This location makes nasty weak matchas, gave me old bread when I would order it and the manager who was a tall white woman would get mad because I said she didn't make the matcha correctly. Since then, which was about 5 months ago I started going to On The Go and I'm so much happier. She was bitter and old and didn't like correction. Go to a different Starbucks or better yet On The Grind for better taste and customer service. read more

Horrible customer service. While we did come very close to closing time, we asked if we could still order to ensure it wasn't a hassle. They said yes but turned around and started talking badly about us right in front of us while making our drinks. When I say they, it was just one white girl - the rest of the staff didn't say anything. She was overly nice to another customer who left 30 seconds before us but made it a point to be curt and ugly to us. Sorry you're working an hourly wage job at a business that has set hours you have to work? Wished her a good night because it must be hard to be so miserable. Just grumbled some more. I can't give no stars but if I could I would. This is by far the worst location in the Schertz/Cibolo area. It seems like the last couple times we've stopped by this location, it's on the way to church, they mess up on food or drinks. Heaven forbid a customer points out their mistake because they give attitude for having to remake a drink. If I get charged for extra this or that, for example extra caramel drizzle on the inside of the cup, I would expect to see the drizzle. I'll start going out of my way to get great customer service at one of the two other locations in the area. The atmosphere even going through the drive-thru is that the employees don't want to be bothered by anyone unless it's their co-workers or playing on their phones. read more

I am gagged, this Starbucks took 25 minutes to get me my sandwich - which they never actually bagged! It sat, cooked, by their oven for over 20 minutes. After asking Isaac about my sandwich at the 15 minute mark, I got a "I'll call it out when it's ready," so I waited patiently for another 10 minutes. Do not recommend this location I rather drive 9 more minutes to the Selma location. Ordered my drink with specific syrups/ espresso shots & sugars first drink they gave me the wrong size with half the ingredients missing. Second drink correct size still missing half the ingredients. What a beautiful Starbucks! This Starbucks is conveniently located right off Highway 35, and is easy to access. The drive-thru lane provides an immediate cure for those early morning caffeine jitters. I enjoyed how clean the place is, they've done a great job keeping the inside and outside of the store in immaculate condition! The inside is hip and clean, and there are new furnishings. This is the closest Starbucks to all the warehouse stuff going on in Schertz. The next closest place is over in the Forum, and you've gotta walk-in to that one. The staff was professional and courteous, and they made the Pike Street coffee just how I'm used to it. I'll certainly be back! read more

It never fails, this location is always running behind when I place a mobile order which defeats the purpose of planning ahead. When I go in to ask for my preorder drink the barista says she doesn't have it. I pull up my phone and show the receipt showing it was the right location she says oh I thought you said "some other name I never said" there are other locations in the area and I'll be going there instead. It was my friends birthday and when we ordered at the menu screen they didn't mention the app. So my friend ordered a hot cocoa & I ordered a mango refresher with no dragon fruit . When we got to the window the person gave us the total & we were like is that with the free birthday drink & she said we needed the app. But we didn't have the app but my friend showed her the id. Also her coco was halfway filled full, were out of peppermint & the hot Coco was cold . And they also gave me a mango dragon fruit refresher . I told them that I only wanted a mango refresher and the lady just stared at me & didn't offer to fix it . Won't be going to this location . I don't know if you knew it or not, but Starbucks sells lunch sandwiches, paninis and such in addition to their breakfast sandwiches. They are absolutely horrendous. I got a gift card worth $15, and I'm not a $6 a cup coffee drinker. The sandwich I chose was their new Thanksgiving panini with turkey and dressing and "cranberry" spread for $7. The turkey was spongy and microwaved. The dressing was heavy as a gummy brick. The cranberry was artificial, and the "toasted" bread was also underdone. Most of their small sandwiches are in pre wrapped plastic at the front ordering counter. Had I wanted a pre wrapped sandwich, I would have gone to 7-11 and gotten one of those delicious Texas steak sandwiches cook in a real oven with delicious bread for about $3. Well when I ordered it the guy rudely cut me off mid- order and said also in a rude voice that, that was a seasonal drink and they can not make it.... So I ordered a mocha with toffee nut. Ugh. Does this mean that because I added toffee but to my mocha that I was charged more just because I couldn't order the drink by name because it isn't in season?! Whatever!! For a busy location, this Starbucks actually moves fairly quick to get the order processed correctly and with quality. I tried both the inside as well as the drive-thru, and found the service to be "reasonable." I stress the word reasonable for the drive-thru due to where this Starbucks is located. This location is so popular that the traffic backs out into the road (no exaggeration) on the busy days. Yet on the days with 3-4 cars in front of you, the line moves at a decent pace. Nonetheless, the baristas were having a good day during my both of my visits. Cheerful and moving with a purpose, they were able to get the job done right. Went to Starbucks because I heard that you get a free drink for your birthday, not knowing that I had to have the app or card. Asked the older man working how it worked and he said you get a free drink of any size. Pulled up to the window and he asked to see me card or app. Told him I didn't have either and he rudely says "you don't get a free drink just because it's your birthday" and I said back okay, I didn't know we needed the app or card. I was absolutely SHOCKED at how rude the lady in the drive thru intercom talked to me. She talked down to me in a curt condescending manner as if I was stupid. She has absolutely no business in customer service. She is the large overweight angry looking older woman with bright auburn red hair. When I pulled up to get my drink to see what kind of person would talk so meanly to me, when I saw her face, I thought, "Aw, this makes perfect sense." Imagine the face of someone who hates her life, and this pretty much sums up the look of this woman. Faces don't lie. And yes, the large grumpy dude is also not very skilled at customer service either. Other than these 2 horrendous employees, the other employees are actually quite nice. It's a shame that these 2 people that hate life and their job work here, and spread their hate and misery onto others. The cashier at the front desk was super friendly! Without us asking, she was like, let me upgrade your cup sizes so that you can put cream/sugar without having to pour out coffee! That's called going above and beyond. Besides that, it was a nice, cozy, and warm area! The coffee was delicious! I like it when they make it just right as far as the temperature is concerned; it wasn't too cool nor too hot, but just warm and just right. It sucks when places make your coffee too hot and you end up burning your mouth, so I really appreciate when places actually get it right. The store actually had a drive thru which didn't seem too busy as far as I could see. The store also had decent amounts of seats inside and a nice area to sit outside. I really wanted to sit outside because of how fresh it was, however, I decided to stay inside because it was warm! I really like this location and think that it is awesome! It's a little far from where I live but I decided to go there just to try it out and I must say that I am impressed. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll drop by! read more
