Drink
Mariah M.

I asked for a Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Espresso with very light. When I got the drink it was filled w/ ice and I voiced my complaints but still kept and tipped them. When I was emptying out the ice my drink was filled less than 50 percent. I understand that it's not going to be to brim but I was in honest shock. I paid $7 something for a drink less than half full. This is a picture of the drink with all ice taken out. I had not taken a sip yet.

Keeping the distance and cleaning awesome!

Everyone was so nice and sweet! They were busy in drive thru so I decide to go in and pick up and the barista and clerk was literally so friendly and nice. They had a huge stack of pick up drinks as well as their line and they still just made it so pleasant being inside! Very impressed! Also I love the concept of a positivity wall!everyone needs that sometime in their life!

This Starbucks location is convenient when in the area - welcoming staff and decent service. The six feet precaution was definitely put into place (as I was extremely appreciative of that), considering I had went inside to pick up my online order.

Gallons of milk (3) left sitting out. Notice the 1/2 gallon in the background.

Truth be told, I usually try to go somewhere twice before reviewing unless I experience something like I did today. Arrived about 10:45. Place was mildly busy. No one in front of me in line. Walked right up, ordered an Americano with a little room. Problem is, when you go to these Starbucks featuring a drive-thru...it's obvious the focus is on those in their cars. IMO, it took WAAAAY too long to get me a simple drink featuring shots of espresso and hot water. Then (and I've added photos), I realized there were three gallons of milk just sitting out. There is also a half gallon of milk in the background sitting out. I'm not sure how long they were sitting there, but they were out a minimum of 10 minutes while I was standing there waiting for my drink. That's both SCARY and GROSS. Let's just say I'm glad this location ISN'T on my regular rotation.

Always friendly service. Needed my lift but wanted to try something different. I had the americano and it came in a cute cup.

Not sure how you forget whipped cream?
Misty M.

I ordered a mocha frapp. Just one, that's it. Somehow they missed the whipped cream. I feel like that's a pretty big thing to miss. The only customization I had was coconut milk, so I'm not sure what happened. They did have the drink ready when I pulled up butI was in a hurry so just grabbed my drink and drove off before I noticed. This location is on a one way access road and i didn't have time to go all the way around the highway again. It was also HH so it wasn't worth the time. Check your drinks and make sure they're correct before you drive away.

The hibiscus monkey bread was tropical, fuchsia pink, and frosted Soft, slightly tangy, and honestly worth the side-eye I might get later. The cornbread had a crème brûlée-style top--that caramelized crack? Immediate yes. But the real reason I'll be back... the last mystery croissant that had no label. Flaky, buttery, filled with bright lemon goodness loveee. Citrus is my jam and this one delivered. Best choice hands down! Cute spot, great vibe, perfect for a post-spa sweet stop with your bestie. Will my dietitian judge me? Possibly. Would I do it again? Absolutely

You order at the counter and they give you a number, so you can sit down until your food and drinks are ready. Initially, I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. When I tried it, it was super super sweet, and I later learned that even though it is not included in the menu, the regular match includes several pumps of vanilla syrup. I wish this small ingredient was on the menu, because it really makes or break a matcha for me. I prefer my matcha unsweet. Thankfully, they were able to make me another one without the syrup, and it was much better! Will come back later to try some of their pastries and breakfast bowls in the future!

One of my favorite San Antonio coffee shops!…read more Ceramicist and former coffee shop + specialty tea shop barista here! I didn't realize Curator doubles as a pottery shop the first time I came here, and now I'm absolutely OBSESSED with the place. I love coming in to check out the pieces up for sale while sipping on a matcha latte. The baristas are always super friendly and never fail to make an excellent cup of matcha, and the place itself has such an artistic and inspiring atmosphere that it's a great place to relax or get some work done. I highly recommend stopping by for a delicious treat and to support talented local artists! You won't be disappointed!!

Soon as you walk in you can see a wall of pottery you can look at and even purchase if you like. The place is not just known for their coffee but they also set up painting and crafting classes (i did a paint pottery class here through yelp that was fun). They have a few seats too if you want to sit and relax with your drink. I came at a busy party of the day it seemed so didnt get to sit down. The ladies that worked at the counter was friendly and nice. They told me some recommendations on latte flavors and liked how they had milk substitutes. I ordered 2 matcha lattes with oat milk, one lavender and the other rose flavored. I liked how they flavors were subtle and didnt overpower the matcha flavor. It was very delicious and would recommend this drink or another latte they offer. It is somewhat far from where I'm at but if I happen to be around next time, I would absolutely come back.

This review has been overdue. Last month, after an early valentine's lunch, my aunt and uncle went…read moreoff in search of aguas frescas and mangonadas nearby while my cousin and I hunted for a dessert spot that was a little different. that spontaneous search led us to Just Smash'em--and it turned out to be a sweet find. The concept is simple but appealing: fun, unique combinations of sweet treats that lean slightly toward the lighter side. Think açaí bowls, waffles, and snackable options that could easily double as breakfast or a light meal. I ordered the Berry Good Bowl with açaí, oat milk, strawberries, blueberries, banana, pineapple, granola, almonds, and Nutella. In hindsight I could've skipped the banana and granola, but it was still delicious. The fruit tasted fresh, the sweetness was balanced, and the açaí base held up surprisingly well on the drive home. My cousin went for the Belgian waffle with banana and Nutella--the waffle he has been searching for in the first place--and it did night disappoint. Service was warm and patient while we navigated the menu, and we even got to chat briefly with David, the young lady went. He shared that the business started as a food truck before growing into this standalone shop. The nice young ladies at the counter even offered us to take a flower from their vase of pink carnations for the Valentines. It's a cozy spot with a welcoming I've, even with yea small arts-and-crafts area for kids that makes it feel like a neighborhood hangout. A fun kitty dessert stop when you're craving something sweet but a bit different. We'll definitely be back to try more.
