I love this Starbucks! It is not on a main intersection, so it is conveniently tucked away into a side street off of Stone Oak Parkway. However that does not mean that it does not get busy, because it certainly does! However, the staff here are really helpful and knowledgeable about their drinks. If you want someone who will make your drink exactly the way you want it, this is the Starbucks for you! I can get really specific about how I like my Shaken Espresso (with caramel sauce, caramel syrup, with vanilla sweet cold foam, caramel drizzle and light ice, upside down). However, they always make it just how I like it. I always pick up a little Puppuccino for my poodle too! And he LOVES it! The driveway can get pretty tight because it is squished between two parking areas so, that could be a little bit stressful. But the line usually moves pretty fast. Inside, there are some tables, so if you need a place to study or enjoy people watching, that would be a good place. Also there's a few tables outside, right by the entrance. I like to sit there on a nice day. All in all, you should try this Starbucks. They're really friendly and my drink always comes out accurately. read more

All things considered, this is the best freestanding Starbucks in the Stone Oak. It's hard to find a drive through Starbucks that doesn't compromise on the quality. Ordered the same shaken espresso at this location multiple times vs a location nearby also in stone oak and time and time again, the final product is impeccable. I always drive the extra 2 miles from my house for the quality. Never too watered down and always strong. Haven't ever been inside, but when you trust the drive through there is no reason to. read more

Management, please walk through proper procedures for making drinks. Ordered an iced shaken espresso, with light splash heavy cream. The barista placed the heavy cream in the shaker cup first, then directly poured the espresso shots in on top. The espresso should never be shaken with milk as this defeats the purpose of the drink. It should be placed last after the espresso has been aerated in the shaker with ice creating a beautifully layered drink. This is frustrating and such an easy thing to understand. So in short, if your iced shaken espresso looks blended like in this first image send it back. It should look like the second image. read more

Today was the first brisk day of fall, so of course I had to stop for a Pumpkin Spice Latte. The coffee was standard for Starbucks, but what was unfortunate was the parking lot layout. Don't come during peak weekend times! The drive thru line blocks the only parking spaces, so people get angry and just start backing up from their spots. In addition, the drive thru line backs up into the street. It just makes for a total parking & drive thru lane nightmare. Impatient people using strange maneuvers in the parking lot almost hit my car on 3 separate instances in the 20 minutes I waited in the drive thru! read more

This location is a bit complicated to get to. I'm not from that part of town, so I was unfamiliar and actually had to drive around and around until I could figure out how to get there (so partially my fault). Upon going through the drive thru, it was easy to place my order, pay and be on my way. The staff member was friendly and smiling. My drink, a caramel latte, was hot but a bit weak in my opinion and my croissant was hot and tasty. It is a small location off Stone Oak, and the traffic at that time of morning can be challenging. I've been here multiple times within a week and every time it's been the same: kind people who will actually do more than their job title. They have always gotten my order correct and so quickly too. No refunds so Manager said I had to order something else (herbal or else with caffeine) or lose the money. Not willing to call the other shop nearby or give us a credit for the next morning. Only option offered was to brew decaf coffee (1/2 the value) and have us wait 10 minutes. We left. Every time I come to this location it takes 10 mins or more to get my order. Today I waited for 15 minutes for ONE grande frap and when I got it it was dirty. I told one of the workers who didn't even apologize and barely wiped it up. Not my favorite Starbucks location, but it's convenient on the way to work. I'm glad this location has a drive-thru because I don't feel like walking outside when it's cold out. I usually get an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and white choco mocha before work. Both taste good enough for me. The white choco mocha isn't too bitter here. Sometimes I go for the caramel frapp if it's a warm day, also a good safe choice. The only problem with this location is the parking. There is hardly ever parking and you aren't allowed to park in the bank and restaurant parking which leaves very little parking because everyone is coming to Starbucks and hardly anyone goes to the restaurant next door or the bank. A lot of those reserved spots stay empty. Sometimes I have to park on the side of the street if I want to go inside, which isn't too big of a deal. Anyways the baristas are relatively friendly at this location and it gets the job done, so I don't have too many complaints. read more

It's not my go to location, but when I'm heading to work, it's the closest. The only problem I have with this location is that they're sooooo ooooooooo sloooooooooooooow! They're a friendly staff but too slow...even when they're isn't a lot of people there. I've sat 15-20 minutes in the drive thru waiting for my drink quite a few times. Starbucks has slowly becoming (in my opinion) only good for there coffee. They never seem to let me down on my order at the counter, from walking away and forgetting to grind my coffee, to never having what I'd like to have. This Starbucks is right down the street from the local smartphone repair company uBreakiFix. Walking distance. The staff is always very friendly and smiling, and they are very quick with serving you. Both the drive thru as well as walk ins, you will usually be in and out before you know it. Normal Starbucks decor as usual, with seating inside and out, with free WiFi provided. It can get pretty busy (as with any Starbucks) but if you're in the neighborhood, I would definitely recommend for your coffee fix. read more
