I use to order drinks every morning from here but the coffee has become so inconsistent that we go maybe once a month now. The staff at this location is a revolving door and you never know what your drink is going to taste like. read more

This is a nice Starbucks but it is close to Sun City West and Sun City Grand so watch out for old people. If you are young and sit down to enjoy your coffee here the old folks will be downright rude and nasty. I was taught from a young age to respect my elders but these elders are taking things too far. They act like they own the place. I had sat down in a padded chair and an elderly woman walked up and shoved her walker right in front of me then curtly said, "you don't mind if I sit here do you?" Um, yes, actually I do! I was here first. Then her friend took my drink instead of hers. So I had to leave my seat and wait twice as long for my drink. And the old lady got her drink and my drink for free, ridiculous! read more

I frequent several Starbucks, but mostly, when I am in Surprise, I drive further out of my way to go to this one due to the individuals that work there. Anthony is consistently pleasurable, always calm under pressure and just cool in general. He should be teaching their training workshops! Samantha and Cindy are both awesome and have such friendly smiles. Ultimately, none of their staff makes me feel like a jerk for my part in creating a long line and ordering a coffee ;-) read more

My usual is a triple espresso, sometimes I add some steamed milk to it. Customer service is usually nice, but sometimes when I visit, Laura the redhead is there. She is not a personable person in the least. She always has a scowl on her face, and she barks at you for your order. Laura will always find a way to belittle you when you try to order and make you feel stupid. Customer service requires that you always have a smile on your face, and be cheery. If you aren't happy with your job, maybe you should've done something more with your life instead of taking it out on people. read more

I had really good luck at this location until today, I needed a before work pick me up. I asked for a matcha tea with almond milk...nothing I haven't ordered before and it came to me lumpy, unmixed and powdery. I attempted to mix it myself and made a big mess and the end result...well, it was WAY to much matcha powder and undrinkable. I would have had them remake it but I was already running late to work. In result had a horrible shift at work with 80+ kids and no caffeine in my life. read more

Super fast service, nice outdoor seating. Great spot to meet someone off 301 and Hwy 60.

The past four out of five times have been exceptional, and the one left wasn't even bad! Nicole, Justin, Anthony, and one other girl with incredible eye makeup are amazing. They showed great appreciation for a small tip that I never saw as a big deal, but I received sweet notes on my cups a few times (: My order has never been wrong and it's always completed in a timely manner. This is my new go to coffee spot on my way to work. read more

I ordered a venti dragon drink and at the window they gave me a grande and I told them it was the wrong size they took my drink back and just poured it into a venti cup. They could have at least put a lot of ice in the venti cup to make it look fuller instead of handing me a half full drink. read more

UPDATE: Starbucks is now offering these delicious little breakfast treats that are simply DELICIOUS! They are breakfast sandwiches: Bacon, Egg and Gouda/ Veggie, Egg and Monterey Jack/Sausage, Egg and Cheddar/Reduced Fat Turkey Bacon, Egg and White Cheddar. So far, I have enjoyed the Bacon, Egg and Gouda served on a ciabatta roll and the Sausage, Egg and Cheddar served on a whole wheat english muffin. Both are SO delicious. Whether you dine in or get the sandwich to go, they will heat it up to perfection! The sandwich will be PIPPING hot, but not enough to make it soggy--there is still plenty of crispy goodness where there should be. Enjoy with a cup of coffee (or my fav) a Soy Chai Tea and you'll be well on your way to a LOVELY day! read more

Coffee was fairly good. The good thing with Starbucks is no matter where you are, you have a good idea of what to expect. It's not my favorite coffee in the world, but it does the trick and there are worse you can choose. I usually grab their dark roast with a couple shots of french vanilla with enough room left for a bit of half & half with a couple packets of sugar. If you get a chance grab one of their cinnamon crumb coffee cakes, good stuff! read more

