Haven't been here in a while but the place is nice. The people are very friendly and they efficient. Only had two people working, but man they were better than an actual full staff. They were never flustered and had a smile on their face. Greeted me as soon as I walked in. They made my drink just how like it and there was great music selection being played inside. read more

This Starbucks location has quite good review. I came to this site sometimes many years ago. I liked it. It is spacious and surrounded by a mixture environment of resident and business. I come here again today after many years. It is still nice as it was. Nothing special or particularly good on food at this site as it is "Starbucks". However, the staff and the environment of this location are really nice and friendly! Feeling enjoyed to spend a hour here doing nothing in this early Thursday afternoon. One star because zero isn't an option. Today I had the pleasure of being handed the display cake pop -- yes, the one that's been sitting out all day under who-knows-what conditions -- because they ran out. Instead of telling me they didn't have any left, they thought giving me the dusty, possibly germ-infused display version was totally acceptable. I'm sorry, but that's not only gross -- that's a health hazard. How is that even allowed? On top of that, when I asked for a water refill (after they spilled the first one), I was told it was "against policy." Let's be clear -- they spilled it. Not me. But I'm the one left without water? The policy should be "don't spill it in the first place" or maybe "try basic customer service." Starbucks, I expected better. This was not just disappointing -- it was borderline unsanitary and absurdly unhelpful. read more

I placed a mobile order and by the time I got there, about 5 mins, it was ready for me on the counter. Because they were so efficient, I didn't stick around too long. I did notice the inside was very spacious and everything looked very clean. They also had a good sized outdoor patio where folks were enjoying drinks with their families. I didn't have any trouble finding 1hr street parking in front of the store. If you have to park down the block, you may enjoy a nice walk through the park. read more

Apparently a new policy was placed that no dogs were allowed in the store where previously they were able to come inside quickly with their owner . I was unaware of the change and the partner was completely rude about it . There are no signs indicating this change so how are we supposed to know ? The unprofessionalism displayed by the partners were completely uncalled for . Starbucks , please train your employees how to communicate in a more professional friendly manner also please ask that they reference dogs as animals and not pets as plenty of people in this community have registered ESAs. There's only 2 Starbucks that I LOVE. This one and the Powell Bart Station location. This Starbucks never effs up my orders, it's clean, and for the most part- they are fast. To be fair- I mobile order everything but the few times I ordered at the counter, service was great and drinks were done fast. We live in that complex so there are a lot of Google peeps and dog parents. This place is super cute and gives free tiny cups of whip cream for dog moms/dads to give their furbabies. Those that use this location for meetings and work have plenty of tables and community tables to pick from. read more

Refreshing my update years ago. Yes - this place(zanker villagio) is still my favorite among the many that i go. Today- Koko (Kourtney) and ADIL helped me with some complicated payment transactions. They are patient, understanding and full of empathy. Koko is strong in leadership, decisive and she is also the "go to" person. ADIL is super patient and did his best to help. Few days ago - we also picked up some ground coffee to begin a compost bin in the garden. This outlet is really focusing on sustainability. We called few outlets asking for used ground coffee. Most of the places- they do not save the ground coffee or the coffee are mixed with other disposables. This outlet (zanker villagio) is not the nearest place from my house but i would go there for the awesome service! One star cuz I do mobile ordering so I don't have to go in. 0 stars cuz there was a group of 6-7+ people that just walked in, they weren't asked to wait outside and they aren't 6 feet apart inside. No Starbucks employee is enforcing the rules posted outside. Another random guy just walked in so now there's at least 8-9 ppl in the store. So much for their rules. read more

Honestly one of the best Starbucks I've ever been to. I know they all serve the same stuff, but the service is what really made the difference here. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato and it took them about 5 minutes to get it to me! MOST of the other Starbucks I've been to take at least 15 minutes BUT it could have been due to the fact that it was a weekday at 8 AM because normally I don't order anything at that time. Parking: There's customer parking in the front from Zanker, but it's limited, so the later you come, the less there will be. I'm pretty sure there's additional parking, but if you're only going for a grab and go, the closer to the door you park the better. read more

Alright, for all the Starbucks I've reviewed, they all start with "What's to say, it's another Starbucks?" and I've never given 5 stars to a Starbucks because of the shear fact that they all sell the same old boring coffee pikes place and I'm sick of it! Then I discovered the Clover brewing system this location has (as I was whining to one of the baristas about pikes). Now I have options, the Ethiopian Sun Dried beans are so awesome and they can brew you a fresh cup in just minutes using this semi-automated french press style brewing machine. So far this has been the only Starbucks that I've been to that has this system so I felt compelled to write an update and bump them up to 5 stars... I also love that they are right next to Patxi's pizza, one of my favorite lunch spots so this is a win win... read more

Super friendly folks and large patio seating area are a plus. There is a park nearby where you can enjoy your coffee drink. That is if that coffee drink was enjoyable. Usually the mocha pumps hide the great variance in Starbucks coffee product due to beans, barista, water, and expresso machine. However, today I can taste a strong overtone of expresso sludge. I normally wouldn't write a review on a starbucks location cause I don't expect good customer service, but everything here is amazing. The customer service here is exceptional and the staff here are super friendly. Also the location is a decent size with abundant amount of wall outlets. They also have really nice outdoor seating where the sun faces. The best part is that I always ask for my coffee with nonfat milk and I don't have to monitor anyone here to ensure I get nonfat milk. At other locations I have to monitor the employees because I would receive their default 2%. They have never made a mistake with my coffee and even if they did, I am sure that they would not give me any attitude just to remake it. One time I adventurously bought a smoked butterscotch latte and I couldn't get past 2 sips. I was planning to throw it out and just get my usual. Since it was a full cup of liquids, I didn't want to just throw it out into the trashcan. I asked for them to throw it out into their sink. They asked me what was wrong with it and I had explained I wasn't a fan of the flavor and was willing to buy a new drink. They offered to just make me my new drink free of charge. Dropping in frequently to get work done online as the wifi is good and the environment pleasant. The music is at a good volume that it can be heard but not distract from work or chatting with others. The drinks are good, consistent, and speedy. If the three Starbucks with four block radius of each other, this is the overall best for my needs. read more

