Okay..I swear I've become one of those Starbucks addicts!! I've reviewed so many locations in one year. I need to stop this addiction. LOL Location/parking: This particular Starbucks is in my hood in 4S Ranch! They are practically everywhere now, but this one has a drive-thru. I have yet to order through there since the lines are always ridiculously long. I did notice they are quick to get orders out, which is a positive. I might try that option when the lines are shorter. Thankfully, they take mobile app orders which I opted for. Plenty of parking available since it's at a small shopping center near Target and other businesses. The interior is pretty average. Warm tones and a wooden island with seating. It was pretty clean and well-maintained. Napkins/straws fully stocked. I did notice this location is pretty busy and loud so not the best location to study or read a book. Customer service: I'm a basic biatch with my order! I just want a venti hot Cafe Americano, splash of almond milk, and three shots of Chai tea. They got my order perfectly right! The customer service was beyond fantastic! They are always friendly and patient.You could tell the employees were just loving their job. They must have some great managers and team leaders. This is my Starbucks that I go to everyday. This is a very busy location but the staff here is very efficient and it doesn't take long get your order. The staff here is nice, friendly and knowledgeable. There is one barista I wanted to commend, Luna, who always has the best energy when I see her, very friendly and personable. Knows my husband and I by name and our drink order. She also lets me know what new tumblers are out and I usually always get one when she mentions it. Today, she took our order from the drive through and made our day when we got our drinks! She put stickers on our drink lids. I know it's a small gesture but it's the little things that make a difference! Had to come on here and give her a shout out! I love to see when people love their job! read more

We stopped by the drive through today and let me tell you, this Starbucks is THE happiest starbucks on earth. I know Disneyland is closed (for now), so come here and you will get the full Disneyland amazing customer service experience!! Today Dani was on the drive through. You could hear her bubbly personality and her big smile through her headset all the way in the back passenger seat. She was THE highlight of our day out today. Which says a lot. I felt like she could be tinker bell!! Dancing as shes taking and making orders. We got to the window, and what did we see? My driver dived into the translucent icy blue eyes of Jordan. When did they start hiring models? And he was so nice!! The drinks were spot on perfect. The customer service was beyond fantastic! The store was clean and you could tell the employees were just loving their work. Which means they have some great managers and team leaders. I also really love that they have the local high school drink posted outside and they support and give back to the community. While not a "mom and pop" store, this store is part of our community. Walked in to this location to purchase a gift card for a Christmas present. Gave card to my daughter a week later, and the card balance was zero. Still had the receipt so called the "store manager" Julio. Told Julio someone at his store stole the $100 gift card info and Julio basically told me to pound sand. I have never been treated so rudely, unprofessionally and sarcastically in my life. Looking at ALL the other negative reviews here, maybe Julio needs to be fired and maybe go back to customer service 101 class. I came to this drive thru today around noon and ordered a few sandwiches and a couple drinks. I was a dollar short, so I just asked the barista to remove a sandwich from my order. They decided to give me the sandwich anyway. What they didnt know is that I had come here as a favor to my mother in law who is recovering from surgery and was unable to drive herself here to treat her two kids. And that when I opened my purse and realized I left my wallet at home and was just lucky to have a loose $20 bill floating around in there. I really appreciated this kindness. read more

I had a good experience at this newer Starbucks located in the community of Del Sur. I arrived a little early for having lunch with a friend nearby so I came here to kill some time and enjoy a cafe misto. I might as well. I asked for the dark roast for the misto and it certainly was dark. It was strong and with a slight bitterness that even the steamed milk could not mask. I should of switched it out with the medium roast but it was very busy which meant standing in line again and probably loosing my prime seat. They need to clean up that dark roast. On a good note, the staff members were all very friendly and were working as fast as the espresso machines would allow them. The Wi-Fi worked well and they offer seating inside and outside. read more

