Friendly service! I ordered on to-go on the app and just came to pick up. The atmosphere is similar to any other Starbucks, with a few people working at one of their many tables on a Wednesday afternoon. This Starbucks location was not too crowded, and I was greeted with a hello when coming in. I ordered their Caramel Ribbon Crunch frappuccino, and nothing special about it but it's exactly as I expected. There was also a nice weekday message written on my drink. Just wanted to shoutout Chris for going above and beyond with customer service. I ordered a drink from the railroad location by the university and it was awful. I called around noon and asked if they could remake it at this location. Chris took my order and it was ready by the time I got there. He went above and beyond, more than what I was expecting, I was just happy I got a drink remade the right way. Just fyi I brought back a full drink bc the other location probably burnt my tea leaf or something bc it was bitter. read more

Came here for a coffee date with a friend. I had a $3 for any drink that I thought I would use. Jones, the Barista who helped me was the very first one that I encountered, who recommended me to get an upgrade my drink from me regular hot mocha for the same value. I had been to other Starbucks and never before I had encountered such a nice Barista. I also noticed her greeting her regular customers and she has such a nice, sunny disposition. 5 freakin' stars for Cameron!! This particular location is my go-to whenever I'm in the area and although that doesn't happen too often, I always leave satisfied. This last visit was extra special thanks to Cameron!! This particular barista is the absolute life of the party!! He is kind, courteous, and so very welcoming. So this review is for the location. Starbucks coffee is what it is and if you know you know it's consistently ok. So why is this location the best of the best? The baristas. Baristas make or break a coffee shop and the folks here are friendly and considerate. I'm terrible with names (I'm sorry y'all), but the folks here greet my 7 year old by name. From the first time he came in they treated him with kindness and talked to him rather than just me. This means that he associates Starbucks with a fun place to go to even though there is no play center. This means that _I_ can go to Starbucks and get my coffee without having to figure out how to convince him to stop. He's eager to stop in to talk to his "family". As an example of what I mean, today, they decorated his bag with his treasured lemon loaf with stars and his name. And when he dropped his hot cocoa all over himself and the floor they replaced it. What could have been "let's think about how we respond and manage our emotions" moment, turned in to a "grateful for how others show us kindness" moment. In terms of space, there are plenty of tables and wireless. It's a smaller store, so not really suited for large groups. The chairs aren't super comfy, but occasionally I'll come over and work for a bit to have some chill time. read more

I had high hopes coming in--customer service was good, and my drink was made perfectly. Unfortunately, I couldn't fully enjoy my visit. Throughout my time there, the supervisor was loudly reprimanding staff, creating a visibly tense and uncomfortable atmosphere. The team looked anxious and stressed, and it was hard not to feel bad for them. Starbucks promotes a warm, welcoming environment, not just for customers but also for the partners who work there. This location felt far from that ideal. A supervisor should lead by example--not through fear or hostility. I hope management takes a closer look at how this location is being run. More often I use the Starbucks at Railroad Avenue, though this cafe has excellent quality coffee and related, and in a good location if you need to stop during the day (San Tomas Expressway and El Camino Real). I have been a frequent Starbucks customer here for around three years now and overall, I have had a generally positive experience. One of the things I appreciate about Starbucks is the wide variety of drinks and food options they offer. Some of my favorites include the iced blonde vanilla latte, vanilla sweet cream cold brew, and iced white chocolate mocha. I also enjoy adding extra pumps of syrup and sauce to my drinks to customize them to my liking, which is easy to do on the mobile app. I always order ahead of time on the mobile app so I can quickly pick up my order on my way to work. I particularly enjoy the holiday items such as the snowman cookie and pumpkin scone. The staff at my local Starbucks is usually friendly and greets me when I enter and leave, which adds to the positive experience. One minor issue I have encountered at times is that when I add extra pumps of syrup and sauce through my mobile app order, I can taste that they are unfortunately not always added to my drink. Since I pay extra for those, it is disappointing when they are not added. Solid Starbucks. The workers are friendly and always smiling. The drinks are typical Starbucks. I love some, others not so much. A couple weeks back I ordered a blonde roast and it was so weak, it literally tasted like you waved a brown crayon in some hot water and called it coffee. Ewe. I returned it for a dark roast and that was better. I think the company must have changed breakfast vendors? The bacon gouda used to be my favorite of all time. Best focaccia bread, great cheese. I got one last time and the bread was thick and hard, what happened? The sausage and cheddar used to be nice and big, now it looks like it's been reduced by at least 30%. Solid location, not as busy as some other Starbucks location. Located in the same plaza as Noah's Bagels on Thomas. I ordered ahead via the app and my order was ready in less than the quoted time. A staff member was on top of calling out mobile orders, so that was very much appreciated. There are two types of coffee drinkers, people who like whip cream and Carmel drizzle covering their drink and those who just want to have a quality cup of coffee without the sugar and chemicals. I just want espresso and steamed milk, keep it simple. The problem is the lattes here tastes like someone scooped up water out of a gutter and microwaved it for an hour and put it in a red cup. I don't care about your red cups or pumpkin spiced lattes. I just want quality coffee, which you will never find here. read more

