Went here because we wanted coffee and to try it out. They have a drive thru or walk up. It was raining so we did the drive thru. We ordered and was told we would get the amount when we got to the window. We pulled up and the young lady just looked at us. We had to ask how much it was and told her nobody told us the amount. Ew. Just ewww. It's only a drive through. Placed our order. No one gave the amount of the order. Drive forward to the window a the girl is just staring at me. I'm like don't take cash? She says yes. And they I said, how much do I owe you? She didn't even seem to know either. I said, I wasn't told the amount when I placed my order. She said the amount. I think it was like $10.00 for 2 small drinks. Get back home, and the drink is disgusting. I mean, just ew. A mocha latte should have some kind of chocolate flavor. Just tasted burnt. read more

I needed an afternoon pick me up while driving and my husband saw this coffee shop. We decided to give it a try since neither of us had ever been or heard of it. They have coffee and other drink options as well. I ordered a toffee crunch iced coffee and my husband ordered the smashmelon energy drink. Both came with a cute, yummy, little chocolate covered espresso bean! Scarlett took care of us and even gave us some stickers since it was our first time! Such awesome customer service! Loved it! When I tell you the devil tried today but Jesse showed up hittin with the affirmations. When I tell you I was having a rough day pulled up trying to get a coffee to keep me afloat didn't have any breakfast my husband irkin my last nerve. I never been to The Human bean so I didn't know what to get he offered to help he recommended a drink,his vibe and whole personality was exactly what I needed because it lit up my day I felt less stress and he was too kind. I usually would recommend this place . However due to recent experiences it is touch and go . Coffee is inconsistent . And rather than going where I usually go to write a review I went to the business and expressed my concerns gave a second chance . To my surprise when I went today with my daughter the person who I expressed concerns about Brandon was there as my daughter said gave us the " stink eye" the other girl Scarlett said I will be right there since I always walk up to the window since I have issues with the drive thru since I have a Brian injury and often times they overwhelm me with trying to help . Scarlet did come over took my order helped with the app . We were waiting for the drinks but instead of making our drinks she was assisting Brandon with drive thru I watched so many people 4 cars get drinks and leave as mine and my daughters coffee sat . Then someone walked to the window Brandon and Scarlett walked up talked to him still no coffee then back to drive through then when I see reg mill going in my coffee instead of oat milk I know that when it takes this long to make coffee the coffee tasted bad on top of I can't drink reg milk so I ask for them to refund my money but I have used a free drink reward . Scarlett goes to Brandon whispers to him they laugh and then she says it will be refunded I get no receipt I ask for a receipt for proof Brandon walks to the back and Scarlett starts helping the drive thru and they are ignoring me . Loved all the lavender seasonal options.I got a cold brew with lavender cold foam.I especially liked the chocolate covered espresso bean they added to the top.Coming from the light it's easy to miss the entrance but well worth the stop. A lot of their sandwiches looked good and I'd be willing to try them in the future. read more

I used to get a cold brew from Starbucks, but nothing compares to my go to here at The Human Bean. The drive through is quick & the staff make every visit special with their smiles & personal touches. They've even remembered details about my life, like my son's football games, which makes me feel truly valued. Always a treat to stop for my iced Mexi latte with the yummy chocolate covered coffee bean. The browned butter Krispy treats are good too. Staff is friendly and not overwhelming. Pat Booker has attracted another coffee shop midway tucked in between Walgreens and Tint world! The offerings are alike many of thoer competitors, but the additional bean on too of the cup and their ustomer service sets them apart. Such a great place and a perfect replacement if you're looking for an alternative to Starbucks! Service is fast, friendly, and personable. Delicious coffee, and a perfect little kids menu adorably named "Little Beans". I have only tried the bacon Gouda breakfast sandwich so far but it's absolutely amazing. My wife and I were looking for a replacement for our Starbucks habit and we were fortunate enough to find this upgrade. This is definitely our new go-to spot for coffee here in UC! read more
