Staff was not the greatest but i guess i have seen worse. I ordered my usual which is a solo espresso shot in a venti cup with milk and other add ons. But for some reason at this location they gave me the cup 3/4s full. And when I asked about it she said she would have to upcharge me to fill it up with milk. Babe I am not paying you shy of $1 for milk. Again, never experienced this before at any other location (3+ others have gave me a venti drink). I've never been "pulled up" to a parking space in the drive thu ever at Starbucks. I ordered an espresso frap and a ham and Swiss sandwich. I get the the window and pay, they tell me we dropped the ham out of your sandwich and have to make another one. Pull around to the back of the store and park. It's an alley way near the dumpsters .... Scuffed my rims trying to park where they asked. They came out a few minutes later with the sandwich, she wasn't going to say anything but I mumbled thank you - I'm not a jerk and grateful for the food they prepared. It's not a good practice for them to start getting into, I hate having to do that at a fast food place and wouldn't like it to happen here. At best, it can fit 3 cars, which is not efficient considering how many people go to the forum, and the location of the storefront. People Wii's literally hold up traffic at the intersection to wait in line at the drive thru. - attention to detail: most orders from this location are messed up. IF you order simple items that aren't customized, then you should be fine. I ordered a white chocolate mocha with an extra shot of espresso and received hot milk with vanilla. - options: there's another Starbucks option inside of target. Who doesn't love Target? Knock two birds out with one by shopping at Target and getting a coffee at the Starbucks inside. You don't have to deal with the horrid traffic or messed up orders. Came in, got my drink with my friend. As I sat outside in front of the store I accidentally spilled my drink. When I went in to ask for a replacement, they just completely disregarded me. I'm not a big Starbucks fan anyway, so there's that. This location has the worst drive thru set up, also noones fault. Today I ordered a dragon drink and was given a white drink with no fruit. I truly would've ordered a different drink, if they told me there were no fruit inclusions. Part of the appeal of refreshers are getting a sip of rehydrated fruit. It's weird the person taking my order didn't tell me or ask. In general my advice is to just use a different Starbucks, or better yet On The Grind. read more

I love this staff. I have had too many great experiences there to list them all, so I'll just stick with the most recent one. My family and I stopped at a Starbucks up by the church after service tonight. They have a new product called "Skinny." You can order a skinny latte, skinny mocha, etc. It has no sugar and no fat. Sounds too good to be true, but stupid me tried it anyway. I ordered a vanilla skinny latte with an extra shot of sugar free vanilla. Well, it was hot, so I didn't taste it til we were about a mile up the road. Ever had plain milk with a lil salt in it? Yeah, ummm, I hadn't either... till tonight. That was DISGUSTING. It tasted like hot milk with a touch of something WRONG in it. If there was sugar free vanilla in there, I must've missed it. I convinced my husband to blow through our Starbucks, and prayed that they would have mercy on me and credit me for that drink, or replace it... but was absolutely prepared to buy another if need be. They always make my soy white mochas perfectly... too perfectly, in fact. I'm there at least once a week. When we got to OUR Starbucks, it was packed inside, so we went to the drive through. They, of course, ask, "Welcome to Starbucks, would you like to try a Skinny Latte?" I said, "Ummm... I'm sorry, but we have a problem... I just came here from another Starbucks and the drink they gave me... ummm... it's icky." I was certain they'd apologize but tell me that there was nothing they could do about it, but I had to try. To my surprise, TWO girls came back through the lil window saying, "OMIGOSH, what did you order?!" I told them I'd ordered a Skinny Vanilla Latte and they began laughing. I was a bit alarmed, but in unison, they began apologizing and telling me that EVERYONE hated them and that they really were disgusting. Then one of the disembodied voices said, "Let us make you something with a little fat in it!! Pull around!" We did and they gave me a free soy white raspberry mocha. I was sooooo grateful and they were so apologetic that we all began giggling. I should've known! I'm telling you, the folks here make every visit a convenient pleasure. I get the same drink every day (sometimes twice a day) and have been to my share of Starbucks around the area-- and country. This is by FAR the slowest one out there. If there are 4 cars ahead of you in line, expect a 10-15+ minute wait. I'm not exaggerating. If you are heading on 35N, I suggest going to the one on Schertz Parkway instead. About a year ago I started working on this side of town and have been making regular trips to this Starbucks location. And over the year I've seen the staff improve so much. Yes, there are times when they have a crazy line in the drive thru but I avoid that by using the mobile app so that my order is ready when I get there and don't have to hassle with the lines. But even then the employees have shown nothing but kindness and professionalism. It really makes a difference when you have great employees that greet you when you walk in and thank you before you leave. Not to mention they have always made my order just the way I like it. Come on starbucks. Why did you have to put your drive thru in front of a driveway. You block and create so much traffic all the time. No matter what time you go the line is long and causes traffic. Service is ok. Facilities is small and cramped. I wish Starbuck would reroute the traffic for their drive thru. So that there is a flow and no blocking other business. Sitting in their drive thru lane is like watching grass grow. Or paint dry. They are SLOWER than CHRISTMAS. (And this is not the first time I have observed this in the last two years.) I have had it with this location. I am all about friendly staff; but my goodness. Being friendly is not going to get me my order and allow me to get to work on time. I always want to swing by this location because it's close to where I live. I stop by this morning and there were about 6-7 cars in front of me. I sat for 5 minutes with absolutely no movement. And this is VERY typical of this location. I knew in my gut to just go to the location by my office; but I came here instead. Like an idiot. I knew better. I did. I am a Gold Card Member and spend my fair share of money on Starbucks. I have been to a lot of locations and none of them are like this. I left the drive thru lane and drove 14 miles to the Naco location in Alamo Heights. (Around my office.) That location is always PACKED; but I never have to wait long. I promise you I got my drink faster leaving this location and going 14 MILES AWAY. I am just mad I wasted the time I had this morning sitting in a drive thru line. I've experienced better customer service and quality in the past. The last time I came here, the bathroom was horrid. There was toilet paper thrown all over the floor. The place was swamped with people and the staff were overwhelmed and not really putting much effort to get people's orders. Instead, they were focusing more on the drive thru. That left a lot of customers on the inside just standing around. Also, they weren't putting names for the orders so there were a slew of orders just siting on the table with nobody calling out who's was who's. Inevitably, we were given some other person's order and had to get it corrected. To top it all off, just when my family and I was about to leave, a staff member walked out of the door very fasted and screamed, "WHEW, I'M DONE!"