I need my coffee, every morning and throughout the day. This is the closest one to our clinic unfortunately. I say that because parking is terrible. It's always so busy! I found a way around that recently, just go after 11 am and before 4pm, limited available spaces but I've been able to get a spot each time between those hours at this location. It's kind of a mess. There was one young lady who was rude but I haven't seen here in awhile so maybe she was let go or decided to let herself go. Everyone else seemed really nice. If you're picking up coffee for groups of people, make sure you tell them if anybody is allergic to caffeine. A coworker of mine had some caffeine in her double chocolate frappe and it didn't go so well. I didn't even know they put caffeine in that! But I make sure it doesn't happen again. Other than that one mistake, no other ones. Drinks were quickly made and taste as it should. Not sure if i would recommend this place, because i don't want anymore people coming here taking up available spaces! Lol jk! read more

I generally enjoy getting my drinks from this location specifically because I always get a nice dose of seratonin just from the interactions with the staff members there. They make my day! There is both exterior and exterior seating so you can bring a lap top and get some work done while you enjoy your drink. there are two starbucks near my work (three if we count the one in target) but this is my favorite location. their drinks always taste spot on no matter who the barista is. very rarely do the drinks taste off but if you let them know, they will remake your drink with no attitude or eye roll unlike other starbucks locations i've been to. sometimes their black tea tastes very bland and watered down. again, let them know and they will gladly brew a fresh batch asking you to wait ten minutes. i tend to choose starbucks over peets because they have a bigger selection - food and beverages. peets step up your game and add more options. read more

I've worked in the retail and service industry for over two decades and the employees and managers I interacted with today nailed a great customer experience. They were out of an item I had ordered and not only refunded but also offered a free replacement. The food and refund is not even what was remarkable but it was the genuine care and concern about making sure they knew that they cared. In a world where we are having less and less human interaction these genuine moments should be recognized and appreciated. Usually I come here because the last Starbucks I went to off of Homestead, the manager said they will not be able to make the pumpkin cream foam anymore due to needing to save the supply of their sweet cream. So with this Starbucks they do make it BUT I found out today that the manager Robert has been having his employees and himself overcharging me. For the foam, it is usually a dollar. They have been charging me $2.65 for a grande cup of milk or cold brew. You imagine I am already ordering a venti iced chai latte and a grande pumpkin foam. This is very disappointing and upsetting. If the young gentleman today and the girl with a pony tail did not say anything, I would have never known. So I thank them for that. read more

Never really wanted to write a review for this place, but I feel the need to vent after recent experiences here. This is probably the worst SB's I've been to. Typically come on weekends and there's usually 3 people working in the morning and it seems like one is always on a lunch break. Wait times are 10-15 minutes. I get there's order's ahead of me, but maybe not being short staffed would help reduce the wait time? I've also experienced terrible customer service from one bald headed employee TWICE. I dread every-time I go, hoping she isn't working. I can only imagine how worse this place will be during covid restrictions popping up again. read more

Placed an online order today and stood at the door for 3 minutes before anyone addressed me, despite a room full of employees. As they carried on a conversation about operations (shifts, etc) someone finally goes to pick up the order from barista station and the girl making the drinks says "I don't know if it's done" in the most obnoxious tone. When the order is placed down for me to pick up, the lids was not secured and employee stared blankly instead of offering help to fix it. What more is there to say - yikes! read more
