Everything here was amazing in flavor! It was the best panini I've had in a very long time. I got the green chile one and it was as delicious! Hubs got the siracha bacon sandwich and that was a flavor bomb of deliciousness! The kids shared the chicken panini which I tasted and that was also delicious! The Americano was delicious hubs was sad when he finished it off! Lol I had a chai and that was good! I like all the different milk options for us non dairy drinking peeps! This place is a hidden gem! The food, service and ambiance are great! Carne adovada tacos: these were so flavorful and filling! The pork was well seasoned. Cinnamon roll: these were individually wrapped to preserve the softness and tasted so good! I come to Cafe Bella once a month to meet friends. Such a great place and the owner is great. Assuming she is. They get pastries from pastrians on 2nd I believe. They have a small morning menu and the best scones! I had honey almond today but their coconut is so amazing and she'll warm it up for you. This was an amazing place! Stopped by this local coffee shop before heading to my daughter's appointment! We were not disappointed! The young lady at the register was sweet enough to ask us what my daughters favorite animal was and drew it on her cup, how cute it that, the food was amazing we ordered two sandwiches the chicken panini and the carne adobada panini they were super yummy! My dad brought me here on a recent visit to ABQ. It is one of the coffee shops he keeps in his rotation. So we visited for a java jolt and a shared pastry for breakfast before a lil' hike. Service was really good, and the employees were super friendly. But ultimately I was disappointed overall. My drink could have been sweeter. I got an iced white chocolate cinnamon latte and I didn't taste much of either of those flavors (if any) and I ended up putting quite a bit of sweetener in it to make it palatable to my personal taste level. I would have like to have been able to taste some kind of chocolate flavor.... And the scone we got was very hard. The flavors in it were nice, but it physically hurt to eat it. I am willing to think it was an off day and I wouldn't protest another return visit. But also there are plenty of other coffee shops that I have been to in the area that I like more reliably. read more

I drove past this place on my way to drop my dog off at the groomers and decided to try something local instead of Starbucks again and it was a great decision! When I first walked in the place was pretty spacious there was a giant old car in the middle of the room and the decor went along with a similar theme. I believe they also had art on the wall from local artist It was pretty interesting. Go check it out! What really caught my eye was the all the different selections of coffee they had on the menu. For example: Cinnamon honey, peanut butter caramel, and red chile mocha lattes. The flavors and prices seemed great. So I ordered a medium toasted coconut white latte with soy ($5.50). It came with actual coconut flakes in it and was delicious! I got an apple scone the size of my fist for my mother, she said it was not very sweet but still good none the less. I wanted to try the Panini of the day which was slow roasted red chile pork, greens, balsamic mayo, and mozzarella on focaccia bread. Sounded bomb right!? But, the person working at the time didn't hear my request so I never got to try it. However, when I went up to get my order and noticed I was missing that panini she was more than happy to make it on the spot but I had a meeting and had to run but definitely next time I really enjoyed this place. read more

At the cusp of Rio Rancho and Albuquerque is this wonderful cafe spot. One of the things I noticed while I was waiting to order was their friendly hospitality. Although they were busy, they made sure to greet every single person that walked in and say thank you as they walked out. This place is simple, clean and fresh. I had the chowder and chai tea latte and boy were they delicious and perfect for a winter day. I had to do some work before my next appointment so I was glad I brought my laptop with me. 3.5 stars I had been wanting to try this place for a few years now after seeing the chocolate bacon waffles on special and the unique coffees, but didn't quite live up to the high expectations I had placed on it. Even though I'm on the east side, I decided to make the trip. It was easy to find and tucked away in a strip mall. There was a few wooden tables outdoors for when the weather gets warmer. There were a few tables set up inside, a motorcycle (I noticed that they do host a few motorcycle events here), and a Christmas tree and I could even see adding more tables, watching several people come in and order while I was waiting for mine. It was cozy. I ordered the small chocolate peanut butter latte with oat milk and the chocolate peanut butter iced latter with oat milk for me, a small pineapple banana coconut blended freeze with oat milk (surprised these were made with milk as well), and a chicken panini for my dad- all to go. The guy taking the order at the counter told me it'd be about a 15-20 minute wait, since there were a lot of orders ahead of mine. That was okay. (I had tried to place an order online on Selflane before going over there, but it was going to charge me twice for milk options. I tried calling in the order, but the phone rang and rang before saying the mailbox was full). I was a little surprised as I watched and saw food being prepared with no gloves- the guy went from touching the register to taking out a panini and a gal used a rag to wipe the counter for the melted cheese and crumbs from the panini pan and then prepared another sandwich. The atmosphere got a little smoky in there as everything was busily being prepared. I ran into a fellow Yelper while there- it was her and her friend's first visit there. Her friend raved about the chicken panini and the red chile mocha, a unique combination. My fellow Yelper got the breakfast sandwich and the cafe con leche, which she both loved. My dad really liked the panini and the waffles were good, despite the whipped cream mostly melting before getting into the car. There was plenty of bacon on the waffles as well. My latte didn't have a strong coffee flavor, but you could really taste the peanut butter in it. To address the good first, the baristas are always kind and helpful when asked about drink selection. Tacos and drinks are always a hit with the family. However, i've gone several Friday nights and the manager(Im guessing) has seemed very hostile multiple times to both his employees and the customers. Wow. Great little neighbor coffee place. Hard to find these days. They greet you when you come in. Atmosphere here is good. Music playing, people just relaxing while drinking their coffee. I am a sucker for a good cup of coffee and I got one here. So I think I'll have to start coming back. Inside is set up with wall art, tables that at this time don't rock back as forth. Lol. I hate that. The food looks good, I could see it at the table next t to me. They serve breakfast all day!! It even says it on the menu!! I have to say the coffee is smooth. Yes. I'll be back again. I feel like I needed to update this review since my first visit, because after multiple repeat visits, sippin on a variety of coffee delights (white chocolate raspberry mocha, cafe au lait, organic brew, peppermint white chocolate latte) and noshin on a plethora of sammies and delectables along the way (sriracha bacon sandwich, savory breakfast sandwich, street tacos, banana bread), I wanted to declare that this is truly my favorite west side coffee house. The sriracha bacon sammy is sooooo soooo gooooood, so good. I try to order other items when I visit, but I just can't help myself. This sandwich is my fav. But the street tacos, Lawd have mercy, are absolutely legit and some of my fav in this entire city. I highly recommend you giving this place a go, it never disappoints. read more

My breakfast savory sandwich was on a soft herbed focaccia bread with a nice portion of egg with bacon pieces in it. It all messed together to be a full-flavored breakfast in each bite. By and far one of my favorite coffee spots in the ABQ - fortunate enough to live nearby. The food is amazing and every time I've gone in I've gotten a breakfast sandwich. The Sriracha egg sandwich never disappoints. I've taken a bag of beans to go which were roasted the week prior and hit the spot at home. I still love this place. But it's quite clear that when the cat's away, the mice will play. Three girls working this morning. One taller blonde with a ponytail texting on her phone constantly. Literally non stop. The other two just chatting the whole time. 80% of the tables covered in crumbs. No one wiped them the whole time we were there. So we had to swipe it off ourselves. Food and drinks still great. But come on, the place was practically empty so no excuse for the girls to do absolutely nothing. Music still a tad loud. And boo....no more couch to sit on.
