Today I had an interesting experience at this Starbucks. I was in town for the Spurs game and got to town early to avoid the rush hour traffic. I came to this Starbucks as it was close to my friends house. I ordered my drink and sat in the store and started working while I waited for my friend to get off work. My friend notified me that the were getting off so I packed up my items and went to my vehicle to swap bags and went it the restroom to get changed. When I excited the bathroom I asked for a water to go and was asked "Did you already buy a drink?" I said yes I did, I've been here for a few hours. She said okay, I added that I just wanted a small water. While she was getting my water she was talking to the other employees lowly then came to the drink drop off with the water still in her hand. She said "they said that you just walked in." To which I responded with "no, that's not correct, I've been here for a few hours." She said "I've been in the store and I haven't seen you. Do you have the app to show me?" At this point, I was the only one in the line and I was getting kind of frustrated. I remained calm and stated, "I order my drink with an African America girl, I sat by the window, then I moved outside to the far right seat. That's when the lady that put my order in got off sat right there outside opposite to me." The employee was still looking at me like I was telling a lie. I showed her my app where it showed that very location I was at with my drink purchase. She said she was sorry and didn't see me. I'm not sure what company policy they have, so I can't speak to that, but the level I had to go through to get a tall water I believe is ridiculous. I could understand if I just said, "Hey, believe me. I was just here and my order was wrong so I need another one." I would of course show the receipt as proof in this scenario, but for a water? I gave a detailed account of what happened and to top it off, one of the workers still there was the one who made my drink and gave it to me. Not a good experience, I think this needs to be evaluated better to ensure future customers aren't treated so coldly. read more

've been coming here regularly for the last FIVE years. Friendly first name basis with most of the staff. Everyone is great. They know my order, always give me a water even when I'm just working, often times without me even having to ask. Seems there's a new manager / hire trying to show he's boss. Super rude, just overall bad vibes. While working recently, I politely asked for an ice water. "Sorry sir, it's the rules, you have to buy something." "I understand... But I come here all the time, and have never had an issue. Water is free. Can you please make an exception?" "It's the rules sir." "Okay, that's ridiculous. But okay." Go back to work, frustrated but whatever. Another colleague comes over, clearly at the orders of the new manager. "Sir, we know you come here all the time, but if you don't order anything we have to kick you out." I've spent thousands of dollars at this specific location and will never spend another dime. Classic example of following the "rules" to your own detriment. never coming back, and will tell everyone I know to do the same. Shout out to all the nice coworkers who treated me well before hand. A nice Starbucks. I ordered a grande cappuccino with heave cream and they offered me the option of a standard to go cup or a ceramic mug for in store use. I liked that. The cappuccino in the mug was VERY good. I normally add sweetener to my cappuccino at Starbucks but this one was great as is. I finished it in a few minutes and then asked for a refill but was told they could only give me a brewed or iced coffee for an in store refill? I have gotten a second cappuccino at my local Starbucks and never had a problem as long as you were still in store. Not sure if this is a new policy or my local store is correct?? Anyway the Pikes with cream refill was not very good. Not sure why but it tasted off and I did not finish it. Upgraded review to 4 stars: it does state on the Starbucks website that the refill is only brewed coffee or tea, no specialty drinks. So the staff here is correct. I guess I am just getting lucky at my local Starbucks. read more

This location specifically is the friendliest, most efficient. never any mistakes and super clean I've ever been to. I normally stick to my samedrink every single morning. I decided to switch it up and take a recommendation from the barista and she was so knowledgeable and had such a huge smile on her face it made my day. I had to do this. I'm not sure if its just certain managers on duty. But today I ordered breakfast sandwiches. First they are less than a mile away. My friend lives across the way and said they had no line so I ordered. 45 minutes later they tell the delivery person they are out of a pre-made item and they wouldn't refund it. Told my delivery person to tell me to contact uber eats. Not service at all, the delivery person responsibility and the store is horrible service providers because this was not handled properly or fairly for anyone. It doesn't take 30 minutes to turn around and confirm the order, but today this group took that long. This is my Starbucks!! I come almost daily however I had a horrible customer service experience with a manager named Raquel. Starbucks doesn't give receipts unless you request them. I've never had an issue . I she sure ordered 3 drinks last week however I requested Oat milk but all where made with cow milk. Called and was told they wrote the name down. I was told I could come back so anytime. I came the next week and Raquel refused to remake the drinks . She argued Starbucks policy to only remake one drink. She stated she was going to write my name down so I never can get a remake without a receipt. She behaved as if she was giving me a favor. Oh course when I left my app worked and showed the past orders. She was rude and condescending. I recorded the encounter with my watch. I have never had bad service but she was horrible read more

