The coffee itself is fine, just like most Starbucks taste, but the drive thru is horrendous. It always takes forever, even when they aren't busy. Bad days, it can take up to 20 minutes. The parking lot is tiny, so you have to pray there's an empty spot or wait a long time in the drive thru. read more

Went through the drive-thru twice while staying at a hotel in the area the second time around I asked the gentleman nicely to take my old starbucks coffee cup from earlier that morning so that I can have room in my cup holder for the fresh coffee, he said no... so I said well I have nowhere else to put it, so I just left it on the drive-through counter for the lazy millennial, and he called me an a**hole while i drove away, very unprofessional. Weirdest/worst Starbucks I've been too yet... The bad: - they close the dining room often (see signs posted in photos) - smallest cluster f*ck of a parking lot ever- drive thru exits where their only 5 parking spots are. What idiot designed this??? - closed the dining room just before 7am. We were sitting in one of the tables in the back corner and one of the baristas was like "what are you doing here we're closed! Didn't you hear the commotion?" Nope. We did not. An announcement to the dining room and checking all the tables would have been more professional. Apparently ALL of their systems were down- wifi, POS, etc., so they had to close- I totally understand why, but the way they went about it just wasn't professional. Corporate/franchise owner needs to come fix this store. It sounded like this has happened before because I heard another barista shout "tell them to fix our store!" to another customer she had to turn away ( I think the customer was a regular?) The good: - drink was made correctly - 4 larger tables good for studying/working. My fiancée and I both brought our laptops and were able to actually sit at the same table comfortably. I probably won't be back to this Starbucks unless I'm super desperate. Good thing I don't live here or this would get old very quickly. read more

Worst freaking Starbucks Drive-thru EVER! A Drive-thru from hell! There ought to be some sort of warning. 20 minutes to go around a building. There are only 3 regular parking places too. With those you have to back onto the Drive-thru line to get out. Really an untenable situation. read more

I'd really like to give more than 3 stars simply because the baristas seem very enthusiastic and friendly. Unfortunately, the location just seriously blows chunks. The parking lot is somewhat difficult to get into/out of. More importantly is that the parking lot is WAY too small. There are about 5 spaces total, 2 of which are reserved for employees. It basically means you *have* to use the drive-through, which ends up crowding the overly tiny parking lot even more. read more

Wanted to clarify my order with the baristas then when I tried to call somebody at the counter to get their attention, one of the baristas looked at me and walked away. Terrible....they cant think outside the box and customize your drink without charging you for every little change. when I remove pumps of something and add a different syrup, dont charge me .50 unless youre going to take money off for the pumps I removed. Freezing! Definitely not a place to sit and study. I had an early morning car repair appointment and figured I'd come to this Starbucks to get some work done while waiting. It was absolutely freezing inside, and I moved around to several tables but each was right under an AC vent. The AC was on at 7am! I eventually went and sat in my car in the parking lot until my service appointment, and then just waited and did my work at the dealership. Also - the parking lot here is dreadful! read more

hailee helped us, right off the back bad attitude. I made the mistake and forgot to ask for no whip and apologized. She rolled her eyes and just shoved the next drink out the window so we would leave..I had no problem scooping the whip off myself but that's when I saw her hair wrapped around lid of my cup. After I brought it up , she wouldn't even look at us and closed the window when she knew we had a problem. This is the thunderdome parking lot. I've never had a more chaotic driving experience since navigating the circles of Paris in a Chevy S-10. The chaos is not very rewarding as this location seems to have trouble getting orders right and it's just not worth staying any longer than needed to try and fix it. While they are acceptable, I highly recommend traveling in any direction for a few minutes and enjoying a Starbucks where your gall won't dictate how soon you can park or get into the drive-thru line. read more

But they never have anything in stock for the food menu, which sucks because I'm on a 30 minute lunch & I go there & they don't have what I want so I waste my lunch going there in the first place. Every time we drive through Seaside we stop at this Starbucks for coffee and light snacks. The location is very convenient right near a major highway interchange. Note: parking can be a little tight. This is probably the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. They always seem to run out of anything I ask for. I was there today and was stuck in the drive-thru for 10-15 mins only to be told they didn't have honey for my tea. I said that was fine, and then I was told there was no tea left. I finally got to the window, could barely talk because I am sick, and all I got for waiting was an iced water. Who in their right mind offers someone who's sick and can barely talk, an iced water!?!! I have a love/hate relationship with this particular Starbucks location. Half the time they mess up my order, which especially annoying when I go through the drive thru and don't realize the error until I've pulled away from the window. Half the time they're on point. A drive-thru order of a Passion Tea Lemonade with half the sweetener was; first completely wrong when the initial drink handed to us was something completely different than the order, then after the correct drink was offered up we found out after driving away the sweetener level of the drink had dropped to zero this making the drink far less than enjoyable to drink. read more

Don't even think of making this a lets grab coffee spot with a friend; their parking lot doesn't hold more than 5 cars! After being unceremoniously ushered out of the Cannery Row Starbucks with at least 16 other customers (as this location closed at 9pm) my friend and I headed to the Seaside location. The Baristas were nice enough and the atmosphere just fine. Although they did make an error on the drink order we were so happy to see that they kept better evening hours.... Who'da thunk that in the middle of a tourist area - Cannery Row - that the Starbucks there would close so early?? This location in Seaside get props for hours and friendliness... I'm a regular Starbucks customer. But rarely ever to this location. Simply because, the customers service isn't that great & they're always running out of stuff (or they just don't want to make it so they say they don't have it) i went to this location twice in one week, the first time they said they didn't have anymore apple juice. The 2nd time they said they don't serve the passion teas warm? When I order it at other locations all the time. Which you can get the tea warm or iced. Idk, Very odd. It seems like they don't even know what they're doing half the time. If I were you I'd travel a few extra min to the Sand City location which is my favorite out of all of them. read more
