Staff greeted me and promptly took my order. They got my order out quickly too. I had the chocolate pistachio loaf (warmed) and the iced banana bread matcha. The loaf is delicious! Perfect amount of chocolate and pistachio flavors. Would highly recommend having it warmed. The iced banana bread matcha tasted good, but I wouldn't say it's a balanced drink. The banana bread flavor, while tasty; overpowered the matcha to the point where it tasted more like a banana smoothie than a matcha drink. The texture also left little to be desired. I'd recommend the lavender matcha over this drink. This location doesn't have a ton of seating, but if you need somewhere to sit and enjoy your drink and/or food, this is a good location. The WiFi isn't good, so I wouldn't plan to do work or study here if you require internet. read more

Stopping by the Starbucks on Midvale Avenue North today, Monday 11 September 2023, I arrived to find the interior quiet and calm. A few customers were sitting inside and outside and there was not a line for placing an order. After coming through here a number of times growing up as part of a church group in which most people ordered drinks, I decided to deviate from the past and order a couple of the bakery items. I went with a baked apple croissant and cinnamon coffee cake, both of which I got warmed up. The worker who took my order also warmed the items up and handed me the bags when the items were ready. The combined price with tax was less than $8 for both items. Other customers were mindful and I was in and out quickly. The croissant was flaky, rich, and moist. The pastry was in a muffin-ish shape with seasoned apple chunks at the top of the croissant with the croissant corners folded on top, which kind of made it feel like I was opening a present as I ate it. For the coffee cake, the top was not too crumbly and the cake was buttery. Cinnamon was subtle. I enjoyed both items and found each to be a good serving size. read more

The Starbucks that I always use, since it is close to my work. I went in this morning as I needed a few 5's in cash: I asked them to smash me a 20. People I knew, and with whom I interacted frequently responded that they'll do that only with purchase. I am in almost daily, but sure of course, whatever they can do to jack up the corporate profits! Instead they've lost me as a customer. I'll give my business to Pilgrim instead: they're closer and the staff is by far more appreciative of their customers, not to speak that their coffee is cheaper. This store is extremely understaffed. We ordered two coffees and have been waiting 26 minutes, with only one served so far. We won't be coming back--it's too busy, and the wait is too long. Save yourself the trouble and head to the Starbucks drive-thru by Costco instead. read more

This is hands down, the BEST Starbucks I have ever been to. Right in my neighborhood. I go almost every day, order my daily Double Smoked Bacon Sandwich and Venti Caramel Macchiato Coffee. The manager, Susana is a hard working rockstar who always says hello to everyone & is so easy to talk with! Then there is Miranda, John, Mel, Kara and Laura whom all know me by name, face, and order! They never assume I want the same thing every day, but always ask and it makes me smile that they do this for al their regulars! Last week, John & Miranda saw me walk past the shop (I was headed to post office at other end of area) and by the time I came back 2 minutes later, they had my sandwich & coffee already made & ready for me! I was so happy! They really go out of their way to be the best, and treat others with respect. Yes they get slammed, yes they get short staffed sometimes, and yes the make drinks wrong-they are all human. Compared to other Starbucks locations, I've been to these counter baristas are very pleasant. No matter how crowded and slammed they can get, always smiling and friendly. I don't think I could manage that. Usually I'm an indie cafe person. However, after combining all of my gift cards received and using the rewards system, it's becomes a great deal and a convenient stop. My consistent favorites include: venti iced black teas, chicken sandwiches with the positive affirmation statements, chorizo breakfast sandwiches, and the chocolate croissants. Totally amazed how low key it is this morning....probably because everyone are at the malls and box stores for Black Friday. I'm just chilling, Yelping, and have a bit of breakfast before watching the Apple Cup. Plus love their retro Motown R&B soundtrack, reminds me of my late father as the holiday season has commenced. Plus Starbucks got its start in Seattle before it became a global phenomenon as a 'third place'. I love their consistency and customer service at this location. read more

Ran into this Starbucks to grab a San Pellegrino blood orange and a bottle of water while doing errands. Super fast and easy to run in and out even though they were busy. Tons of parking and easy to find in the BECU strip mall. Cashier was friendly and quick. Ladies restroom was clean but the hand dryer needs to be fixed. read more

Availability at the limited locations that offer it has been spotty ever since it was introduced. Fix the problem stop making excuses. Something about the Baristas here that make you feel welcomed. Hard working and all so very friendly. Also provide quick In and out service but leave you going out the door with a smile as he connection they made with you also goes along with you .The 185th store off Aurora ave has a nice lobby and they do a good job maintaining cleanliness! Was going to give it 4 stars until we had a negative experience. This is a larger Starbucks - went on a Saturday morning and the store was full but they were fully staffed. Gal who took orders was nice - we had lots of drinks and food to order. Drinks were coming quickly and DH asked for a couple of drink carriers. They were sopping wet on the bottom - so he gave them back to the gal telling her they weren't usuable. Wow - did she take it personally - gave him the MAJOR stink eye - yanked em from his hand, then acted like she was getting more and handed them back to him! My local 'Bux. The baristas here are extremely nice; they always take a moment to chat and ask how my day's going. The store is clean, and comfortable, and there's outdoor seating in the summer. It's got the new retro-style look that some Starbucks stores have, complete with a little bar area with chairs that let you watch the shots being pulled. For extra adventure, walk to the liquor store a few stores down and buy a little bottle of Starbucks liqueur to add to your latte. :) read more

I go here pretty regularly because its one of the better starbucks in the northern seattle area and ive been to almost all of them around here. There is a woman there named Natalie who is a freaking rockstar at what she does. She always is super outgoing and helpful and you can commonly find her working behind the register taking your order. One of the few baristas that actually listens to your order so you dont have to repeat yourself over and over. You can tell she enjoys what she does for work. Coffee is always hot and good. Very consistent taste which is somthing you cant say about alot of starbucks around here. 5 stars for sure! read more

I like the Starbucks in Shoreline, Washington next to Magic Dragon restaurant. Even though it's so small inside, it's sort of crowded. But they are very friendly in the morning, it's good to go. I know that Starbucks is pretty busy in the afternoon and night time too. They are very friendly to handicap people too. I went there every Thursday when I helped the Special Ed students go to Starbucks, help them what they want for their drink. But I hated the customers there, they were so mean!!! Especially the oldies who always made fun of the Special Ed students. They would say stuff like "How disgraceful. Trying to make me lose an appetite, they're so uglies!" It is rare that an employee lends a genuine smile if one is lucky to get a courtesy smile from them. The place can be unkempt (though, I must say, the bathrooms are kept fairly clean) - don't understand the clutter/mess at the end of counter on the left. I stopped into this Starbucks recently on the way to Costco. It's in a strip mall area off Aurora with ample parking. Got my usual snack, the spinach feta egg white wrap, and an iced coffee. Both were just fine and the restroom was clean. The only kind of weird thing about this Starbucks is the layout. The store is very long and narrow and there aren't many tables inside, mostly just stools along a counter. This is not the most comfortable arrangement for sitting down to have a conversation. If it's warm outside though, there are a couple tables outside. read more