I have been coming to this location for well over a year. I can never get a consistent drink here. I either order a venti iced vanilla latte with 2 stevia or a Trenta iced coffee with extra heavy cream. I always get a cup that isn't full; no stevia added, or I get a little coffee in a cup of cream (disgusting had to pour out my $4.11 in the middle of the 60). For the prices they charge you would think they would take a little time to try to get your drink right, especially for those of us that are loyal customers. As for customer service I have always had great customer service at this location from everyone except Pat (she is always at the drive thru). She is rude, impatient and when asked a question about an order or pricing or stars she always responds with something indicating I did something wrong. I'm not sure how long she's worked for starbucks but I've been a customer for 20+ years. I know how to use my app, I know how to order my drinks, I know what price I pay everyday for the same 2 drinks I order. She shouldn't be at the window. Seriously considering making another location my go to place. read more

This store has spiraled downhill. The constant turnover of personnel and the lack of product knowledge doesn't help. Have ordered the same drink, almost daily, for several years so the price should be the same. Unfortunately, I'm charged 3 different amounts and it depends on who is taking the order. When pricing is questioned, the only explanation given is, "it's policy". Still can't determine what the correct price should be for a specific drink. read more

I just want to note that whoever works the night shift does a great job at being consistent with the drinks. I went through the drive thru this morning, ordered a Venti Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso--normally the Venti has 4 shots (but every time I come here in the morning/afternoon it seems like they free pour the espresso. I asked if they could only do 3 shots in hopes that they wouldn't make it extremely strong...WRONG, she handed me the drink and it was so dark (a little less than half the venti cup was black). I asked if they could remake the drink, i then watched the girl just pour it into another cup. So when they say, " If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your food or beverage item, let us know and we'll gladly remake it for you" what they really mean is "we'll just pour it into another cup and not really remake it for you". I should also note, this drink is on the menu, I'm not ordering a secret menu drink for it to be this inconsistent. It blows my mind that I pay $6.25 just to leave with an unpleasant drink. It would make more sense if it were a McDonald's coffee or only $3.00. Go to the Starbucks on Bell & 303 or go here at night. read more

Why does it take so long to get a darn coffee? Oh there are 10 golf carts going through the drive thru and all of them have a dog also getting a drink. Honestly I feel bad for the employees here as the manager (young guy) is pretty rude to the employees right in front of customers and these poor people probably make very little in tips due to the elderly neighborhood. I don't go to Starbucks often but when I do they sweeten my tea everytime when we say no sweetener! Iv said unsweetened, no sweetener, not with sweetener nothing works then always put the crap in there. So annoying, I'll stick to sunsational from now on. read more

My company and I visit this store multiple times a week spending a couple hundred dollars because they are the closest. Unfortunately they move the slowest and have the WORST customer service. We dealt with it for a while because of the close location --- until I went to the drive thru and an employee literally turned her back to me while I was asking for clarification on something where I ended up paying $25 just for two drinks because of a cash and app mix up. She had such an unprofessional attitude and when I asked to speak to a manager I was told "uhhh, he like has the drawer open and can't leave so you can like wait." The manager was dismissive and said he would "talk to her" and definitely did not deliver the customer service I'm used to at Starbucks (like the one on Bell and Grand - SUPERB). Definitely will be taking the extra few minutes to order coffee for myself and my coworkers from another location. read more

My wife and I stopped in this location today for an iced caramel macciato because we were in the area and we love these drinks. The place was busy, but that is not a huge deal because Starbucks is a big name and has good drinks. The service was prompt and friendly. They were adequately staffed for a Sunday morning rush. Our drinks came up with a standard wait. However these drinks did not taste very good to either of us. Mind you this is the only drink we get when we stop at Starbucks so we know it very well. We tasted each other's and they did not taste right. Mine was a quad shot and there was not a difference in the taste of either. Usually mine tastes stronger. The price was no different than any other Starbucks but the quality was less. Maybe it was just a bad day for them. I would try this location one more time and modify my review if the quality is any better. read more
