Holy overpriced boba. Just because you're new to the area and don't have much competition doesn't mean you can charge almost $10 for a single drink. The taro tasted nothing like taro. I've had plenty of taro drinks, and this honestly just tasted like flavored powder, similar to the ones from Noodle Bar or Chopstix. Same could be said for the horchata. The drinks also looked nothing like the photos, which was really disappointing. Toppings are also $1-$2 each. My family spent over $40 for 3 drinks... I also remember this place had a Bay Area location with pretty poor reviews, which is exactly why I never bothered trying it back then. It looks like that location has since closed. Only good thing is their service. Do yourself a favor and save your money. If you're willing to make the drive, there are so many better boba shops in San Jose that actually taste good and don't charge outrageous prices for mediocre drinks. read more

Ordered 3 combos (drink and spam musubi) + another drink totaling $60!! Drinks are expensive. Toppings are $1 each, average drinks are $9 is insane. The kids really enjoyed the Boba. The drinks were a little bit on the sweeter side. We were the first customers when they first ope. we ordered through the kiosk, and there was a crowd that was coming in after us. I didn't like how the orders behind us got served first. I understand that we had a large order, but I would recommend that two employees to work on the first order together to get the first customer out the door. We would come back if we are in the area as there are not a lot of other great Boba options available glad that they have one here! read more

What can I say a first time visitor I was first confused to how to view the menu but it's okay I was having a senior moment..lol ! To get to the point ordered the Dirty Ube Taro & Regular Ube Taro. The dirty ube has a mixture of explosive expresso w/ lychee amazing ! Ube Taro w/ lychees, WOW! Addiction has been created for both drinks it's a bit pricey but once you've tasted it the overall price doesn't matter. The flavor is very "ONO" Just remember I ate the Spam Musubi it was good , not great but needed more spice to it other than I was satisfied. read more

My last boba of 2025 and the first boba of 2026 was at Lilikoi Boba! :) My boyfriend and I were in Monterey for a little getaway for NYE, and I wanted to get boba hence why we came to Lilikoi. It was pretty close to our hotel. I think it was about a 10 minute drive. We found parking easily as they have a decent lot shared with other stores. The store is clean and pretty, and I love their sign "Let's Take a Boba Vacation to Hawaii" with the greenery wall. So cute! Our first visit, I got the Ube Horchata while he got the POG Aloha. I loved my Ube Horchata! It was perfectly sweet. I could taste the Horchata shining through with a hint of Ube. I got mine with boba balls, and they were at the right sweetness and texture. His POG Aloha was refreshing. Our 2nd visit, I ordered the Tropical Horchata while he got the Tropical Crema, and again both drinks were delish! We also got their Spam Musubi, and they were yummy! Perfect snack size, and very tasty. Service is friendly. It's not quick, but that's okay. I would definitely come again whenever I'm in the area. :) read more

I truly wanted to give 5 stars and am sad I can't. I'll give them another try since my daughter loves it here, even though they forgot the lychee jelly she added and paid extra for. For me, the Thai iced tea really has no condensed milk/sweetener....like zero. Tea flavor is amazing but it needs the other half of what a Thai tea is. Also, it was busy today so we sat outside. We should have received a text when order was ready. We turned around to see our drinks sitting on the counter. When we were half way home, the text alert was received that the order was ready. The owners are friendly, the shop is clean, bright, and modern, there is plenty of parking, and they make delicious boba tea with tons of variety. My son was curious about a flavor and was able to sample it. Fantastic customer service! We ordered the Ube horchata and the ube taro milk tea with rainbow jelly. Both are delicious. We had ever had horchata at a boba place before, but it's a fun and tasty option. They are in their soft opening until early December, so you can buy one get one half off right now. They also have loyalty cards. You can also use the touch order screen to order and pay, which is nice and convenient. Super excited to have this shop in Seaside, and we will be back soon! read more

We love traveling outside of the busy city to try different food places. We were in town and decided to try Lilikoi Boba. I had no idea there used to be two locations in San Jose until just now as I was searching for Lilikoi Boba to upload these pictures and write this review. I believe this may be the only location left but correct me if I'm wrong. We ordered 4 drinks and one spam musubi. Everything was so good. I was surprised the spam musubi was still hot so that's a plus. I love the self serve kiosk that way you can scroll and decide instead of holding up the line and asking questions when you can visually see everything for yourself, it causes less discrepancies and miscommunication this way. Everything in here is so pretty. The staff were friendly. I wish there were more seats inside. This place is definitely popular. Lots of people in and out when we were here. We will definitely be back when we are in the neighborhood! Cute fun drinks and can't wait to try more!!! read more

Just ok, not great but not terrible. The prices are a bit too high for the quality you get. It would make sense if the drinks tasted really good like the ones up north. Every time we come here they never have musubi ready and we've visited during close to opening, closing and mid business hours. My daughter liked the waffle. We enjoy the music they play and interior vibes. There's a kiosk option to self-order. Customer service is good, staff is friendly! If you're on the fence, give this place a try! Hands down best boba shop in the Monterey area! My partner and I have already been here several times since they opened and have loved every drink we've tried. The boba is perfectly sweet and chewy. They also have unique popping boba with oat or water chestnut on the inside, both of which have an nice texture (trust me, they're worth a try). The tea is good quality (I've tried the matcha and jasmine so far). Their horchata drinks are rich and filling and so tasty! The fruit teas are very refreshing. I'm excited to try other drinks and snacks as well. The shop is located on Fremont street in Seaside. It's a busy area, but there is usually sufficient parking in the lot out front. The inside has good vibes, with several tables and island jams playing. The family that runs Lilikoi is very nice and welcoming to customers. They are helpful when you can't decide what to order. Amazing! My family hunts down Boba shops because we love boba... it's hard to find a good one. This one is amazing!!! A little bit on the pricey side but the boba balls are cooked to perfection. A lot of places over cook or under cook the boba but this place got it right! The flavor of the matcha horchata was great too! I have issues with regular dairy milk so I don't get those but since this one was matcha horchata...I didn't have to worry about any dairy upsetting my stomach. It was simply amazing. Plus the "local" atmosphere is so welcoming. I am from Hawaii and anywhere that reminds me of home plus the "ohana" feeling I got from the amazing service I received was a winning combination for me! This is a boba place but the drinks don't come with boba. They charge $1 per topping, and then they don't even add the topping to your drink. We got 4 drinks and 3 were bad. The state was not it. We were excited to find out that a new boba shop opened in Monterey county! This area is severely lacking in boba shops, unlike San Jose area where there's boba shops everywhere. As our daughter goes to school at nearby CSUMB, it's great to see another boba option in town.
