I was on the hunt for a cozy spot to read a few chapters when I stumbled across Medina River Coffee. Tucked away in a small shopping center, it's easy to overlook--but don't make that mistake. The vibe is dark and moody in the best way: cozy, calm, and perfect for settling in with a book or getting some work done. My favorite feature was the counter seating along the front window. I claimed a little corner seat where I could soak up some natural light, sip my coffee, and happily disappear into my book. Even with several people inside, it never felt noisy or distracting. The baristas were incredibly friendly and took the time to walk me through their menu and offer recommendations. I ended up ordering the Coco- Ro-Dachio iced latte (coconut, chocolate, and pistachio) and asked for it to be less sweet. They absolutely nailed it--it was smooth, balanced, and let all the flavors shine without tasting like dessert in a cup. I also loved seeing the variety of coffee beans for their different coffees. If you're into trying different coffees, you'll have plenty of options to explore. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality and size of the drink. The only minor downside is that parking can be a little tight since it's in a smaller shopping center. On the plus side, they're open until 8 p.m., which makes it a great option whether you're looking for a morning pick-me-up or an evening coffee break. If you're searching for a coffee shop with excellent drinks, friendly baristas, and a peaceful atmosphere to read, work, or simply unwind, Medina River Coffee is absolutely worth checking out.

Coffee Near Me is conveniently parked by McAlister Park, so folks biking, walking, etc can easily swing by to quench their thirst. I ordered a jalapeño kolache (the bread was incredibly soft and pillowy) and a hot German Chocolate Cake latte. The latte was scalding hot but once it was at drinking temperature - the flavor was 100% spot on. It felt like I was drinking an actual German Chocolate Cake. He also made a pup cup for Bucky, and also pointed out the free dog treats! So I garnished Bucky's pup cup with a treat and he was absolutely delighted. We parked ourselves at one of the picnic tables and people watched for a little bit. Bucky also found a dog dish, so even though I brought my own water for him, he was never without any. Super convenient. Before we headed out I ordered an iced Mayan Mocha Latte and it was delicious. The name of the truck, while creative, makes googling it a little frustrating. Bright, with all of its windows and natural light, is well, bright during the day. The staff is really excellent here, just like at NoFi, being super friendly and welcoming. My girlfriend grabbed their Ube Latte while I opted for the Banana Milk Latte, which I had never heard of before and which was super fun to try. It's a super unique flavor for a latte but excellent. I've had many different fruits in my coffee, from blueberries to oranges, but I have never considered bananas to be in the range of opportunities. Bright has opened my third eye to this concept. All their house-made beans from Perdido are top-tier. They also had really cute espresso and pour-over Comfort Color shirts that I had to grab while I was visiting. I also really love the subtle smiley face they add to all their hot to-go cups. There's plenty of space between each seat inside Bright so it never feels crowded even when it's packed. There's also tons of locally-made art on the wall, which really makes Bright exist like a piece of the community.