After fish tacos or chicago style pizza, this is the default caffeine run choice. It's large and new. The dark wood aesthetics which seem to be their de facto now is on full display. I really enjoyed doing work at this Starbucks. They have high ceilings ( which makes the place feel very open) and a good amount of seating with wall plugs. Music was at a good volume. The Crescent Village would not be the same without a great coffee shop for the amount of residents and visitors to hang out. Starbucks came to the rescue and this one of the newest I have seen. Pretty lamps, spacious and variety of sets and table inside and outside. All the moka and caramel colors everywhere enhance the coziness that you would not expect of a coffee chain. I like being at the patio, very lively. read more

I have never in my whole life gotten bad customer service from a Starbucks. Today I was having the most off day and o ordered a drink and I hated so I brought it back and they changed it to my usual but I forgot to tell them to use almond milk. So I was just going to give it away and order another one cause you know I don't wanna be the problem even bough I always am (lol) So I went back and they changed it for me again!!!! No complaints. I have not received bad customer service yet and I have Starbucks everyday from locations all over the US. This is the worst Starbucks I have been to I take my daughter to school every morning and for the last week I've been getting drinks and every time I've been getting drinks my coffee's been with bit of coffee grind n this morning my daughters Matcha ice tea just sitting there for over 10mins they didn't call my name she picked it up n put it back walked away then came back and said my name five minutes later the ice is melted and then when I brought it to their attention that it's been sitting there she told me she can remake it and have me wait another 15 minutes very disappointing I will go to Starbucks on McCarthy from now on they are so slow and inconsistent lost my business very slow like they need coffee ugh what waste of my time read more

Starbucks coffee is pretty consistent no matter where you go. You always know what you re going to get no matter where you go. What makes each Starbucks special is the staff. That's why I believe this Starbucks has to be the best around town! If you are looking for a bright atmosphere with plenty of smiles and laughter, this is the place to go. Every morning when I come in before I even get my coffee, they make my day. Their baristas are super quick and efficient. Sometimes my order will be ready for before I've even done paying! This starbucks has recently opened up at the junction of Zanker & Villagio, San Jose. I live in Crescent Village Apartments and had been craving for a coffee shop to open here. The nearest ones that I used to go to are in Rio Robles and Riveroaks Marketplace. I didn't give it a 5 star just because I could walk to pick up my coffee, the coffeeshop is huge and tastefully decorated. The outside seating is next to a batch of white roses and it looks beautiful. The staff is polite and helpful and I love the fact that there is ample place to sit even at busy hours. Nothing makes me more happy than the starbucks logo in the corner :) Did I say they serve samples many times a day :) read more

I live near this Starbucks so I decided to not be lazy and walk here to get some coffee after my graveyard shift. This place is probably the biggest Starbucks I've ever been to, sweet! They were quick making my coffee which is great, and it was hot which is always nice (you would be surprised at some places who make it warm). But, they didn't put the lid on correctly so it burned my hand a little, so check and be careful. I also ordered a muffin and the lady taking my order forgot to give it to me, so when I mentioned it to the barista she rolled her eyes. Sorry lady I know you're busy, sorry to bother you. Ugh...but I will come here again, the coffee was very tasty! read more

Slowest Starbucks everrr. It is 10am and there's a consistent line of 12 customers... Waiting to order! There's one girl making all the drinks, one rude one at the cash register, and one handling the pastries. When I finally got to the front of the line, I saw another looong line of empty cups waiting for that one poor girl at the end of the bar to fill with custom drinks :(. Usually the staff is nice and the storefront is very clean and modern. But I've never been able to get a quick&easy cup of coffee in the mornings. read more

You can also preorder whole cakes from them. The coffee is decent, but I find that $7 is a little steep for a latte that doesn't really stand out. I can sort of justify it by thinking that I'm also paying for the lovely space to work as well. The desserts are also a bit pricy, at around $10 per piece (and the pieces aren't huge). She didn't even finish it, which pretty much summed up how we both felt about the drinks. The shop shares a space with a Chevron gas station, and it doesn't have its own restroom. When I asked, I was told to use the Chevron bathroom, which felt unusual for a tea shop. The café also isn't the most comfortable place to hang out. I stopped by during a heat wave once and decided to stay for a bit, but it was still hot inside. I don't think the A/C was running, so I ended up leaving sooner than I planned. I could see myself grabbing a drink to go if I were already stopping for gas or just happened to be driving by. But personally, I'd rather drive a few minutes down the street to Barber Lane, where there are several other tea shops with better drinks and a more comfortable atmosphere. I can also do my grocery shopping while I'm there, so it's a much more convenient stop overall.

Spiced so deliciously and definitely helped warm us up. My grandpa got the matcha and was pleased with the taste as it was unsweetened but not bitter at all.
