I went to my local Starbucks this morning for a Caramel Macchiato and an Impossible Breakfast Sandwich. The staff was very friendly and even helped me choose my drink as I was a bit indecisive. The sandwich was nice and warm immediately and tasted very nice. However it was Way too expensive for its small size. The macchiato was very warm and delicious! It was also nice and big and much more worth the price! I took my food home but the atmosphere of the building was quite nice, with seating both inside and outside. Overall a very nice experience, I'll likely return for the coffee and other drinks as they're well made and worth their price, but I cannot recommend the food options as they're just too expensive for what you're getting! read more

In the past I have had issues with drink quality, and didn't want to come back, but with the Los Altos store being closed (temporarily) I decided to give this location another try. On this day 12/13, I tried to do a mobile, order but the store was not listed. I went on the webpage, no mobile orders available (really?). I decided to head to the location, drive through only, so I go through drive through. Half a dozen cars ahead of me (not uncommon). I try to place my order (no peppermint syrup), ok so I try to get a tray of cranberry bliss (they were out), so I don't want anything, but have to sit in the drive through for awhile. Side note: I went to the Los Altos location on Wednesday, mobile ordered the items I couldn't get at this location, went through the drive through and received them both as expected. read more

So my wife and I were thirsty so we made a quick stop by the local Starbucks location at about 7:15-7:30pm So as we walked into the emptiness of this store which kinda shocked me but I was able to see why, as we approached the counter the employees were not really engaging with the customers as they were talking amongst each other for roughly a few mins of standing there, there was no recommendations made, no upselling or anything out of these three whom were all about themselves. Now I see why the store was empty, now after we got up to the front to order this happen. My wife doesnt go to SB much but she loves a certain drink (Vanilla bean frappuccino with a fresh banana an caramel drizzle) but as shes ordering the guy behind the counter was kinda a prick or A-Hole towards her when she asked about the sizes because she doesnt come here much he replies with an asshole tone "Small,Medium,Large will work" wit a stupid look on his face. She then asked for a Vanilla bean frappuccino with a fresh banana and without waiting he then says "We dont carry bananas no more" without letting her finish or saying excuse me he just interrupts and goes off but instead of recommending something else or something he just goes back to his conversation with the girls there. Since staff would always tell me to just drive through without notice, I did so today. However, the lady with purple hair working the window somehow lectured me to give them notice. This is another location that blasts its music way too loud. The lobby where customers sit is on the other side of a wall from the counter, and the speakers are set as far away from the counter as can possibly be managed. Yet still the employees are determined to hear the music loud and clear behind the counter over the sound of refrigerators, microwaves, coffee grinders, espresso machines, and an assortment of other noises associated with preparing food and drinks of all kinds. For the employees to hear the music loud and clear over all that behind the counter, the music has to be turned up incredibly loud in the lobby to the point that customers who may actually want enjoy a pleasant environment where they might be able to think and work on a piece of writing are forced to have their brains sonically hammered clean out of their skulls. I just can't comprehend the complete insensitivity toward the customer that pervades Starbucks employee culture. So, another single star. I wish there were other kinds of coffee houses in this immediate area. Guess I'm giving up on getting any writing done and getting the **** out of here. I Usually drive through Starbucks but today I had to use the facilities so I went inside. I ordered my usual iced blueberry black tea no liquid cane sugar two pumps sugar-free vanilla. It was not very busy. I used the restroom, came back out and waited and waited and waited for my ice tea. While waiting, another lady asked where her egg bites were. She already had drank 1/3 of her venti tea and still no food. It appeared that the 2 young men "working" were too busy talking to a young girl to fill orders. So I came in this morning through the drive thru and when I got to the window I was greeted by a huge smile and a great attitude by an employee named Matt. He was very energetic and pleasant. I only had a $100 bill and before he took it he said he had to check if he could break it. He came back to the window and in the nicest way possible said they couldn't break the $100 and asked if i had another way to pay. I said unfortunately I didn't but I could go to a store super fast and break it and come back and before I even had a chance to finish this amazing guy paid for my coffee. I just got out of the hospital this morning and this coffee was all I was looking forward to, and this guy took it upon himself to make sure I had it. I couldn't thank him enough.
