Way to expensive now Seattle's crazy $26 minimum wage for baristas is insane. So a barista makes as much as a 2-year college grad. And there's no skill in barista-ing any more. They just push buttons, add millk, pour syrups and they want a living wage for that. No way. $8.50 for a double tall mocha with one extra shot. $0.79 for a double tall mocha with two double shots at my home, with my new Cyelic 20-bar espresso maker. That makes the choice pretty easy. I can see getting a coffee from Starbucks if you are on your way to work and have a lot of extra cash to spend though. But not everyday. I've been here several times and overall the experience is pretty good- ultimately it depends on who serves you but most of the staff are nice. They have a drive in as well. They keep the place clean and they have all of the usual Starbucks food. read more

Starbucks is fantastic! it's too bad their doors aren't Ada accessible. it would be nice to be able to push a button to have the doors open when goin in/out. I often see a customer coming in a power chair and has to wait for someone to help her with the door every time. Other than that the food/drinks here are top notch. The ambiance is welcoming and now it's going into the cold seasons and it's so warm and inviting inside. The employees are so welcoming, happy, and smiling. I was driving threw this drive threw with my boyfriend and a man who was SUPER high on drugs started walking around our car before we started saying our order, so we decided to drive up to the window to order up there. my bf says "a homeless man was circling our car and so we were wondering if we could order up here" and the lady was giving THE RUDEST LOOK and was like "umm no u can't ur going to half to drive back around and slammed the window. she looked OFFENDED BY IT!!! like girl what??? how do you even take that personally and get offended?? no other starbucks in seattle would have a problem with that smh. it was a short haired blonde young lady who was obviously offended by the word "homeless" or something. read more

This is my go to Starbucks and I love the coffee and the staff. BUT the new lid is the worst design yet! It's easy to spill out and get soggy around the sipping hole. Hopefully they will go back to the original design cuz this is not it. 5 stars for customer service and quality of coffee but rating the lid 1 star. read more

Brand new Starbucks located at Parkwood Plaza in Shoreline opened on 12/29/18, where the former Wendy's then Broiler Bay Burgers used to be. I decided to check it out on New Year's Day after watching the Rose Bowl. Former building was demolished and a new location arose and now visible from Aurora / Hwy 99 proximate to long time strip mall anchors, Shari's and JoAnn's. Another positive addition to create a bit of a third place or neighborhood hangout with all the usual cafe amenities like WiFi, chess board site, as examples. I prefer coffee indies, but a new Starbucks with both indoor/outdoor seating and drive through is always better than nothing. There's ample parking surrounding the drive through and definitely a convenient location with access points from Aurora, 152nd by Arcane Comics, and 155th by Safeway. Friendly counter crew, decent food selection, variety of available seating, bright and high ceilings will definitely make this a draw. Minus a star because my grande mocha was a bit too sweet (note to self) and the interior was a bit too well used from the get go...tables needed a wipe down and visible discarded straw wrappers on chairs and on the ground. Another strategically placed trash/recycle/compost station, perhaps? Welcome Starbucks to the Westminister Triangle and Parkwood neighborhoods in Shoreline! After my initial visit as a long time resident, I like the configuration and viable opportunity to foster the sense of community. I'm not a big Starbucks fan since I'm not a big fan of coffee however I'm glad they have a new nice location here in shoreline. They have a drive through and is a great small spot to bring a laptop to work. The coffee I ordered was good, can't compare since I don't go to Starbucks that often. read more

Normally very patient with Starbucks... with the drink quality and the staff. I have been here 3 times in the past week or so and the quality of my partner and I's drinks are horrible. What happened to the drink recipes and the quality control. Had about 5 cars behind me waiting for drinks in the drive thru, and we hadn't been checked out until we had already waited 5 min. I was charged for extra cold foam and got a minuscule amount of bubbles on the top my drink and way too milky. Cold brew is simple. Money down the drain and a drink. read more

Have only visited a few times, last 2 times were bad. My app which said i had over $7 was scanned by the barista, she then said she scanned it by mistake/not my order, then she asked if I wanted to use my stars as I only had 40 cents on the card...there was nothing in my transactions, but after she scanned my $7 disappeared so I had to use my stars to buy my drink. Then next time I tried to use a gift card I received from a different starbucks for an overcharge. The barista said the giftcard was no good (it says right on the card "the next one is on us") and the barista asked how much was on the card, I said $4.00, which it clearly indicates on the back of the card. He would not accept the card. I find this very unusual for Starbucks, they historically have been very accommodating. I went back to my usual starbucks at 130th and 99 and they of course accepted the card and gave me my free drink. Beyond this the drinks tasted fine but they are not friendly here like they are down at the 130th and 99 store, they are much nicer at that store. read more

Anytime i've ever ordered from this location, they never stir in the white mocha in my drinks and they always pull the shots over the ice making it extra watery with heavy amounts of caked on white mocha at the bottom of the cup. As baristas, would you make your drink this way? Like would you leave the white mocha at the bottom or would you stir it in? Its incredibly frustrating having to fix my own coffee everytime when i paid for it to be made this way in the first place. I typically love this Starbucks location. Had my first bad experience because they (Chloe) lied about being closed. They close at 7pm on Sundays. I was at the drive they and my daughter ran in tonite the bathroom. Chloe told her sorry there closed. She got in the car after I ordered.