I give them 3 stars because they just don't make their pink drinks as good as the Walzem location . I've given the fm 78 location many opportunities to make it right but they just can't get it right . This review is solely based on our experience today. We go through the drive-thru with a semi-difficult order and the guy over the speaker says "Alright, come on through brother" to my husband as he was the one driving and giving the order. We get up to the window, get my drink first which was customized because I mean who doesn't! The guy over the speaker, which we find out his name is Robert, tells me to taste my drink before we drive off...Yep! Nailed it!!!!! It was awesome and it was the best they have made yet as they seem to get it wrong the other times. My husband's drink, which always has some sugar free alternatives in it, was great also. I just wanted to say, I don't know who hired these new folks or folks to help out the old ones but THANK YOU!!!! The baristas and Robert are awesome today!!! read more

The lady who made my matcha tea latte added wayyyy too much matcha powder that I literally overdosed on caffeine. I don't think she was trained in how powerful that stuff is but if your drink is a dark dark green throw it away because you will feel SO so bad afterwards. I had a high dose of caffeine and am experiencing headaches, feeling nauseous, insomnia, and irritability. I will never order matcha tea latte from here or at any Starbucks because this one completely traumatized me lol This feeling is so so horrible and I wish I knew the strength matcha powder had lol I'm giving it 2 because she was kind and gave it to me free. It's always so sad to pass by this location and think "Yum I want a coffee" but just drive on with the understanding that an overpriced Frappuccino is not worth a 45min wait time. Y'all suck! I'd happily pay the price for a good drink and quick service but it is so insane how long the wait is here. Avoid this location at all costs. BTW: That good review about this location being efficient and friendly had my laughing out loud! I live in the area and have been at this location a bunch of times before finally throwing in the towel. This is probably the best Starbucks I have ever visited. It wasn't too loud or crowded and the baristas were considerate and amazing at their job, but the cashier was the nicest. They were patient and understanding. Their hospitality makes me want to go there more often (service was definitely worth the cost)! The environment is very friendly and all of the employees have smiles on their faces, even after three kids and two hours later. I highly reccomend this location. Try the Strawberry-Acai Refresher, it tastes fresh and not too sweet. read more

I sat in line for 20 mins for a tall blonde and when I got to the window I tried the coffee and was like ma'am the coffee is no longer warm, she says oh well the person in front of you had 12 items.. She proceeds to remake my coffee only filling it half way and not adding any almond milk as my order stated... since the line was long and I used my stars I accepted it and drove off. For there to be a suffering economy, this Starbucks sure doesn't care about turning away customers. I waited in line for 20+ minutes and as soon as I get to order the clock strikes 8 and I'm not allowed to order. I get it, you close at 8, but geez you couldn't come out and warn people at 745 or 750. Horrible customer service. You set people up for failure and expect customers to come back a different day. Something could have been done to warn customers that 8 pm closing time is sharp. Again for companies to be asking for help from the government because profits are low and in the same breath making customers angry makes no sense! Will not be returning. read more

My husband and I have been coming to this Starbucks location via drive-thru 1-2x a week since we moved to Texas a few months ago, and I have to say, the customer service is consistently AWESOME! The people we have talked to through the speaker and at the window have regularly been so friendly and pleasant to chat with and I really appreciate that. And there's been a few times now where they've really gone above and beyond. A few weeks ago we were offered a free drink that another customer had declined for a remake and today our drinks were on the house when they overheard what an awful day we were having. It was just so genuinely kind, I nearly started crying happy tears (sappy, I know, but true). This location has a great staff who are very friendly and usually very fast when taking your order (I usually go during morning Rush hour) the only complaint I have is the older female associate who moves like molasses and will forget a simple plain coffee order. If I pull up and see her behind the register I just turn around and go to another location. She will ask you to wait for your coffee then forget that you were waiting, then forget that you also ordered a pastry or sandwich. Be very clear and deliberate when ordering with her. read more

Drive thru order on a hot afternoon, slightly long line behind me. Might have been a bit of a long day and my afternoon Starbucks order wasn't going as planned. I ordered iced coffees and was served hot, ordered grande passion fruit tea and received tall. But it's the way the baristas handled the situation. I politely informed the barista, She immediately apologized and informed the other barista. No one was rude, they simply went with it and prepared the drinks still with smiles on.
