Way to expensive now Seattle's crazy $26 minimum wage for baristas is insane. So a barista makes as much as a 2-year college grad. And there's no skill in barista-ing any more. They just push buttons, add millk, pour syrups and they want a living wage for that. No way. $8.50 for a double tall mocha with one extra shot. $0.79 for a double tall mocha with two double shots at my home, with my new Cyelic 20-bar espresso maker. That makes the choice pretty easy. I can see getting a coffee from Starbucks if you are on your way to work and have a lot of extra cash to spend though. But not everyday. At the previous rate that would come out to $250 a month, some. Whoa!

I've been here several times and overall the experience is pretty good- ultimately it depends on who serves you but most of the staff are nice. They have a drive in as well. They keep the place clean and they have all of the usual Starbucks food.

Brand new Starbucks located at Parkwood Plaza in Shoreline opened on 12/29/18, where the former Wendy's then Broiler Bay Burgers used to be. I decided to check it out on New Year's Day after watching the Rose Bowl. Former building was demolished and a new location arose and now visible from Aurora / Hwy 99 proximate to long time strip mall anchors, Shari's and JoAnn's. Another positive addition to create a bit of a third place or neighborhood hangout with all the usual cafe amenities like WiFi, chess board site, as examples. I prefer coffee indies, but a new Starbucks with both indoor/outdoor seating and drive through is always better than nothing. There's ample parking surrounding the drive through and definitely a convenient location with access points from Aurora, 152nd by Arcane Comics, and 155th by Safeway. Friendly counter crew, decent food selection, variety of available seating, bright and high ceilings will definitely make this a draw. Minus a star because my grande mocha was a bit too sweet (note to self) and the interior was a bit too well used from the get go...tables needed a wipe down and visible discarded straw wrappers on chairs and on the ground. Another strategically placed trash/recycle/compost station, perhaps? Welcome Starbucks to the Westminister Triangle and Parkwood neighborhoods in Shoreline! After my initial visit as a long time resident, I like the configuration and viable opportunity to foster the sense of community. (above Yelp post from 1/1/19, reposted on 3/7/19) 3/4/19 stopped in around 0730 to redeem an accrued freebie, my favorite entrée salad. Seems Shoreline Police likes this location too for a meeting. 3/7/19 stopped in around 1700 to decompress after my workday with my favorite triente iced black tea. It was nice to see this location busy with the drive through and hopping with activity within.

    Seasonal drink, super yummy!

Go to Starbucks! Busy as usual, but order ahead and it makes for a perfect pick up or eat in. Friendly and efficient staff.

I'm not a big Starbucks fan since I'm not a big fan of coffee however I'm glad they have a new nice location here in shoreline. They have a drive through and is a great small spot to bring a laptop to work. The coffee I ordered was good, can't compare since I don't go to Starbucks that often.

    Horribly made coffee

Anytime i've ever ordered from this location, they never stir in the white mocha in my drinks and they always pull the shots over the ice making it extra watery with heavy amounts of caked on white mocha at the bottom of the cup. As baristas, would you make your drink this way? Like would you leave the white mocha at the bottom or would you stir it in? Its incredibly frustrating having to fix my own coffee everytime when i paid for it to be made this way in the first place. I think some retraining is in order for your entire team. ***I ordered an iced espresso not a latte. The cup should not be full.

    Breakfast!

I tried the gluten-free trailblazer cookie, and it was absolutely delicious. Loved all the additions to it to make it a more robust cookie. I also had the lavender latte which was tasty and not too strong a lavender taste.

I've tried a lot of banh mi spots in California, and this place easily compares to some of the best…read morespots in the San Gabriel Valley. First off, the variety is impressive. They have a wide range of banh mi fillings, from the classics to some harder to find options like roast pork, so there's something for everyone. My personal favorite is the crispy roast pork banh mi. The pork has that perfect crackly skin with juicy, flavorful meat underneath. Paired with the pickled veggies, fresh cilantro, and a light spread of mayo on a crusty baguette, it hits all the right textures and flavors. I also love the special banh mi with all the different meats. It's basically the greatest hits lineup with savory cold cuts, pâté, and other cured meats layered together for a rich, satisfying bite every time. It's hearty without being overwhelming, and the balance of fresh and savory components is spot on. And don't skip the drinks. The egg coffee was surprisingly excellent. The Vietnamese coffee base had a deep, bold flavor with that classic slightly bitter edge, and the creamy whipped egg topping added a smooth, lightly sweet contrast. It felt indulgent but still very coffee forward. Overall, this is a great banh mi spot for me with the great variety, tasty sandwiches, and a standout egg coffee to round it all out. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for a quality banh mi.
