Was a cooler morning so I ordered a Matcha Latte with Oatmilk and 2 pumps of Classic Sugar Syrup vs. the standard 3 pumps. The order was ready in just a few minutes and I decided to use the walk-in pickup vs. the drive-thru as I needed to use the restroom. I was impressed with how clean the store was and the napkin/extra sweetener area was even clean. They even had Oatmilk in a Carafe as extra creamer in that station as well! The co-ed restroom was very tidy and well-kept. Employees were friendly and welcoming. As far as my drink, it was filled to the brim but I noticed it wasn't sweetened at all? The Matcha wasn't concentrated either. It just tasted like Oatmilk and a hint of Matcha. I don't know if they're using less powder for the drinks or what but for almost $6 a drink, you'd think it would be stronger? Friendly and efficient staff, drinks made quickly and correctly. Nice variety of seating options gives it more of a coffee house vibe than the cold impersonal vibe some Starbucks locations have. I asked for a Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Espresso with very light. When I got the drink it was filled w/ ice and I voiced my complaints but still kept and tipped them. When I was emptying out the ice my drink was filled less than 50 percent. I understand that it's not going to be to brim but I was in honest shock. Truth be told, I usually try to go somewhere twice before reviewing unless I experience something like I did today. Arrived about 10:45. Place was mildly busy. No one in front of me in line. Walked right up, ordered an Americano with a little room. Problem is, when you go to these Starbucks featuring a drive-thru...it's obvious the focus is on those in their cars. IMO, it took WAAAAY too long to get me a simple drink featuring shots of espresso and hot water. Then (and I've added photos), I realized there were three gallons of milk just sitting out. There is also a half gallon of milk in the background sitting out. I'm not sure how long they were sitting there, but they were out a minimum of 10 minutes while I was standing there waiting for my drink. That's both SCARY and GROSS. Let's just say I'm glad this location ISN'T on my regular rotation. read more

I ordered a mocha frapp. Just one, that's it. Somehow they missed the whipped cream. I feel like that's a pretty big thing to miss. The only customization I had was coconut milk, so I'm not sure what happened. They did have the drink ready when I pulled up butI was in a hurry so just grabbed my drink and drove off before I noticed. This location is on a one way access road and i didn't have time to go all the way around the highway again. It was also HH so it wasn't worth the time. Extended patio covered with big pergola; extra seating at umbrella tables on the big sidewalk. Easy access from the highway and PLENTY of parking! Drive through when you're on the go. Warm, spacious inside seating area with big community table and a nice lounge area. Traditional Starbucks food and drinks. Friendly staff. Fun first day activities with a big cake to celebrate the Grand Opening and live music. Check it out before everyone discovers it and the place gets crazy crowded! read more

I have been coming to this Starbucks for years and it was about time I gave a review. Of all the Starbucks I have been to around the country, this is the best. The employees are the best around!! They are all very sweet and efficient! I tip my hat to the staff and the management!! Outstanding service!! For the number of years that I have been coming to this location, I have never had a bad experience!!! They are a well oiled machine of great customer service!! Thank you for making my morning coffee great!! Much appreciated!! FYI... the drive through does get busy between 9am and 11:00am. Came as a last minute customer before closing for something sweet (hate to be that person) the worker there (I think by the name of chris) was extremely kind and upbeat. Been to this location 5 times now and I really enjoy it! The staff is friendly and I think since it opened everyone is trained up well and can really keep up with demand. I haven't seen it messy like it was in a previous reviewers photo, so that's a good thing. There is something creepy about how water leaks out from under the counter all of the time. I'm not docking any stars because they told me the first time I commented that they've had someone out a few times and can't find the leak. It's very obviously a drain pipe that is dripping, based on the water color, probably from a loose trap connection. Fix this already! Also, a trip for them is to hit the leather chairs with a rag all around the sides, careless patrons have slipped drinks onto the chairs. But, I still stand this is a friendly, comfy place to go and hang out! read more

This is 100% my favorite Starbucks location. The baristas always welcome me with a smile friendly service. Alex always has my drink ready as soon as I'm done paying every time without fail in the morning and Jeremy takes time to ask me about my day in the evening. I've been going here once every 2 weeks or so. Business has been declining since July. Today I was there around 11:45 and there were 3 girls working. The drive thru had about 7 cars in line and several people in the store. I waited approx 20 minutes inside, only one girl making drinks. She said it was the way they staff. Generally, this location is good about moving the lines. A few times they've been out of milk and other supplies (i.e. syrups, toppings) to make drinks, so it's a littler frustrating that in 2017 we don't have a way to link store's actual inventory with the Starbucks app, which often leads to them making my drinks without certain requested ingredients or they just don't make the drink until I get there to ask if I still want it (or if there's anything I want to substitute for what they don't have). For a company that says they're doing all these different things to focus on the mobile experience, they're really missing the boat. read more

I placed a mobile order, when I arrived the drinks were sitting on the counter. The cold drink partially melted, the hot drink was getting cold. I had ordered a sandwich and it wasn't ready with the drinks. I asked the barista about the sandwich and she told me it would be ready in a few minutes. At least 6 other customers came through the line and got their coffee, as well as the food they ordered. I asked the barista again about the sandwich, she said it would be a few more minutes. After 8 minutes one of the guys from the drive thru line went to the oven and cooked my sandwich. Why have a service like mobile ordering to expedite the process and still have a customer waiting around? Get it together.... read more

Worst Starbucks I have been to in San Antonio. I go to Starbucks ALOT. Almost always order with the App. Every other location seems to be able to have my drink (and food order when I include) ready when I arrive, or shortly after. EXCEPT this location. Seems like 3 or 4 Times out of 5 the drink isn't ready. Often they haven't even started my drink. Happens sometimes when they're busy and when they aren't. Today there was one customer inside, and 2 cars in the drive thru, and when I arrived (after the amount of time the app suggested) they hadn't started my drink. If I could rate zero I would. Outside of bad service and making my drink wrong twice. They then told me I didn't know what it should taste like. I drink one thing from here I know what it should taste like. I was charged for coconut milk when I asked after the second time of being made incorrectly I requested a refund and was told no.
