I use to go to OTG lot. Every location, including Marion. I have filled multiple stamp cards and even given them as stocking stuffers. I heard they were going to an app, so I went to buy 3 drinks to fill a punch card so I wouldn't waste it and the girl said "Come back on April 14th. We are doing fill-your-stamp-card day." I did go back on the 14th and filled my stamp card. My husband went yesterday, May 10th, to get my free drink and buy one for himself, but the person taking his order rolled her eyes at my husband and said he couldn't use it after May 1st. There is no expiration date on it and no one told me both times that I went to get it stamped of any expiration date. Guess it's Starbucks from now on. They honor their points, their chai latte costs less, and it's cheaper too. ​That's a lot of business you just lost OTG. Super disappointing. read more

Yesterday picked up a Cinnabon hit around 3-4 pm at the 306 location service was excellent, friendly staff but the drink upset my stomach really bad. Please check ingredients, milk products and such, something in the drink was no good for consumption. read more

Updating my review, I have loved on the grind for 4-5 years it's been really great but the quality has been going downhill. My main issue is the exorbitant prices and how my drinks are mostly ice. I ordered two large risers today and got two cups of ice with some drink poured around them for $18 absolutely ridiculous. I signed off Starbucks before and now I'm signing off on the grind great drinks but not worth the price for such little amounts. read more

Alright, honest review time. Don't come here if you're a pansy coffee drinker. This place is for people on the grind. I'd leave your laptop at home. There's always a cheerful, happy to greet you host standing outside that's already about 3 shots of espresso deep, ready to take your order rain or shine. Grab yourself a six shooter, big Tex, or a Mexican mocha and you'll be able to take on a Texas sized day in no time. If you drive a super duty, 2500, or a duramax you won't feel embarrassed rolling through this coffee drive thru. As a Starbucks connesuer back in the day, they went to shit. Black rifle went to shit. If you want to pay $8 for a 3/4 full iced coffee then this is your spot. The fact that they short you 1/4 of a cup of coffee because you request light ice is absolutely ridiculous. Then they tell you it's an additional .50 cents if you want it topped off. instead of shorting coffee and then wanting to charge an additional amount to give me what i'm paying for as it's advertised, y'all should consider the fact that filling a cup with so much ice that there is very little coffee even being added is why people request light ice. Another fun fact is that the girl who poured my "Big Tex" had the audacity to say even though the cup is only 3/4 full it still the same amount of coffee!!! She even tried to prove it by pouring it into a medium cup (which made no sense) and resulted in the MEDIUM CUP only being 3/4 full as well! Color me surprised. This location is very convenient, however the quality of service and product is terrible. I've went consistently since December and although my order has been good once or twice it is consistently inconsistent. The quality of coffee is poor and often times the order is made incorrectly entirely or it's just simply gross. My second observation here is how grimy and dirty the staff look. Their T-Shirts are soiled from making coffee, their hands covered with stains, and their hair is often not pulled back either. There is one staff in particular who's nails are noticeably long and always have what appears to be dirt under them, it's unappetizing to be given your drink when someone's appearance reflects poor hygiene. I recommend a complete training for both customer service, product consistency and overall professional appearance for the staff here. It's not hard to provide aprons, encourage hand washing, being within grooming standards/hair pulled back all while providing a quality and consistent product. I'm not sure I'll be back, I've made these suggestions to the "Manager" who themselves is a reflection of the above issues, followed closely by the "Assistant Manager" who has poor hygiene and professionalism. Fast and friendly service. And most importantly the coffee was delicious I had the S'mores hot coffee.

First off, I come here all the time and will continue to do so! Even when there are cars lined up down the street and they are at their busiest, they always greet with a smile and the drinks are awesome! I recently drove through on one of their busiest days/times and ordered 5 completely different drinks. They accidentally mixed up a couple of them. But, when I drove through the next time and mentioned it, they gave me my drink on the house and stamped my card to get another free drink the next time I come in. I do not order food at OTG. Other than a few cookies, it does not make food. As for service, there is mixed results at OTG. A few of the employees offer good service, dome are just terrible awful. You will be constantly dunned for tips when you drive through. They will hand you a tablet and and tell you, "Here, its gonna ask you a few questions." The only thing its asks is how much tip? Transactions are done by wireless tablets, unsecured! IMHO, you should pay by cash only! Most of the employees are friendly and a few are just hot-heads. read more

No longer a fan. I get a black Americano and have to get extra shots so it doesn't look like dirty water. Their quality has gone downhill big time. This morning I waited in line, had someone come out to take my order and when I got to the window had to wait even longer since they didn't have my order. I get my iced dirty Chai and my first sip is a mouthful of grounds. This has happened numerous times. It's disgusting and I don't like to chew my coffee. I noticed that Texas has a lot of drive thru coffee joints- which I love because you don't have to get out of your car, they usually have a limited amount of flavors so it's so easy to choose a drink. On the Grind has several locations so it's nice to know I can drive up to OTG if I need a coffee fix. They also do stamp cards so you can earn stamps and get a free drink. The staff is also so nice and friendly. read more

On FM 306 headed to the river, luckily pulled in. Interesting and unique menu, had to go with the Big Tex. No BS, one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. If there was a Starbucks across the street I would lose my frequent flyer card there because I would never go back. I would stop here every time, instead of Starbucks. My in-laws have lived in this town for over six years, and my husband and I just bought a house in Gruene so OTG has been our go-to for a while. But I've got to say, I've probably been to this location 50+ times and I've gotten a good drink maybe 10 of those times. I keep coming back because the kids who work there are sweet, and the line moves fast, but I am so over drinking iced milk or water. i've been every single morning for the past 10 days and I got a good drink one of those days. We always came here because it was close to home and super convenient but I will definitely be going somewhere else from now on. OTG is conveniently located right next to Oma's Haus and perfect for a before or after beverage when dropping off/picking up your Canyon High School monsters. Their coffee is nice and strong and smoothies are perfect for this summer madness. Cappuccinos are my jam but OTG doesn't offer them (hint hint). The people behind this establishment are completely dedicated to great service and just last week they offered $1 medium drinks all day for their one year anniversary, now that's GOLD! I like the concept: a double drive through with espresso, teas, chai teas, and smoothies. I like the story of the local, young entrepreneur right out of college. I love the products, and they have convenient locations popping up all over town. I pulled up to one of those little blue buildings with the double drive through and was quickly greeted by a beautiful barista, who was working both windows with the dexterity of an athlete. Okay, where was I? I ordered what has been described elsewhere as a "dirty tiger," a Chai latte, or a Chai tea with one shot of espresso in it. That tea was smooth, strong, creamy; and most importantly, hot. I hate when places serve me lukewarm drinks. That barista served me with a smile, but I would have tipped her $1 for her fast, friendly service. Brew: - Chai tea with one shot of espresso $3.50 (delicious).
