I don't understand why the baristas here are so rude. This is the Starbucks I stop at on my way to work and the baristas alone are having me consider find a new coffee shop. I was a barista at a Starbucks in SoCal during college and we'd literally be out of jobs if we treated our customers like they're just a means to a paycheck and nothing more. Customer satisfaction was of top importance for us at least back in 2016. Is this a Starbucks change or just a lack of training at this location? What a shame to see a company allow employees to act in such a dismissive and rude manner to customers. This isn't a one time occurrence either. This is a repeated behavior from multiple baristas, especially Kaylei. To the district manager, I'd do something to fix this issue. I understand you're off a freeway so don't cater to regulars, but for the regular customers you DO have, huge disappointment. read more

An employee named Ashley was rude and dismissive on Saturday morning 9/13/25. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a latte. The employee making the hot drinks was professional and friendly. Ashley was not. I pointed out that my breakfast sandwich was missing the cheese and bacon. The bacon small tiny broken bits and not a full strip. She was rude and dismissive when I requested another sandwich. I walked away and asked a male employee if I could have another sandwich. read more

Came to get a couple drinks on a Saturday night. The gentleman that took my order at drive thru was awesome. Very friendly and customer service was top notch. Gave me an excellent recommendation and drinks were good. Honestly made my night better. 10/10 would come again! read more

Been in drive threw over twenty minutes and still don't have my coffee and this is the second time will not return to this location ever

Absolutely the slowest Starbucks ever! Been in the in the drive through for over 20 minutes and still NO coffee! I don't understand how a drive through can be this slow! Finally at the window and it took the person 7 minutes to scan our payment. Then another 10 minutes to get our coffee. That is 37 minutes for 2 coffees. Absolutely uncalled for and the worst service ever. WILL NEVER RETURN! I'd give you 0 stars but unfortunately I can't if I want to post a review! This makes me want to try Dutch Bros because I've seen their drive through lines and they are always moving! Just tasted my coffees. The peppermint mocha is good, however the white mocha has no white mocha! ITS JUST A LATTE!! WTF!! So, recap. I went in drive thru and ordered a hot coffee but I didn't know exactly how to order what I was craving so I honestly butchered my order. It ended up being luke-warm. The young man working drive thru and woman who I believed was manager was so nice and they offered to make me something different that I might like since they understood what I was craving and what I was going for. They ended up making me an extra hot latte with sugar free vanilla and vanilla sweet cream foam on top. It was so good and now my favourite drink from Starbucks. Thank you! EVERY FUCKING TIME, they be mad stingy when they make your drinks, one time I asked for light ice, they did the opposite. Filled it all the way with ice and very little of the dragon fruit drink. I got a frappe they didn't even fill it to the top, to give it that look they just added their whipped cream at the bottom. It does not state on the app or outside the store/parking lot that indoors is not operating! Grrr. I never mind running in. The human connection is necessary sometimes. Especially during the pandemic. But the doors are locked and no signs indicate that indoors is closed. And then there's my picture of the app. It states "in-store" and "drive-thru". They're half correct. Which is an F score. Not acceptable. So having lost my space in the driveway line, only to return and find I have to drive almost out of the parking lot to U-turn and be 4 cars back from my original spot. read more

The Vibe at this location changed, it seemed cold, and tense, did not feel the most welcoming vibe with the looks in people's eyes, especially after getting my coffee and sitting down when one of the brunette ladies whom I think was possibly a manager or shift lead shot me what felt like was a dirty look before she sat down. Maybe she was having a Sh*t day or is mad at the world who knows? What goes around, come around. The service is the worst. Some of the ladies working there have the worst attitude towards customers. I saw one of them completely ignore a customer, not even a good morning, giving the drink and closing out the window so loud I could hear it from being in line behind. When I finally got in line, the brunette with blue eyes gave me an attitude and was talking badly about the customer. What a shame! Used to live in Ripon and would come here all the time. Came home to visit last week and wow! Store was super clean, even though it could really use an update, and was decorated so fun for Halloween! I stop by this place, usually my go to Starbucks...great location, easy access to freeway, etc NEVER had issues...today they were off their game. My ONLY pet peeve, with any drive thru is that if you don't have something that I just ordered, tell me so I can pick something else....been through Covid with you ordering and not having certain things, I get it, no problem....JUST TELL ME!!! So when I pull up and you hand me a CLEAR Dragonfruit Refresher, uh....WHAT?? Its suppose to be reddish purple w/ fruit. So as you're handing me the drink, you inform me that your store is out of ALL the added fruit contents.....oh, by the way, this is my wife's drink, so quess you gets to hear about this for the half hour....and I totally get her frustration!!! I like Starbucks, I like the variety that Starbucks offers and I'll give your story another go but PLEASE...just be up front and fill in your customers on what we can have or not!! read more

