This location was packed when my 10 year old granddaughter & I stopped in to warm up. She enjoys visiting campus & plans to attend after graduating high school. The girl who took our order was so sweet. She brought the reindeer cake pop out to my granddaughter versus handing it over the counter. She talked to her for just a minute about campus life & how important grades are. My granddaughter was beaming! We took our hot chocolate on the road. The ambiance is nice, I enjoy ordering from here instead of the Starbucks in the UConn bookstore, even though I usually only grab and go.

It's one of the best place where I am drinking coffee but they are providing same taste each time, still like them compared to other locations because of ambiance and service. read more

They always get my order right and the baristas are rather polite. They'd prefer you to ask for a hot sleeve rather than just grab one, this Starbucks hasn't put out straws and sleeves yet like the all the others one I go to and they are all still wearing masks. Part of being a Starbucks in a college town includes super long lines... Aside from the long waits and the difficulty of obtaining a table, this sbux is great. No wifi limits and great study environment. They also feature different art each month which is pretty awesome. I come to this Starbucks every single day. I either need a vent iced caramel cold brew or a half passion tea green tea to help me with my studies! This is where The key to success is ordering on the Starbucks app so you don't have to wait in line. There has been multiple times where the line has been out the door and I ordered through my app and got to cut the entire line! The customer service is amazing. The workers are outstanding with remembering my name and order depending on what time of the day it is. I come here at least 5 times a week to study and drink some refreshers. I get free re-refills on my tea with my starbucks app when I stick around and do homework. It is a great study environment, I usually have headphones in my ears because of the blender and the workers calling out names for peoples drinks. The backgound music is usually very good studying music. People are usually respectful of others doing their work so they are not too loud! The unlimited wifi is my favorite :) There is great consistency with the drinks. The cold brew always tastes bold and strong. The iced black tea lemonade with a scoop of matcha is a little pricey, but I recommend it if you are trying to focus on your work! I also recommend the green tea frappacinno, it is perfect for a hot day, while the matcha helps you focus, and the delightful sweet mixture enhances your taste buds! This is the closest traditional Starbucks to campus, as there is another in Price Chopper but without the cafe aspect. You also can't redeem star rewards there. But I digress. I've had challenges parking in this area because the owner of the building is a little crazy about dealing with people who park but don't go to those businesses. Last year, my partner and I parked there - he walked to dunks and I walked to Starbucks before being verbally accosted by a parking lot attendant who wouldn't listen to a word I said and told us that we could explain it to T&B after our car was towed. I was very angry because I was going to Starbucks. I told him that and he still didn't listen. After complaining to the Mansfield Community Partnership I was fortunate to hear back from the owner who apologized profusely and stated that the person who I spoke with was "not prepared to handle a situation as complex" as mine. I decided I wasn't going to frequent those businesses anymore. Recently, though, I got a gift card to Starbucks for the holidays so I've been back a few times. Their sandwiches were delicious - and their coffee is consistently good. The staff is friendly and the environment is cozy. I'd totally recommend this Starbucks - just be weary of the parking. read more

They changed their interior and it is very spacious and clean! Now the customers can actually see how their coffee is made! More comfortable sofas and tables. The staffs have always been nice here. If you are not a coffee drinker, try their tazo teas -- green tea, passion tea, chai tea, you name it. Their bakeries are worth trying, although some of them are bit expensive. The frappuchinos have so many flavors -- try any one of them and you will surely fall in love with them. read more

A Starbucks you can always count on. I've brought my laptop here and sat for literally 7 hours, feeling completely at ease. They have completely rearranged the interior recently, perhaps Mid-June? The place is already large to begin with, but now it feels so OPEN inside--very roomy. There's a significant amount of space between the seating/lounge area and the line. So if you're relaxing there, you dont have to deal with people coming and going around you. And lots of people sit out in front in the outdoor seating area. I like the local art on the walls. People who work there are super friendly and very quick with orders. They dont have a large selection of items you can purchase though, like cups, mugs etc. And there's almost no selection of bags of coffee beans/grounds to make at home. But still, 5 stars! read more

I've got to say that this is one of the biggest Starbucks I've been to. There is a ton of ample seating, lighting, and plugs. The baristas are super friendly and nice. They like to joke with the customers and get through long lines very quickly. However, I have to dock 2 stars because the wifi there is terrible. As far as Starbucks goes and being a former partner (barista) myself I have to say this Sbux just can't handle volume. Messing up drinks and not following proper procedure when making sandwiches so you're stuck waiting for the oven for awhile if you get something that needs to be nuked.
