Besides the standard side of toast or biscuit, you can get a choice of a donut. My coconut chocolate donut was delicious, very moist. Fortunately for Kellyn's Cafe it is a popular spot for Salisbury University students, however there is no waiting area in the restaurant. On the day I signed paperwork for my new Millsboro house in 2019 I sat alone in what was then Dagsboro Days; a few years later the spot turned into a vegan bakery, today it's Kisa (Russian for cat I'm told). We arrived on a busy morning. The place was quite active and full. We ordered a bagel, a breakfast sandwich, latte and tea. Had a very pleasant breakfast. My latte was nice and strong the way I like it and the sandwich "Breakfast Delight" was excellent--egg, tomato, lettuce, guacamole on rustic bread. Very fresh and flavorful. My only concern here is service. Everyone can have a bad day or respond to stress in different ways but this morning our server was quite brusque to the point of rudeness. As I myself work in a service type of job, I get it; sometimes it gets a little much. So on subsequent trips there I'll see if the engagement differs and file an update.