What a nice breath of fresh air finally at this Starbucks...the new manager, Robin, is really bringing a new light to a mediocre store!! This would be a great place to work (if (post-COVID) people actually wanted or needed a job! We call this location Ghostbucks. Over the last 5 years, we've repeatedly found ourselves in need of caffeine on the route between the Bay Area and Fresno. We would see that famous green mermaid sign from the freeway and exit 99 in search of coffee. We would drive down a deserted looking street with No U-turn signs at each intersection, finally turning around at the roundabout at the end of the road, and then drive back through the tiny little town searching desperately for Starbucks. Each time, we'd end up getting back on the freeway frustrated and coffee-less. We've done this four times over five years, each time realizing: "Oh snap! This isn't Starbucks it's that darn Ghostbucks!!" We knew there MUST be a Starbucks here so this year we drove circles around this tiny little town until we finally found it. It's very well hidden, but we were successful!! There are hardly any signs. I took pictures. To save you from experiencing our misery, I've added a quick tip, photos, and also this review. Without further ado I present: ---------------------------------------------------- HOW TO FIND THE STARBUCKS IN RIPON: ---------------------------------------------------- From Colony Rd, turn into the unnamed road between the Chevron and Discount Liquor, heading towards the big water tower. Drive down that "road" and you'll find the drive-thru directly before you. The store entrance is around the corner. I like the Starbucks because it's it has a drive-through the only thing that sucks is that it's right there off of the freeway near major trucking stops and the drive-through can get so backed up literally all the way out to the street. On those rare occasions that you can be in and out and that's at 5 o'clock in the morning or some kind of a late night or right there around 11 o'clock. But they are always friendly and they do try to keep the line going. Parking in the lot is super annoying, because it's really small and shared with 3 different places to eat and it gets really busy. read more

Drive-thru line was super long, so we went inside. It probably took just as long inside, even though there weren't anyone in line, but maybe about 2-3 people waiting for their drinks. They seemed hectic trying to keep up with the orders and remaking drinks. Service is slow, but the baristas are friendly. They had a drink made by mistake and we were asked if we wanted it. Great location to come for quick service. They are pretty busy so have to wait a little but what do you expect they are located right next to the freeway! Stopped here on our way to Sacramento as we were craving a cake pop and a refresher. First off the place can not be seen as there is a giant tree in front of the sign. The Starbucks is next to the taco shop. This Starbucks is one of the dirtiest ones I think I have ever been too. We almost left after the stop to the bathrooms, but we were able to see them making the refreshers so it helped a little. Clean your floors, bathrooms and counters for goodness sake. read more

I have always been pleased with THIS starbucks. Its actually faster to go inside than wait in the 10 car drive through pile up. Usually when I see more than 6 cars..I just go inside. No line. I am in and out within 5 minutes..and the same cars are still in the drive thre..plus some. First time I stopped at this Starbucks I got a ticket for turning on a No-U turn area..since I wasn't very familiar on how to get back on the freeway from this starbucks...after a warning from the Ripon Police...I sure learned quick!!! read more

Okay I hate giving negative reviews but it is INSANE how slow this drive through is. I have come to it on a couple different occasions and I have never once made it through the drive through in a reasonable amount of time. I understand it's right off the freeway but I have been to other locations with 10+ cars and made it through in under 30 minutes. I was SO happy about the arrival of the new Starbucks off of Jack Tone Road! I always stop at the Flying J to fill up on gas when I'm in the central valley- so the fact that this Starbucks has a drive thru is a big plus! Gotta have my tall Americano for the road! read more

The drive thru line was very long, so I went inside to use the bathroom. I know why the drive thru line was so long. It was utter chaos behind the counter because the 3 employees were too busy playing around and talking amongst themselves instead of making drinks. There were only 1 person in front of me and they got water and a pastry. So I stood there waiting patiently watching drinks being remade because they were wrong. There was a female customer hanging on the counter entertaining the 3 employees and may have been trying to get a date. After about 8 minutes, one of the employees asked what I ordered, to which I replied mocha frappacino. He looked around and found one had been started in the blender and poured it in a cup. I am sure it belonged to a drive thru customer instead. The drink was flavorless and runny. Terrible service and terrible drink. I will no longer be stopping at this Starbucks. Certainly needs to provide customer service training or have them clean the trash cans until customers become important. read more
