They do not specify whether you have to come in or go through the drive-through just says an order for pick up today for the first time they told me not allowed to pick up my order at the drive-through anymore even though I already paid. it's not as if i'm holding up the line placing an order The entire reason why I go to the drive-through is because they are too slow and prioritize the drive-through over people inside regardless of whether I paid already or not but due to the apparent snarling and backhanded comments by the workers there it's to hard to hand a bag through a window they rather you come inside and be ignored.... read more

The costumer service is absolutely awful. I walked in today and "one of the managers" stood there for 5 minutes saying she hadn't "clocked into her shift yet". She then proceeded to take forever to heat up my sandwich with a horrible attitude. She said "it's going to be an able or I can give you a refund". I asked for a refund and she told me to wait!! Walked in and went to the order cashier. 6 people working behind the counter. They were all busy. However. Not a single one acknowledged me during the 10 minutes (literally 10 min) that I stood at the counter. Finally I stepped over to a group of 4 who were talking to each other and asked if they could take my order. One young woman looked at me, smiled, and said "Yes, but it's going to be a while". Seriously??!! I walked out. Never going back there again. Luckily there are several other coffee places near by. PJ's is one block farther South and Rise Up is just around the corner. The brewed tap is directly behind the register. 30 minutes later I got my order because the cashier lacked the presence of mind to spend 15 seconds on the easiest order at Starbucks. I'm sad to say my visit today was less than stellar! I went inside (I walk pretty much everywhere), and waited inside for quite some time. I'm surprised because usually there is not much of a wait. 3 visits 1 review, and... 1 cool dude named Austin! I often visit this Starbucks when I visit my parents. Some days the wait is longer than others (due to Covid), so I got smart and started ordering ahead. On my second visit, an item was not in my bag and I had to return to get it. They were very cordial about giving me what I paid for. Now on my 3rd visit, there was one cool dude working drive-through. He was funny, polite, and really acted like he wanted to work. That I can appreciate because too often when you go to fast food places (excluding Chick-fil-a) the employees act like they really do not like their jobs and do not want to be at work, which is reflected through the type of service that they give. I want to give 3 cheers to that one cool dude named Austin whose positive attitude and customer service made my day! read more

One of my favorite Starbucks to go to. The staff are all very nice and are always wearing face mask. They always have my order correct and the line does not take too long. Sometimes they're low on ingredients but they generally have everything I want. I would definitely recommend going to this Starbucks! read more

Absolutely appalled by the service at this establishment !! This branch had maybe 1/4th of the drinks in stock (and that's being generous). When I came, there were only 3 options: coffee, tea, and lemonade. No refreshers. No fraps. NOTHING !! who comes to Starbucks for a black coffee- I can make that at home!! I stopped here to grab a salad or sandwich with an expiring reward the other day while shopping in the area. I bought a chicken wrap to go. Belatedly, I noticed I'd bought it on the "sell by" date. Peanut sauce for veggies had leaked from the container (cucumber slices looked like they'd been frozen) and apple slices fared somewhat better. Wrap was soggy - I pitched most of the meal. Before peak lunchtime, this was my best option. I really don't think wrap sandwiches can be kept two days and be tasty. The staff was friendly - Starbucks needs to rethink this. read more

Stopped by this Starbucks for some coffee on my way home to Virginia Beach. I'm a truck driver so this location is great because there is parking behind the store for a big truck. Unfortunately my truck broke down and was forced to stay the night. On both my visits last night and this morning, I was greeted by a Friendly, smiling staff. This is probably the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I've never gotten a drink in under 20 minutes and 4/5 times it's not even correct. You can't park in the parking lot without the chance of someone hitting you while in the drive through line not to mention it's right across from SU campus so you'd expect It to be a quick stop before class. read more

Only started coming here but it was more convient for me than Dunkin' Donuts. I always have to wait at the drive thru for a simple coffee. I went to the new Starbucks in Salisbury near the college on Sunday. Prices were not posted. The sandwiches were mediocre and expensive. I asked for aged Sumatra coffee which is the founder's favorite and they did not have it. They did not have functional WI-FI. They said too many people were using it. I saw only 2 other people who may have been using it. I have been to Starbucks all over the world. This place was the worst. The best tasting coffee I have ever had was in Beijing at a McDonald's across from the train station. I will be sticking with MCD. read more

Lovely people here (except for the manager)! My wife says their chai is actually tastier than other Starbucks places. However, in their rush to open this new facility, they forgot to check the wall sockets: They don't work. Also, if you have a MacBook, good luck using the WiFi. read more
