I was a 'partner' at Starbucks for too long, and I don't go more than once or twice a year, since "seeing behind the curtain". But these Baristas thoroughly impressed me with their service! Enough I had to give them credit. Whoever they have working 'Mid' shift at this location is ON IT. Drink was spot on, served well within the time expectations I know they require, and with a wonderful hand written note. I know these folks aren't paid enough to provide stellar service, but yet they went above and beyond. Starbucks gets their atmosphere and pricing in order.. And I might be back as a regular customer. These baristas reminded me what Starbucks used to be like. A huge thank you to them!! (Only reason for 4 stars is the price of the drink:) (If I could. Standard franchised outlet, this Starbucks is relatively clean, except the tables, with the same ambience as any other location. However, the staff is fixed on their niche roles to the point of ignoring the customer if the cashier or drive-thru attendant doesn't address you. The cashier was obtuse and asked if we wanted our sandwiches cut in half. We did but that didn't get communicated down the line. She also thought we ordered a shot of espresso, not so. I waited at pick-up while the coffee mixers just glanced at me while gossiping. Cashier didn't address us. The drive-thru lady was busy but made sure we got our coffee and sandwiches. I just don't understand the lack of customer service or even common courtesy or even a "hi". And there is rarely anyone cleaning tables after a group leaves. You'll have to clean up your own area. It's not a friendly place on our visit. We'll try it again when we absolutely require some wake up juice. read more

I'm really starting to feel concern for this, my neighborhood Starbucks. It's 2 minutes away and used to be convenient to have breakfast and catch up on emails before work, or to write creatively in the afternoons or to chill and read at in the evenings with a drink. However I'm finding it's consistently filthy, to the point that today after trying 3 tables, looking down at the floor, the tables and corners, the accumulated dirt and grime around them as well as the outlets. Looking around and dried up coffee stains at the serving counter and walking out, as I did because I just couldn't stomach it, it literally felt dirty all around, I noticed the dried up stains and trash at the garbage station. I couldn't help but wonder if the machines are being properly cleaned. I left and went to the hwy 528 location, further, but always on point and clean. Unfortunately they were packed. I've noticed over time, but it's just not getting better. I almost failed to mention that I came through the drive through yesterday after a shop at Walmart and was told they were out of coffee. How does Starbucks let their coffee run out? Why did I dare try again today in the first place. I went to SB to Use my birthday gift card. We ordered two drinks, a caramel macchiato and a hot chocolate and a. Cheese pastry. The girl taking the order "MIA"!couldn't have been any more rude if she tried. We asked what was available seeing as though it was evening and probably low in stock, completely understandable. I live close by so this has always been my go to Starbucks location but lately when I go get my usual drink it's a poop color compared to if I go to the 528 location it's the perfect brown.. not sure if they hired someone new and they just don't know what they're doing but as of today getting another poop color coffee I'm no longer going to this location and will drive an extra 10min to get coffee from a location who knows what they're doing.. This location has changed for the better. The front is totally redone. Updated beautifully. It was a breath of fresh air. The staff was very polite and friendly. I used to enjoy this location a lot but my kids changed schools so I have a closer location that I go to now. I come here pretty often, the coffee tastes worse and worse every time. I decided to change my order, and started ordering fruity drinks. Last time I went in, I ordered a violet drink with LIGHT ICE. They entered my order correctly, because it was on the cup. When I got my drink, it was about 3/4 full of ice. I literally paid $6 for ice with a little bit of drink. (Picture attached). Yes, there should be pumpkin spice everything! Even if you don't want it, someone else will. I enjoyed the iced caramel macchiato, though it did not taste exactly like the others I had at this location. I wanted a pumpkin and cream cheese muffin but they no longer serve them, to my dismay. I order a Grande Ice Coffee in a venti Cup so that I can ADD CREAMER but there was so much damn ice in my cup, I had to fight to get the straw through...UNSUCCESSFULLY The customer service is hit-or-miss. They either really happy or anti-social. You can usually tell thru drive thru what type of person you'll be dealing with when they say "hello" with a smile, or an attitude. I love this Starbucks. I typically have a good experience here at the drive-thru. Today I ordered a frappuccino and a breakfast sandwich, and even though the barista said they had the chorizo sandwich, she informed me at the window that they actually were out. She offered me alternatives instead, gave me my frap, and told me to pull around front where they'd give me the sandwich shortly. I go to this Starbucks about 3-4 times per month. I usually order ahead via the app. Each time I go through the drive-thru, a friendly, well-spoken staff member greets me. I let them know I've ordered online and they quickly confirm my order and send me to the pick up window. My order is usually ready almost immediately and I am able to continue onto my next destination. If I haven't ordered ahead, the greeting is always the same and my order is taken quickly and correctly. I wait maybe 5 minutes in line and I am up at the window to pay and get my order. Again, the staff member is friendly and greets me each time. I don't usually go inside, but on those occasions that I have, the customer service doesn't disappoint. The wait can be a little longer depending on the time, day, and number of customers. I have ordered food items in the past, such as their blueberry scone and spinach feta wrap. Both items were tasty and I had nothing negative to say about them. Overall, I would recommend this Starbucks to anyone that's either local or in the area and needs their cup of Joe. read more

I met my wife at this Starbucks. So that's pretty neat. Every time that I have returned to this Starbucks, it brings back all the feels. Back in the olden days, when I used to live in the area, I used to frequent this store almost every day and while the faces have changed, the experience is still the same. I ordered my drink this morning on the app. Somehow my drink order was cancelled and I was not aware until waiting for my drink for 10 minutes. I asked the cashier and she made an excuse but placed my order again. After waiting another 10-15 minutes I asked her where my drink was again. She didn't know and couldn't find the order again. I told her to cancel my order and refund me. Then I asked for the manager and was given a shift supervisor who made more excuses of being busy. I get that they are busy however, when I wait and watch 3 full lines in the drive thru disappear and the people coming inside are getting drinks instantaneous there's NO EXCUSE. I was given a $4 drink card that doesn't even cover the drink I buy every single day. I was insulted by the behavior of the shift manager and how this was handled. For someone who spends over $250 a month at Starbucks you'd think they'd appreciate you, yet they don't. read more