I come to this Starbucks often, I live near this shop. I come in and sit sometimes. I see how hard they work to fulfill everyone's orders, they work fast. Sure at times Ive had an Issue with my order, but they're more then willing to fix my drink for me. A simple mistake fixed. I see that there is a recent review. My recommendation is to have more patience for yourself and others. Remember that you're not the only customer. And remember that a Decaf Americano comes by brewing a special espresso roast, which gives the drink a similar taste to the coffee that comes from regular brewing. In the decaffeination process, there will be a small amount of caffeine that would be left in the coffee beans. It would be best if you made a switch from coffee to tea if you're having the jitters. Wow. Just wow. And not in a good way. I'd like to inform management about the poor customer service and professionalism their employees are displaying at this Starbucks. The two young girls working in the afternoon today were unfriendly, rude and inefficient. No greeting upon ordering. The young girl at the cash register kept messing up my order while she was ringing me up. When I mentioned the order wasn't correct, she didn't apologize or make any eye contact. It seemed as if I was "bothering her". While waiting for my drinks, the girls were making fun of and mocking customers going through the drive thru. There was only one order ahead of me but for some reason it took 10 mins to get my drink. They did not call my name or order when it was ready and just put it on the counter as if they could care less. No thank you upon picking up my order. I will NOT be returning to this Starbucks if this is the quality of employees they are hiring. I have plenty of other coffee options nearby (in fact there's another Starbucks in the same complex inside Target where the workers actually smile and greet you). I will be informing my neighbors and friends not to spend their hard earned money here. The address on the receipt has this set at 17135 Camino del Sur. They're in the same large plaza as Target, Chick fil A, Board & Brew, and a variety of other eateries. There is a very modern drive thru with a nice large computer screen displaying your order. The drive thru wasn't very busy when we visited last week late afternoon. Ordering was easy and quick. Paying was just as easy using my iphone at the pick up window. My venti ice coffee had a lot of ice. Too much ice. And the coffee tasted bitter and acidic. Not sure if it was an older batch/brew but definitely not the best iced coffee I've ever had from Starbucks. The location is convenient with great visibility from the street so you can't miss it. read more

It's a design issue that rests squarely on their operations and layout. Until they get the wait time under 15 minutes on a typical day will they earn an update to this review and their star rating. It closes at 8 PM in the evening. About 7:10 PM a barista shut down the restroom. Several customers (including me) asked to use the restroom but she rudely retorted that it was shut down for the day for cleaning. However, she was not cleaning it even when I left at 7:30 (she was outside). I told the manager (name is Jesse) that this was inconveniencing customers who were drinking liquids (including coffee which is a diuretic!). He simply shrugged and took no action. The lack of proactive and adaptive response to an unnecessary situation is disappointing. There are several ways of handling restroom cleaning which (in my observation) does not require more than 10-15 minutes. Maybe close one restroom at a time and/or let customers know when it is going to be shut down etc... Frankly the shop and the restroom should be open until closing time unless stated explicitly outside as company policy. Regardless, there is no excuse to be rude or discourteous with the customers. read more

My drink has been wrong the past two times I've been there. It was a vanilla bean frappe the first time and I got a vanilla bean/coffee frappe. And it was dog shit. And then i got an iced caramel cloud macchiato the second time. The foam was so hot, there was no ice and the coffee tasted like it had no milk at all. Was in the area and decided to splurge on a Starbucks, which I don't do very often. I used the app to order a large macchiato, and arrived in the store to see an iced version, which is not what I ordered. Already off to a bad start as I use the app when I'm in a hurry and want my drink ready. I point out the issue and the guy says something like, "Sorry, it's been a long day." OK, mistakes are made, but this kid looks overworked. He's the only one working, it seems like, and his manager is probably scheduling him too much. I felt bad for him. He re-makes the beverage, and in the process I see he's steaming regular milk when I paid the upcharge for almond milk. I feel so bad for the kid I don't say anything, but this is not what I ordered or paid for. I gave it a try and it tasted burned, so I threw it away. Starbucks corporate made things right with a credit on my account, but it's sad that it had to have this outcome. I had a very bad experience here today 6/12/23 around 4:50pm. The girl with short wavy brown hair with glasses was condescending. I asked for her name and she said it was Tatiana but I am not sure if she is telling the truth. The blond guy that took my order around 4:30pm was seemingly nice but he got my order wrong. I ordered a decaf americano instead I got a regular coffee. I can tell as soon as I drink regular coffee as I start getting jittery right away. I went back to Starbucks to get my decaf instead of regular coffee and Tatiana, if that is her name, called me "my dear" in a condescending manner when I asked them to fix their mistake. Then I told them I had dairy allergy and I would like them to top off the decaf coffee with oat milk. I am sure they intentionally put dairy in my coffee because I am feeling sick. Instead of owning up to their mistake in a genuine apologetic manner, I was greeted in a condescending and rude way. Then they intentionally used dairy in their product to make their customer sick. Management needs to get involved in training the employees to be ethical so there aren't future incidences like this with other customers. read more

There are a number of other Starbucks locations close-by (i.e. in Target, about 100 feet away from this one), but this one is going to end up being the most successful. Why? They have a drive-thru. That being said, the service was friendly and efficient. They were out of grande cups (I'm sure they'll get better at ordering once they've been in business a little longer), so they gave me a venti without charging me extra. So, bonus points for customer service. I'm a firm believer that all Starbucks's are created equal (except those with a drive-thru, or exceptionally good/bad service) and this one is no exception. I quickly alerted the barista, who said "no problem" and remade my drink within a few minutes. Fast forward to 30 minutes later and I check my app...I DID order an iced coffee! Doh!
